I have bought for myself a ... DIGITAL CAMERA!!!! Since I got a permanent job in March 2006, it took me 13 months to get a digicam. Yeah, I know, I am pathetic but what da heck?! I already got one, and within my budget! *BIG EVIL LAUGH* I cant help it lar. All da pple around me have at least 1 digital camera. But I dun, so I have to get one. No more worries of borrowing from pple. I have my own. Ssssh.. dun tell this my 2 younger siblings. They do not know I have bought a digicam. I cant let them know yet. Cumbersome la if they happen to know; my bro wanna touch, my sis also wanna touch then da digicam dropped, spoil / cannot be used... I will CRY!!! Da brand's Sony DSC S500 Cyber-Shot, 6.0 Mega-pixels, 25 MB Internal Memory, 512 MB Memory Card.
Lol!! At last!!! A digicam for myself. I know, its sounds very pathetic but who cares?!

I kept wondering will I ever meet someone or will I get married? That IS da most avoidable question in my life right now. A few of my friends (those not very close to me) asked me, "Are u not stressed tat u have no bf till now?" I immediately said NO.So many incidents happening around me or in front of my eyes makes me think that marriage is not as important as before. And so many divorces happening. I just wonder why they get married in the 1st place!! I can say that adults at my age are already married and I noticed that majority of those married are younger than 25!!! I dun deny tat I would love to get married, I mean who doesnt? (Although I am still in a dilemna whether to marry or vice versa) Marriage is a lifetime commitment of being together with sumone u really love da rest of ur life, have fun and share da sorrows together. However .... Am I prepared for it? THE REAL THING. Some married ones would say, "its not easy as it may seems." In terms of financial, emotions....etc etc. Am I sure that da man I am gonna marry will be da one who will be da REAL one? Hmmm..... I am happy da way my life is right now, though I would wish to have my own kids...Maybe its fated that I would remain single forever? Maybe I am fated to see my other friends, (including B & J) walked down da aisle and not me.... God knows...... However, how would life be after marriage? I am back after 2 weeks of "disappearing" acts.
Well, here are some quick updates..
9th April - I have a new colleague, doing patent application. She was from D & N. She is sumone's best friend (Some of da hapyhadys will know who is da sumone. heehee *winkz*)
10th April - One of da lawyers' secretary had bought gifts and a card for ELK's departure. We had shared $$ among ourselves to buy something for him. Well, only 2 or 3 staffs who REALLY HATES ELK for I DO NOT WHAT REASON didnt contribute any $$. As for me, of coz I contribute. I dun even care how much as long as I contribute coz if it wasnt for ELK, I wont get this job and if it wasnt for him, I wont get $1, 600 salary after my 3 months probation. I know da big boss wont give very high increment but he will if da head of each and every dept convinces him that a particular staff can deliver da job well and/or with no bad working attitude such as coming late, talking on da handphones, etc.
11th April - At approximately 5.25 pm, only Kak SM and I went in to ELK's room to hand over da gifts to him. Da rest who contributed were kinda fearful. Hah. I understand why. ELK neva smile. He looks very strict. When pple makes him happy, he still didnt smile. If he wants to, he will give a force smile. Well, thats his character. Maybe he finds it comfortable that way, so whats there to be fearful abt? When he accepted da gifts from us, I witnessed his BEST SMILE EVER and said, "Thank you." I was just too happy to see that BEST BIG SMILE on his face that I couldnt even replied, "Welcome." So I just nodded my head with a grateful smile.
12th April - Took leave, because of exams. My Year 1 exam. It shld be REUNIT (failed twice and then retaking it again) but I was shocked to see da status read as, "FRESH" ! (1st time taking da exam) Cool! No need to pay extra charges.. Hahaha..I didnt even alert da sch coz I felt that I was overpaid for da course. Total course fee is S$25,200!! Now, I heard da fee for da same course is S$10,800 to S$12,500!! MORE THAN HALF!!! So, I am gonna keep it a hush-hush abt da examination status. Heeh.. Da paper was OK. Hope to nail it this time.
13th April - Fri, da 13th. ELK choose this date to leave D & B. His last day should be on 30th April (thats what they said) but he chose to leave early. Maybe he offset his leave? It was rather sad to hear him leave. ELK was in charge for TM & Patent Dept and now that he had left, LST took over.
16th April - Kak PS' last day. So, da new colleague, Kak AH who came in on 9th April, will be taking over Kak PS' portfolio.
19th April - I have no idea why all of a sudden without any topic, EA came up to me and imposed me this question (already translated to english), "MBS, u dun wish to get out from here and look for other jobs?" I was astonished! I didnt expect her to ask me that question! I know she has problems with work. Lawyers kept pushing her to expedite with da work and she also did mention she wanna resign but she cant ask me to resign too! I mean, it is really up to her. If she wants to resign, go ahead. She worked in D & B longer than me if she wanna resign, be it.. But why impose that question to me? She wanna me to leave as well?
Well, for da ardent readers of my blog, u may have read that I wanna resign and look for other jobs before. Thats because I just couldnt take da politics. I wanna leave coz I cant stand with all those politics. I know, wherever u go, u can neva run away from politics. But I am DEFINITELY SURE D & B HAS DA WORST POLITICS EVER!
This was what I replied to EA, "I cant. My mum will create a BIG fuss." (Aint true but I cant say da truth - which I will write in da later para). EA frowned and inquired further, "How come?" I told her, "My mum said, 'DO NOT CARE ABT DA BONUS. GOT BONUS OR NO BONUS, THAT IS NOT IMPORTANT. WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT IS EVERY MONTH, U GET UR INCOME.' So being an obedient daughter, I listened to her."
EA didnt seem too happy with my answer. Maybe she knew I didnt give her a true answer. I CANT TELL HER DA TRUTH!! I WILL BE IN TROUBLE! I WANNA AVOID THAT. Da TRUTH IS...
I am drawing a monthly salary of $1,600. If I were to apply to other jobs, I have to find one that can offer me a higher pay than $1, 600 - which I really doubt so. Besides, if I were to look for other jobs and it didnt state what is da salary requirements, if I were to send my resume for their attention, they wont call me as I will put my 'expected salary' field to b $ 1700 to $1800, which is too high for some of da companies.
So I cant relate this to EA. There will be conflict and controversies.. NO WAY.. I know EA's personality. If she gets to know something, she will spread to da other staffs. If she got to hear "A" and she spreads da same thing, "A", it wont matter but she is da type who if pple tell her "A", she will spread to others, "B" >> i.e NOT TRUE FACT anymore! Thats why I dun even tell her anything personal abt myself. Let me just keep a low profile.

For da 2nd time in my life (how crummy), I went to da MediaCorp to watch da MUZIKA ESXTRAVANGANZA! Muzika Esxtravanganza is a musical event featuring artistes both from S'pore and across da causeway, M'sia.
I didnt buy da tickets. I got da tickets free.. How? Well, I have to reiterate: I am a HapyHady, remember? So I got my tickets from HapyHadys fan club. In what way? Well, I rather not say.
Da HapyHadys who attended this event to show their love and support for HADY MIRZA are (If I know their names, I'll write their names, if not, I'll just write their username in da forum) Amyria(that's me), Liza (know her b4 joining HapyHadys), Liza's younger sis (same age as my younger sis), Dewi (same age as my younger sis too), Khairil, iidah95, Azizah, Azizah's friend, Dila, Dila's bro (well, he isnt a HapyHady, she just brought him there), Kak Rinie, who came with her family, Kak Ogy, with her 3 kids, Kak Noris and daughter, Iffaah, Feza, Liya, Nis, Adliana, Lynn, Kak Noraini, Seth, Fikq, Nora, SV, Ria with her cousin, and not forgetting our president and founder of www.hady-mirza.com/forum -the site where HapyHadys met virtually and gave views on da topics posted >> Mr Anthony Ong!
While at da reception, artiste that I happen to bump into: HYRUL ANUAR, FAUZIE LAILY, my ex-junior from Informatics, NURHUDA, AKHMAR, SHAH ISKANDAR and EFFENDY!!! Liya cried when Fauzie Laily waved at her.. Well, too excited I guess. There's more of them later in this entry. Read on first abt others k.
Also guess who I chance on at da reception? ANURA!! and NASHRIQA!! Didnt expect them to go for da event too. But she cant sit with me coz MediaCorp has allocate seats to da HapyHadys.. :(

Oh before I continue, let me tell u abt my grandma. As always, she didnt allow me to go on this kind of events (if it is at nite - like duh.. these kind of events are always at nite!!). I slow talk to her saying that its free ticket, it would be a waste not t make use of it. B4 she agreed, she yakked, (translate to English) "Since when u are this fanatik?! Last time u were not like that? But nowadays what happen? I know u love to sing but u neva go to da extent to watch it LIVE or watever.. But nowadays.. I was abrupted." My irritating younger sis added, "Aiyah, granny becoz of Hady la! If no Hady u think she wanna go?!" Grr!!!!
Nevertheless, my grandma agreed but . . . (will let u know what happen later on)
Since we got special seats allocated to us, we were seated b4 anyone else.. Wahahaha.. We werent in da center but still we were sure da limelight of that show!! We kept screaming upon hearing da name, HADY MIRZA!! Hahaha.. Even da voice over man who greeted us at 8.20pm, i.e b4 da show starts at 8.30pm, know us as da HapyHadys! From da banner, I guess. He mentioned HapyHadys too and as usual, our craziness, we screamed!!
Da hosts for da show were Nurulhuda from M'sia (Nurul M) and Nurulaini from S'pore (Nurul S) - Cant they find some other Sporean hosts? Like da legendary Rahimah Rahim, Cik Sal Boleh (Era Farida?) or whoever la... Why Nurul? She is already too famous lah.
Anyway, we enjoyed ourselves especially da comedy skit by Abon (M'sia) and Suhaimi Yusof (S'pore) and as they always say, 'Save da Best for da Last.' B4 da last few peformances, da 2 Nuruls made an intro.
Nurul S: Now we will erupt da stage with da next performances.
Nurul M: Hold on, how many Richter Scale do u think will da screams be?
Nurul S: I think da Richter Scale will bring da 'tsunami' to us.
Nurul M: Oh please, I dun want Singapore and Malaysia to experience another 'tsunami.'
Nurul S: But with them around, I'm sure there will be 'tsunami'.
(Those of u who watched Muzika Esxtravanganza last nite, did u hear our screams?)

Also, while Hady was singing, I was pretty sure, screams of HapyHadys were heard? *big smile*
Da show ended. One by one guests went out of da auditorium. They are Era Farida (she waved at us), Sujimy Muhamad, Huda, Akhmar, Effendy, Shah, Hyrul and Fauzie. All waved at us. Khairil, shouted "Akhmar, I love you." Akhmar was kinda shocked. Then Dewi also joined in, "Fauzie, I love you." Fauzie just smiled and gesture a thanks..
We were back at da reception at 10.45pm or 10.50pm. We saw Sujimy Muhammad at da reception and said "Hi" to us, with a gesture, "Whats up brother?" >> His fav line in his variety show, Santai, which no longer aired in Suria 2 weeks ago. We just laughed.
While waiting for my parents to fetch me, da HapyHadys took a group photo. Then we went our separate ways. Some of them were still at da reception hoping that Hady Mirza passed by and snapped a picture or two. But as usual, all becoz of my grandma I cant be late so I had to go first. Still, I was having MSN session with one of them this aftnoon and he mentioned that they didnt get a chance to take pics with Hady coz Hady went out from a different gate..
Back home, my grandma pulled a long face. She lectured and lectured and lectured. She gabbed that I was kinda cheeky to go for this kind of shows. She continued gabbing that da performances were not nice.. dun understand what songs they were singing bla bla and bla. She added gabbing that I was just wasting my time to go to MediaCorp just to watch a boring show. Duh... I had told her nicely, "so whats if its boring? got free ticket wat?" but how could she say, "Becoz da show no good la thats why got free tickets!" I was tempting to say that da free tickets are only meant for da fan club - HapyHadys, but just forget it la if not more controversies.
So, next show will be APM - Anugerah Planet Muzik - equivalent to Emmy Music Awards. Not sure if it will held in Spore but if it is, will I still try to request for a free ticket knowing my grandma is like that? Sigh..I already told Dewi that my grandma will lecture and I cant endure it but she begged me to go and besides, like I said, it will be a waste if da free ticket is not usable.

1st April - april fools day
In da morning, I went for Mandarin lesson. Da lesson getting more and more hard to cope. But I'll try. Then in da aftnoon, I headed down to Jurong East Entertaiment just to see da Suria Anugerah 2007 auditions. Some can sing. Some cant sing but try to sing. Some really cannot sing. Hahaha..

After that, I headed down to Taman Jurong for tuition. Nope, I didnt go for tuition, I teach tuition. While I was tutoring, a sms came from He Wei, my classmate. "Exam results is out. Check it at IVC."
I remembered that it was 1st April so I thought that sms meant to be an April joke BUT I switched that thinking off coz I was too anxious to know abt my results. As I had blogged in January, I took leave for my exams which is on da 9th and 10th Jan. I did also mention that those 2 papers are killing papers. Hence, da reason y I am so anxious to know.
Guess what?
I passed one. I failed one. DAMN IT!! If I were to fail it at a 4o to 44 (45 is passing mark), I wouldnt be so pissed BUT I failed very badly!! I got a 31!! I just cannot believe it!!
Da next day, as usual normal working day, I dun feel like working. My mind was brooding over da matter. I need to take that subject again before I can really graduate. Oh bother! I think I have to switch off for that for a while and concentrate on my REUNIT subject. I am taking that subject for April's exam on 12th April (already applied leave). I have to pass this time or I dun know what else to say.
An outing before my exam
One of da HapyHadys, Dewi (abt da same age as my younger sis, Atikah) won 2 free tickets to MUZIKA EXTRAVANGANZA and she wants me to tag along. Sure thing! At least something for me to cheer up on b4 da exams..
MUZIKA EXTRAVANGANZA - Here I come. More precise is, HADY MIRZA - Here I come.. :D
