P/S: I AM NOT WORKING TMR!!! MY FIRST SAT OFF!!! Hooray!!!
nothingness...
at this present time, there isn't much i can tell abt my life..mainly because everything is roughly da same. I wake up at da same time, i do da same old routine. Da only thing tat changes is perhaps, my mood which isn't too good lately. I have been having a few thoughts in my head which never seem to go away..instead, they hide in the corners n unknown crevices of my silly brain n only appear when i'm trying to get some sleep.
He's going for reservist.. Yup, B is going for reservist and will b back on 22nd July. Will miss all our lunch appointments.. I can sense tat he is trying to hint something to me.. Whenever we went for lunch, he always made an effort to walk beside me and very close to me till I can feel his body touching mine..
I dun wish to think much.. Like I'd stated.. I let nature takes its course.. Oh, b4 I logged off.. A few more additional info >> He escorted me frm work to sch!!! I really think he is hinting something to me.. One final info >> He will be going for reservist training for 3 weeks... He smsed me in Chinese characters (he told me to ask my chinese teacher for da translation) - One day didnt c u seems separated for 3 years.. My chinese teacher didnt suspect anything but she told me tat when a person misses someone.. da sentence is a perfect one to be used.. *eyes rolling* dun tell me . . .

Aft work yestday, I waited for JS (she decided to join us at da last min) and J and we headed off to wait for JY, B and Karen(she quit on 31st May to pursue for her degree studies in Nayang Academy of Fine Arts) at Somerset MRT. PW cant make it at da last min. So, still there were 6 of us.
We had lunch at da Orchard Emerald food court. We reached SunLite PartyWorld KTV at Level 5 Cuppage Plaza 15 mins late. It shld be 2pm to 6pm, but becoz we were late, its 2.15pm to 6pm. Didnt get to sing much. :( They did most of da singing. I sang quite a number of songs too like, NOT A GIRL, NOT YET A WOMAN, EVERYTIME, FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY BROKEN HEART. (sing solo) MY HEART WILL GO ON, FIXING A BROKEN HEART, DANCING QUEEN and BECAUSE U LOVED ME (sing together with JS), SOMETIMES (sing together with Karen).
Da rest are all Mandarin songs. Hmm, B's voice not bad. His singing is not bad too. Well, basically all our voices and singing is NOT THAT BAD.. At least, we can sing!! Hahaa.. I did sing one Mandarin song with J. Coz I cant read da Chinese character. I knw da lyrics so I juz sing. Its LAU SHU AI DA MI.. Hah.. There was another Mandarin song - my fav song - chosen by B (B doesnt knw tat I like tat song, he chose it coz he wants to sing it). Tat Mandarin song is TONG HUA by GUANG LIANG. A song abt love is not a fairy tale. I had alrdy hold da mike wanting to start to sing da part but Karen asked me to hand over da mike to her coz she wants to sing tat song as tat is da only chinese song she got to knw of and she knws how to sing it.. ARGH!!! So, Karen and B sang TONG HUA together while da four of us sat down and so called relax..
Oh, u muz b wondering tat I did mentioned tat I cant read chinese character but for tis song.. I knw da lyrics.. frm start to bottom.. so i wanted to sing wholeheartedly.. Sigh.. Its OK.. Still have more karaoke activities to come.. :)
Aft our karaoke.. 3 of them (JS, JY and Karen) decided not to join us for our evening activities coz JS - she's 7 months pregnant - will be waiting for her husband to pick her up to have dinner with in-laws. JY and Karen wished to go for some shopping spree. So left da 3 of us >> B, J and myself to discuss our evening activity..
While discussing B mentioned tis, "2day we got no chance to duet. I only duet wif all of them but wif u no chance." He shooked his head in dissappointment. Hmm...
We had decided our evening activity and we headed off to MARINA SQUARE. I had been to MARINA SQUARE b4 it was renovated. Aft renovation, I had neva been there until yestday when they decided to have a game of bowling... But, omg!!! Wat a lot of pple at da SuperBowl!! We asked if they had any vacant alley. Sigh.. None.. fully booked.. We had to wait for one hour. One hour!!! So, B and I asked J if she minded playing pool. She didnt mind so we went next door. SuperPool.. We had a game of pool!! My fav!!!
Both of us guide/teach J on da procedures of pooling game. Not bad for first time player! She even beat me!!! B came on emphasizing tat I am da expert. In da end, he won most of da game!! Still he insisted on declaring tat I am da expert. *eyes rolling*
Aft pooling, we went to BK for dinner. While having dinner, I asked J how she find playing pool. She exclaimed, "very fun." Great! We can play again. Haha.. :D
Really had fun today. Tis is da first time I went out with colleagues.. :) I thanked my rezeki for getting tis job and meet many great and amazing colleagues like them..
Tmr, back to work and will only get to lunch with B and da rest for da whole week starting tmr coz he had to go reservist da week aft next.. for three (3) weeks.. I think it's OK coz b4 he asked me out for lunch, I went out for lunch with BB, sometimes with EA, Kak ZA and Kak SM, so i dun think it will be a BIG problem to me.

For 2 weeks in a row (frm June 13 till today - n perhaps tmr), I went out lunch with B... Well, tat was becoz he invited me for lunch. I cldnt possibly said NO. However, we didnt lunch together, we brought some company.
14 JUNE was his 26th birthday and he gave us (me n Abg Sufian) a treat at BK!! Tats pretty nice of him to treat a newcomer (me - tat is) for a BK meal. Aft lunch, my other colleague, EA spotted us and she was frowning in wonder. Back in office, EA asked me y was I with Abg Sufian n B.. I told her tat I went out lunch with them n B gave both of us a treat coz of his birthday. She didnt suspect anything.
15th June, again da same 3 pple have lunch with additional person, J. PW cant had lunch with us coz she was buying back n wld like to stay in office to finish up some work. So, da four of us had lunch at LAU PA SAT. Aft lunch, EA asked me with whom I had lunch with. I told her frankly coz she is abt my age (2 years my senior), so I can relate to her more. Unlike those aunties and sisters who are over da age of 30 and married - their mindset will probably b different. So, I told EA tat I had lunch with Abg Sufian, B and J. She exclaimed, "Aku dah agak dah si B tu mesti ada. R u hiding something frm me?" I then, gave her a sheepish smile. Oops!! She had suspected something.
So, i told her. I told her abt PW told me tat B wants to get to knw me etcetra n etcetra. Oh boy! EA was damn excited!!! I was like, "aku takde apa2 pun..tak excited pun, alih2 dia (EA) leh excited ni.."
Da funny thing is, she told me this >> "Aku rasa kau ada jodoh dgn dia" I was dumbfounded upon hearing tat!!! Boy, was she very sure of tat!! Well, I am not rushing into things. I'll let nature takes its course.
On 16th June, J was on MC and PW had brought food frm hm so left 3 of us again >> me and my 2 heroes (one is married and one is single) for lunch at LAU PA SAT, again . . . On da way to office, we met EA and another colleague, Kak SD. I dun think Kak SD wld have suspected anything. In fact, during lunch, I did inform Abg Sufian abt we having lunch together and he told me not to care abt wat pple said. Its a FREE world, we can have lunch with whoever we want. He then asked me.. "Bila adik sign contract kerja (Contract of Employment), ada tak tertulis, adik tak leh lunch dgn sesiapa di D & B?" I shocked my head. So, tat explains it.
Today (19th June), surprisingly and coincidently Ainn was on leave and went to da CPF Head office for something and she knws tat I worked around tat area so she gave me a call. Her call was 10 mins late. Y? Well, B msged me asking me out for lunch again.. Her purpose of calling was to ask if we cld lunch together.
Sure, no prob was wat I told her and I asked her if she mind my colleague(s) joining along. She was OK with it. So, 2day.. I introduced Ainn to B and J. B and J r quite friendly with Ainn. They did most of da talking!! Great!! Ainn then msged me secretly this, "Is he da one u mentioned to me? Tat chinese colleague who wants to knw u more?" I replied to her sms >> YES. I can see tat she was smiling when reading tat msg. She whispered to me, "he's not bad." *eyes rolling* Oh c'mon! I wish to concentrate on da more impt things first then den we will talk abt tis guy-gal r/s later.
Hmm.. wonder where we will go tmr and on our next subsequent lunch. Oh, EA said to me in a joking manner. "Hari-hari la kau lunch dgn B tu melainkan dia atau kau on leave or MC." (It will b an everyday routine of u and B having lunch unless one of u r on leave or MC.)
We'll c how tmr.. *yawn*

On 7th June, I finished work and left da office which was located on 16th floor, took da lift. Da lift stops at 15th floor and coincidently B stepped in. We smiled at each other. When we were at da basement floor, I started da conversation with him first. // Pls dun get da wrong meaning. I am not desperate for a love life or a bf. I am doing so as in my opinion, he wants to get to knw me becoz he is sociable and friendly to everyone and I shld not read too much into this as it is juz an office interaction with and among colleagues. // We juz had a chit-chat and I found out he is staying somewhere in Woodlands, Admiralty MRT station. He is 26 this year. Didnt get a chance to ask for his birthday. Haha. Finally, he asked if we could exchange hp numbers. Well, I reckon tat it is not a problem at all, so we did juz tat! :)
PW, me and him went for lunch on 8th June. (Oh it was Shirin Hushairi's bday!!) This time, me and him had begun to talk a lot and joke too!! He knws bowling and pool!! He loves to karaoke too!!! :)
2day, da 13th day of month of June of year 2006, B invited me for lunch!!! I replied to his sms and asked him tis, "who else is joining?" Da purpose of me asking him tat is becoz I dun want to eat lunch together with him, (well, I knw its OK - but who knws some of our kepo colleagues (esp those on 16th floor) saw us, they may think B and me r on a date)
His reply released my tensioness. So, 2day da 3 of us (myself, B and Sufian - another colleague of mine who calls me 'adik' everytime @ work. Heh.. Am I tat young?) went for lunch @ LAU PA SAT.
U muz b wondering y was his reply released my tensioness? Well..2's a couple, 3's a crowd, isnt it? Da lunch time will not look as if me and B r on a date coz we had company!! Haha.. Hmm.. Abg Sufian is quite friendly and a movie freek!!
Yup, I addressed him as Abg Sufian as he's alrdy married and he addressed himself as "abang" to me and he even calls me 'adik'! 1 thing I found out frm Abg Sufian.. his wife used to work together with him!! I didnt get to knw his wife coz his wife had quit in January, whereas in mid March, I joined in and sat @ his wife's desk! How ridicule...
24 JUNE... its our SINGING DAY!! Me, PW, J, JY and B will be going to KTV for a karoake session!!! Cant wait for tat.. Let's do a countdown, shall we? 11 days to go.

Me not knwing how to cook n other pple make a big fuss abt it? Tis worries my mum as well as my grandma!! They do not want those pple to think tat becoz they didnt guide me well in housework chores/cooking etc. Its NOT their fault, its MINE. I am da stubborn one who didnt want to learn cooking and do I knw housework?
NO. U read it rite: NO. I am absolutely clueless abt housework chores! I kid u not. I remembered tat last year, I humiliated myself in front of da younger ones. I tend to get "gabra" whenever i did things so it spills. I was helping myself to pour a glass of juice getting ready for Ramadhan and someone was beside me offering a "Korma" and I was kinda nervous or like wat I had said "gabra", da whole juice spills on da table.
It was a humiliating incident!! My face was red!! I had vowed tat it will not happen in da same plc again but i was wrong.. it happen again! Da first time, was even more humiliating!!! >> Kopek sengkuang pakai jari instead of using da knife. Since tat incident, i told myself, i'm not going to be involved or helping out in any cooking session at da plc anymore...but da spilling of juice happen!! Argh!!!
At home, I kept up with da constant nagging frm both my mum n grandma.. Bingit!! Bingit!! Bingit!! My mum said, "Wats da use if U r a degree holder but dun knw how to cook, do housework etc." Duh..
My grandma kept on saying like, "No wonder u trouble urself to study this n that..u want to prevent frm doing housework!" I am not preventing myself frm doing housework..I am making use of my valuable time.
Those words above r still replaying in my ears. Sigh... sickening la! If in da future, u were to go n find a job, will there b a question, "Do u knw how to cook?" in da application form? Will there b a question, "How far u knw ur housework chores?" in da application form? I DUN THINK SO!! So, y make such a fuss abt it?!!
Actually there's sumthing personal tat i am considering whether to blog abt it or not. I reckon, mayb becoz of tis, my grandma always said those things other than da above mentioned words. She always babit one name. If she babit tat name, its Ok though but she always add tis, "U will become a non-virgin or pregnant coz tat one name will rape U when tat one name is drunk."
She said when pple drunk, they tend to do stupid, dirty or sinful things.. they will not knw whether it is their family or best friend or whoever coz they're alrdy drunk..
Who is tat one name i am toking abt? I dun knw whether to blog anot.. I have to think of da consequences.. Tat one name is no other pple... Tat one name was once a family (yup, past tense).
Let me think abt it whether to blog abt tis personal thing or not.. But here's a clue to wat I wanna write.. My Binte name is different frm Khalid n Atikah. Both of their names ended wif a Bin and Binte Sa'at respectively whereas mine isnt.
So, there u go.. Shld knw by now who i want to blog abt. And y was it got to b related wif my grandma saying those words to me. But den again, I'll have to think twice b4 blogging abt tis.. U may not knw of da consequences..inconvenience caused..

P/S: Abt my grandma again.. tmr Indu will be having a bbq. It will b our last get together as she will b leaving SG for Australia for 3 years. The BBQ is gonna b held at Pasir Ris Park and of coz I dun knw how to get there hence I went with my former schmates/classmates of Informatics. Only Mulyadi (he's alrdy back in SG!! He has graduated frm RMIT!! Next year, will b my turn INSYA-ALLAH) is coming so I make up an appointment wif him HOWEVER, my grandma insisted me either to, 1) go alone or 2) dun go for da BBQ!!! Y? She said, "U and him go there together? If pple we knw saw u.. they will say a lot of things!!"
Oh watever. . . . Me and Mulyadi r juz classmates and schmates during our Advanced Diploma days, nothing more than tat!! Adi, if u r reading tis, go ahead and laugh ok. I admit, my grandma still treats me like a kid! So tmr, u dun sit close to me or try to b near me okie? Hehehe.. *winkz*

First, I am contented & shocked when I read da letter at home. Contented because I am now a permanent full time job holder. Shocked because of "your salary will be increased to .... per month."
According to da CONTRACT OF APPOINTMENT which I had duly signed on 17th March 2006 (my 1st day of work), I was paid $1,100 during 3 months probation and aft confirmed, I am paid $1,200 per month.
Tat was da reason y I was shocked! Da letter of confirmation didnt state "your salary will be increased to $1,200 but .... " I was really surprised!!! Wat a shocking increase in da salary!!!
Sorry I cant tell u da exact salary because it stated PRIVATE & CONFIDENTIAL but I can give u a clue. My salary increased has hit more than da $1500 mark but dun worry, it has not hit $2,000.
I didnt knw if tats da standard salary but one of my colleague, EA (she is a very honest lady, she tells me everything) told me her salary aft confirmation is $1,200 per month. I assumed everyone in da firm has da same salary.
As a clerk, i shld be earning da same same amt as EA. Hmm..is it because of my qualifications? I heard & understand tat DIPLOMA holder earned at least $1,500. Maybe my extremely salary increment is due to tat? Or maybe...
Remember my entry dated 31st May, I blogged abt Bun, a stray cat in my neighbourhood areas who passed away as a result of an accident and upon hearing da news, I tried to cry but I cant coz I was in da office? Da letter of confirmation is dated 31st May!! Wat a coincidence!!
Like wat my grandma said, "Berkat & rezeki kau nangis pasal terlalu sayang dgn binatang kesayangan Nabi Muhammad. Alhamdullilah."
As u knw since August 2004, I donated $25 per month to SPCA. Now, I am going to increase it to $52 per month and also wld like to donate for Cat Welfare Society too. :)
P/S: I HAVE WATCHED X-MEN 3 THE LAST STAND!!! IMPRESSIVE!!! AWESOME!! U will REGRET IF U DIDNT CATCH IT.. Next movie i am thinking of watching is, SILENT HILL & GARFIELD 2. :)
