24 November 2006, went all da way to Punggol for HapyHadys gathering. Yup, a gathering for all Hady Mirza's fans. They are called HapyHadys. Our gathering was at Blk 644 Rooftop. .

24 November was MY FIRST TIME EVER BEEN TO PUNGGOL, da FURTHEST place I'd been so far. And da place wasnt exactly near Punggol mrt!! From Punggol MRT, we had to take LRT to Kandaloor, that's 4 stops away!! Damn!! Very far.. *Y in da world Hady moved to that far?*

When we reached there, I felt goosebumps.. Da place looks so eerie.. Not many pple on sight. We went in search of Blk 644- da rooftop of a carpark. Hady stays on 13th floor at one of a particular blks there. One of his neighbours, stays on 5th floor, also a HapyHady and also at da gathering with her two kids.

We had fun. I ate da satay - Specially delivered FROM Hady's dad stall!! I ate that together with whatever food is there.. Hungry ah.. Da satay is yummy.. *thumbs up*

I did mention in da first paragraph that Hady came to our gathering. Well, that came as a surprise coz we didnt expect him to come. We know as a recording artiste, he is super busy with rehearsals and etcetra so we didnt pin on hopes that he will come. He indeed came with his dearest MUM, nephew and 2 aunties.

His mum is very friendly. She addressed herself as Bonda - I think that's what I heard (Bonda is mum in malay) to all of us. Hmm, among all da female HapyHadys which one Bonda deems fit to be da 'daughter-in-law'. LOL.. *dream on, Amy Maria*

I didnt get da chance to talk to her. So many HapyHadys wanna talk to her. When she saw me, we both smiled at each other and only shake hands. Oh, Hady's nephew - Imran Mirza - is sooooo cutteeee.. I carried da boy but damn! Forget to get a HapyHady to take a pic of me and da nephew!! *knocks head*

Sumone I know was also at da gathering. She is none other than LIZA!! Well, it was a last minute decison for her. She told me, her friend - Nina - dragged her to da gathering. Great.

I wld like to strike a conversation with each and every HapyHadys but I cant possibly did that coz there are just too many of them there!! And it looks like most of them have know one another b4 da gathering. So I kinda felt left out but still I hanged around with those who went to da Manja autograph session. Yup, they were there as well and so I just chat with them and eat.

How do we know of Hady's appearance? Well, we heard screams!! And we rushed to see what was happening and OMG!! HADY!! All eyes focussed on Hady. We had a Q and A session with Hady!! His fav soccer team is MANCHESTER UNITED!!! Argh!! Y Manchester?!! Y not Liverpool or any other teams?! I HATE MANCHESTER UNITED. Y Hady?! Y is it that whatever I hate, u like? Argh!!!

Overall, I had fun. Oh, forgot to state my curfew time. Well, hahaha.. As usual, I have to be home b4 da curfew time of 11pm (this time it was extended juz for this gathering as I told them it was at Punggol!) However still, I reached home at 11.57.32 pm!!! And guess what?! Yeah.. U r right!! Nagging time.. Nag, nag and nag.. *roll eyes* I reached home just slightly before 12 midnite.. not exactly at 12 midnite..still make noise.. Sigh

I shld be at hm yestday. I shld.. I shld.. I shld.. Mandarin lesson can postpone next week.. But fate cant be postponed...

My grandfather has passed away yestday aftnoon. I wasnt there when he held his last breath. I received this shocking news da moment I finished my Mandarin class. I had my lunch aft that. Aft my lunch, I went to sch to do some revision for my degree subject. I wanted to spent revision time for 1 hour but I only spent 10 mins revising!! Da minute I received da call, I cried for another 5 mins in da study room and I rushed out of da sch and I quickly walked as fast as I cld. I want to go home!!!

While in da bus, tears still flow down my cheeks. I sms to all my close contacts, Faridah, Rosliah, Bob, Nazrul, Suresh, Ainn, Seri, RizaR & Hasniza (err, not that close but we have each others' contacts), BB (my colleague), Dira, Ayu, Muneerah, Alice, Hidayah, Hanim, 2 or 3 HapyHadys and 1 or 2 WESSC volunteers.

I cldnt believe sumone dear to me had gone. From GOD we arrive to this world, to GOD we returned. I knw but there was sadness in me due to some reasons..

I WASNT THERE WHEN HE MENTIONED MY NAME!! HE MENTIONED ALL OUR NAMES (those immediate family). I WASNT THERE. I felt guilty!!! I SHLDNT HAVE GO FOR MANDARIN CLASS!!!

Now, all is too late. Before I cld see him for da last time, he had passed away. I cried and cried. He didnt get to see me for da last time so was I.. I shldnt have gone for class. My grandma said to me that he called our my name several times and she kept answering da same thing, "She has gone for class, will be back in aftnoon." But wats done cant be undone...

Coincidently, I am ON LEAVE today and tmr. . . Donaldson does not have compassionate leave if grandparent passed away! I find it unfair!!

To Faridah, thanks for coming. Maybe Rosliah is coming tonite. To da rest of da names, I'd mentioned above, thanks for ur condolences msgs.. Sure, I'll be strong. Dun worry so much, I will be OK. To Bob, thanks for calling that day. I appreciate it. *smile*

Deep in my heart, there are still sadness. Before I cld repay him for what he had done for me, he had left this world (Remember, I did blog b4 abt my late grandfather aft selling his flat, he gave me $10, 000 to me for degree course payment). I have promised that aft I have completed my studies, I will be fully concentrating on my work and I will give him lots of $$ montly. But now, its all TOO LATE.

It has been a long time since my last aperture. Been very busy with work and studies and of course chatting at da forum, www.hady-mirza.com/forum >> da new URL.

So many bunch of cool HapyHadys there.. Yippe... Oh, and an intruder strike my blog last week and I received a hatred tag from an anonymous intruder who wished to be known only as freaky. Wat a freaky fella!!

Give all sorts of negative comments in my tag and u knw wat? I actually raised this issue to da HapyHadys forum and THEY SUPPORT ME!!! Abt, 4 of them replied sarcastic tags back to da freaky fella.. LoL.. Serve freaky rite!!

Da rest of da HapyHadys did read my tag and they gave me a PM (Private Message) via forum asking me to ignore da childish comments made by freaky. HapyHadys must support one another!!!

Also, dun think I am stupid.. My tagboard can capture IP address. Hence, freaky and da jejaka is of da same person!! Coz of da IP address. Da IP address is da same!! I study computer.. It will be a waste if I dun knw these simple things! So, I BANNED tat IP address frm tagging!! LoL.. Serve da fella rite!!

Read da newspaper on Tuesday, 14th November. WAT?!! GST will be increased to 7% next year?!! Well, its not a big and surprising news anyway. Coz I knw it WILL Increase but we juz dun knw when and there u go, da news has broken. Next year, GST will be 7%.

A lot of pple was unhappy abt this. Pple in my company.. They made a fush abt this. I mean WAT CAN THEY DO?! Sum even planned to migrate!! My goodness!! This is madness!! We are BORN SINGAPOREANS muz be PROUD TO BE A SINGAPOREAN.. All those GST increment juz dun take it seriously. If tats wat Government wants so be it.

Sum even comment this, "Ask our boss to increase our pay to 7% la if GST increase 7%" Heh. Wats up with tat? Increase 7% GST so wat?!! Solution: 1) BUY/SPENT LESS, 2) LOOK FOR A PART TIME JOB.

Y make so much noise. In da end, government will pay us back da $$. Remember Progress Package? Correct me if I'm wrong, I heard da Progress Package is frm our $$. See?!! At least government gives us a small amt of $$. Wat more do those pple want?

READ da above. I went for 3 shows in 1 day. Yup.. ALL in ONE day. All 3 shows FEATURING HADY MIRZA!!!!

It doesnt matter if it happens on da saturday where I have to work (I am working on alternate Saturday and since Oct 21 is Deepavali - public holiday, and it falls on my OFF, my OFF is brought forward to last week - 28 Oct)

Work or no work.. I WILL COME TO GIVE HADY MIRZA my full support.. I wasnt alone.. I joined da HADY MIRZA FANCLUB, remember? So I got an email notification frm the administrator, Anthony abt da above 3 shows. I replied to ask for his number in case I cant locate da plc..

Of coz I can locate da plc.. it is at TAKASHIMAYA S.C!!! I saw a huge crowd there. I see, it was da Subaru RX Challenge!! And I saw da stage!! I called Anthony to knw where are all da HapyHadys (da name for members of HADY MIRZA FANCLUB) gathered.

I saw them.. I recognized Anthony coz he was da one who sang "I'll Make Love to you" on stage on da 16 Sept Plaza Singapura rdshow. I approached them (yes, at tat time, there were 2 0f them - Anthony and MsNis) and intro myself as, 'amyria' (coz tats da name I registered in http://www.hady-mirza.com/forum/)

Meeting time: 2.30pm. Hady performed at tat stage in conjunction with da Subaru RX Challenge. He appeared at 3.30pm or so. While meeting for da rest of da HapyHadys, we sat down and bought Manja magazine at a smaller stage beside da Subaru RX Challenge stage. I bought a copy. Coz later at 4.30pm, there will be Manja autograph signing session.

Guess wat?

Since I arrived there at 1.30pm, I am in queue NO. 5!!! yES!!! Manja Autograph signing session only limited to First 50.. AND I WAS IN QUEUE NO. 5!!! OMG.. I felt very excited!!! Cant believe I will be able to meet Hady FACE TO FACE!!! Yahoo!!!

Queue No. 1 is of course, da administrator, No.2 da secretary (MsNis), No. 3 (adik Nur_Asirah), No. 4 (Adik Taufik), No. 5 (ME!!!) Da rest of da HapyHadys like Qing Yun (atomicfeel - her name in HapyHadys), Dila, Shaf, Nora, Michelle (minami - her name in HapyHadys) and 3 other malay gals came after queue No. 8.

Dira, was there too but not interested in da autograph.. juz wanna take pics only.. And we have HapyHadys very own photographer, uncle VE too - yup, da oldest HapyHadys among us all..very supporting. . .

We were concentrating hard on da contestants of Subaru RX Challenge as well as hearing da comments from two emcees, Flying Dutchman and Daniel Ong until WE DIDNT NOTICE HADY MIRZA WALKING TOWARDS DA BACKSTAGE.. We were near da backstage.. I heard some aunties calling out, "hey Hady!" I turned and OMG!! HE WAS THERE WALK STEADILY TOWARDS DA BACKSTAGE.. He noticed us and he waved at us.. OMG.. Swoon by him!!!! Da rest of da HapyHadys was like, "where did he come from?"

Time check. 3.40 pm.. Flying Dutchman and Daniel Ong mentioned, "Now, let's welcome our Singapore Idol.. HADY MIRZA!!" And they WE WERE SCREAMING AWAY!! Before he performed, he mentioned.. "I wld like to thank da HAPYHADYS for being here." We screamed even louder!!!

He sang, "You Give Me Wings" and "U've Got A Friend". His album will be out on 13 NOVEMBER.. Mark da date in ur calendar!!! Aft his performance, we went to da Manja autogragh booth and queue.. My heart kept beating and beating.. Very nervous as I was abt to meet him FACE TO FACE..

Time check. 4.30pm. We didnt need to wait for him for long.. He was ON TIME!! Tis is it!! Aft No.4, was my turn. Both of us said "HI" at da same time!! And both of us smiled at da same time!! I introduced myself to him, "I am Maria" Den we shake hands.. Aww... Finally.. I got to 'touch' his hands..

I turned to a page where I wanted him to sign.. He asked, "How to spell ur name?" I spelt it out for him. Here is his signature:



And guess what's next? Aft he signed, I asked him to post for a picture.. *big smile* yes.. a picture.. A nice one ... He is smiling at me!!! U can go ahead and be swoon and smitten by tat for all I care BUT let me inform u guys tHis, THAT WAS DA CLOSEST VIEW OF HADY MIRZA I GOT SO FAR!!! Soon, it'll be more closer.. Yeah.. a picture of only 2of us.. If tat happens, I WILL FRAME IT UP!!!



Aft tat, we headed off to Ang Mo Kio for Project Love concert. Performances by Hong Junyang (da fourth plc winner of Project Superstar) and of course, HADY MIRZA!!!

Over at Ang Mo Kio, we met more HapyHadys like Samantha, Iffaaaah, Fatimah and her sis and a group of mats and minahs.. As usual, while he was performing, we sang along.. For Project Love, he sang "Freedom", "Lagenda" and "You Give me Wings".

Aft his performance, we headed home but n0t before a speech by our PM Lee Hsien Loong.. Yes, Lee Hsien Loong.. Dun forget we were at Ang Mo Kio, he was MP for Ang Mo Kio.. Aft his speech, balloons with heart-shaped came pouring in and each of us took one..

I brought home "Hady's heart's" with me.. Heehee..



Today was definitely MY MOST HAPPIEST DAY!!! For da reasons: Meeting Hady FACE-TO-FACE, SHAKE HIS HANDS, TALK TO HIM AND HE SMILE FOR A PIC FOR ME.. Aww.. All this thanks to Anthony, da administrator of Hady Mirza Fanclub.. If it wasnt for u, I WONT GET TO SEE HIM LIVE AND FACE-TO-FACE!!! A million thanks.

I was present at the Jurong Pt roadshow featuring Top 4 Finalists Season 1 and Season 2. Boy.. What a huge crowd.. I could not get a closer glimpse at u..

It's OK. I believe I will be able to bump into u some day.. Anyway, I did pass something to Daniel Ong on my behalf since I cant go to the stage as I do not own a Sony Ericsson phone to redeem a poster for your autograph.. So, I passed those things to Daniel Ong. Those are for u..Not sure if he indeed pass them to u.

The two gifts which I pass to Daniel Ong for u are:
-1) A navy blue t-shirt with the words, "Get Me out From the Ball Park"
2) Bravery CD from Dira's cousin.. (Dira is my friend)
