Further to my entry of 23 January 2010, the boss has decided that he is willing to wait for me after I serve my one month notice.
So, that would mean, I GOT A NEW JOB. Or should I say career. I somehow had this gut feeling that this new job is the long term rezeki for me.
And look at the designation above. WOW! Begitunyer gah seh the post! Finally an "executive" post. Well, I have a degree...so degree holders must be an executive, right? Well, sort of la.
Hooray! Syukur Alhamdulillah. Allah has answered my prayers. I will work hard and strive a career path in that company, InsyaAllah.
I will be starting on 1st March. In the meantime, I have some homework to do. Yes, homework cum research. I have ZERO experience in H.R so I have to get the ball rolling by doing some research through M.O.M website. The company has foreign workers and I must know what to do and how to deal with them. *smiles*

I went for the above interview.
The boss is impress with my attitude and I nailed it. However, here are the main concerns:
1) Immediate post - within 2 weeks
2) Starting salary is $1650 for probation period
3) Working place is at Paya Lebar
4) My grandmother will NOT understand. All she wants is, 'new job which is nearer and better pay.'
So do I take it?
I want a job that relates to my course of study else my degree will be wasted. Yes, the job is challenging and it is a new experience for me. An opportunity NOT to BE Missed.
My mum said, "susah nak dpt org melayu kerja H.R." I replied, "susah nak dpt org melayu kerja MARKETING." I emphasise on the word MARKETING coz that's my field. I studied the background of H.R while in my Year 1. But my main focus is Marketing.
However, he wants me to let him know on Monday if I can leave ECSF less than a month, which I doubt so. Rules are rules. Standard procedures everywhere. ONE MONTH NOTICE. So, what I'll do is, on Monday, of coz I will NOT be stupid to really ask CTO (the HR personnel though her designation states Senior Secretary, I prefer to refer her as HR personnel) if I can leave early.. Remember my resignation is still pending... Any wrong move, that's it.
So, what will I tell him? I will call him on Monday and said this to him, "It is the company standard procedure to resign within 1 month and not two weeks. Else, I'd to pay back the company."
After I said that sentence, I'll see what he says. If indeed my rezeki is there, the boss will wait for one month. If my rezeki is not there but elsewhere, just be patient to find it, then it is okay. I did what I can.

Everyone asked me if I am still contacting my bf.. My answer is NO. He has stop contacting me. Reason? Like what his sister has told me upteenth times... He is immature.. He does not know what to do and why to do this or that and how to do this and that.. Another reason could be... His sister has returned from overseas and he somehow gives me space, perhaps..
So, he stop contacting me NOT because he wants a silent breakup. He is still a kid.. Does not know the adult way of doing things.. I dun blame him. I am not lonely. His sister can be my company, coz we're best friends.. and I know her more than my bf. I trust her more than my bf and she is smarter, wiser and more mature than my bf.
FYI... the ONE who wants to have a silent breakup is me. YES, is ME.. Whenever I was with him, I felt stress... At home.. I was stressed by my granny.. In the office, alot of work = stress. Then with him, double the stress! Very tiring la! He is so immature! I have to teach him this and that. I dun mind coz that was my ambition, being a teacher BUT he did not listen and learn. Worse, he didn't understand. I believe if I have my own kid, my kid will understand what I said more than him!
Ever since his sister returns, he didn't contact me. I AM SO HAPPY! I AM FINALLY FREE. However, he did once in a blue moon sms me BUT I did not reply. Why? I told U he is still a kid. He does not understand why he is in relationship. He is not an adult. Let me ask U... If U did not meet ur other half for more than a month coz u're busy, what will U sms him/her? My answer, "hello..u seems busy.. miss u etc etc.."
What did he sms me then? "U tgh uat per?" (what are u doing?) WHAT THE HELL?! That kind of sms is BUDAK-BUDAK nyer sms! I am not going to answer. Lucky that he did not bombarded me with heaps of smses. Then after a few weeks, the SAME sms again!
I told his sister and his sister advised me, "I told U.. He is a kid.. He does not know what he is doing. He does not know what is gf-bf or what is I Love U and stuff. Though he is 23, he is like a 6 yr old boy. Told U so."
And I believe her. I told her that I have hinted to him to look for some other gals. But he insisted not to leave me. A few of my friends said, "that means he loves U..." But his sister told me, "Ur friends do not know my bro. My bro will stick to one gal at a time and will find another one once that gal leaves him. He will never leave the gal, not becoz he loves the gal so much but it's coz he wants to show to his friends that he has a gf, get it?"
I believe her too coz I have experience it. He won't even allow me to talk to guys! There was once an occasion whereby he wanted to find a permanent job badly so that he can "marry me". I have a few contacts and got a lobang for him and so I told him. He did not want to call the number! Reason? He asked me how I know abt the lobang and I said from a friend. He was surprised that a lady friend working in that kind of environment and I honestly told him, is a male friend.
HE WAS ENRAGE! He asked me questions like how I know him blah blah blah and I scolded him and said, "Look, he was from the same sch as me. Even ur sister knows him." This was his childish remarks, "So? Why are u still contacting him? U are my gf.. Once u got bf, cannot contact other guys.. Why u still contact him, wanna be with him?" *slaps forehead*
Oh dear! Childish? Or possesive? How do I answer? Well, according to what his sister told me, "Kids.. they are afraid of threats. So just threaten him and he will be quiet."
So, I did just that. I scolded him and should he dare create such a scene and got angry due to petty matters, I will tell his sister and I will leave him, change number etc etc.. He then keep quiet and behaved.
His sister is back so I am somehow save. He didn't contact me, he didn't know how is the perfect sms to sms me.. I dun care.. Being with his sister is the best. I learnt alot from her and she can help me solve problems unlike him. However, the main concern now is... his sister will be going back to overseas sometime in March and I believe once his sister is gone, he will start contact me but I no longer have feelings for him coz it has faded.. for more than a month. So this is what I am gonna do..
CHANGE MY CONTACT NUMBER. Do U know that he has been testing my number? Well, like I told U.. I never reply to his childish smses like, "U tgh uat per?" I NEVER. So, once in awhile he made the effort to give me a miss call of only a few seconds... like u know.. after u dial the number and u hear the first ring.. u put down the phone.. something like that. He did that to make sure that I am still using the number la. so, that's why I wanna change contact number to prevent him from contacting me in future should his sister return to overseas.
(my contract ends soon, so it is soon.. very soon)
Another main concern is he knows my workplace... he can just come over. Well, I will call 999 if he tries something funny.. I am not going to care. I layan him because he is my best friend's younger bro and I expect him to be as mature, as wise and as smart as his sister but he is not. So BYE BYE.
Last but not least.. It is also for the sake of my dear grandmother that I decided to have a silent breakup with him. My grandmother has disapprove him from the start. Reason? Because he is younger than me and she suspects that he is only after my $$.
As for now, I want to lead my own simple life. To be with my friends who are of the same frequency as me.
