This SONG IS SPECIALLY DEDICATED TO HADY MIRZA on his 2007 birthday bash and This SONG IS COMPOSED and [if coz the HapyHadys sang it for Hady's birthday but orginally] SANG by.. hmm.... Well, the HapyHadys tau siapakah dia... *winkz*) (additional note: THIS SONG IS A MUST IN MY HANDPHONE, IS A MUST IN MY WORK'S PC, IS A MUST IN MY LAPTOP AND IS A MUST IN MY MP4!! *winkz*) This song is NUMBER ONE..NOT because of the male singer in that song (tongue lashing :P) but because of Hady.. He did mention if he wins Asian Idol, he will be an inspirational one. Well, because this song motivates him to be inspiration not only to his fans but also to the Asians and because of that, the Asians decided to crown him THE FIRST ASIAN IDOL. Hady's journey is HapyHadys' Journey too.. Though I cant be there at most events, my heart is.. :) Oh well, FYI.. there's just too many songs and I have problem charting them. So, those songs above made it to MY LIST. If you are in my friendster list, the songs playing are my top songs for the year 2007 BUT I cant find a few songs so I inserted those songs which is out of the list (cannot make it to top 40) And yesterday was the most remarkable day of my life, I can say. He was crowned Singapore Idol in the year 2004 and FINALLY AFTER 3 years, I got to take a picture WITH HIM!! He was nice... Very friendly and randomly asked, "Apa khabar?" I answered, "Baik. Alhamdullilah." He continued, "Dah makan?" Err.. Dia nak belanja ke? But I still answered, "Dah kenyang pun." (Which is untrue. I was actually starving! After lunch, I rushed to JP and waited for his presence for about 2.5 hrs. Hehe) and smiled at him. He also smiled back and pose for a picture! On 30 Dec at Jurong Point. QY, SV, Zohra, and of coz the Fiknatics were there. Hosted by Kelvin (the channel 8 actor: I forgot his surname but he acted as Daqiu, the 3rd brother of the mandarin drama series, "Potrait of Home.") Will post both pictures here. :D Actually, that CD wasnt mine. It was Zohra's. She was... tooooooooooo shy to come up on stage to get the album signed. And she requested me to do it on her behalf. SPIDERMAN 3! THE CONDEMNED SECRET!! Compare with the number of movies I watched in 2006, I have improved! Last year, I watched 7 movies. 6 in cinemas, 1 from DVD. This year I watched 8! Hooray! An improvement!! Hahahaha.. Lame.. A bigger improvement.. all 8 movies that I watched this year are all from cinemas unlike last year which I watched only 6 cinemas in cinemas. I watched TRANSFORMERS for the second time in DVD! Just love that movie! Hmm, who knws next year in 2008, I get to watch 9 movies? Hahhaha.. Improve by 1 per year. LoL. Oh.. That movie.. My fav movie I think in 2005: Alien Vs Predator! Yes, Alien Vs Predator 2 will be in the cinemas on 1 January 2008! Cant wait cant wait.. My astrologies... Amyria, When working with others, try to smile even if you don't care about what they're saying. Let someone's story sink in before you decide whether or not to believe it. Don't pretend to believe if you really do not. Improving a relationship will first involve improving yourself. I agree. I always smile. I really do not want to care about what others say but I am emotional enuff said.. U will know what's next: Vent it all out in my blog!! Hahaha.. I totally agree that I have to improve myself first before improving / committing / starting a relationship. Which is what I have been slowly doing.. I need to improve myself in my sense of clothing.. I tend to be simply dress lah.. Now I am a secretary.. I have to wear something presentable.. Hmm, I have bought a few dresses and those trendy blouses but coz my grandma she doesnt like me to waste $$ on clothing. I'd told her, "Nenek kan mmg nak Maria jadi secretary.. Which is true. B and J did ask me out for pool and karaoke but I have to turn them down because:
1) I am still in debt.. pool and karaoke needs $$ ok.. I'm not saying I am selfish but I have debts to pay.. all thanks to the stupid bloody fraud.
2) I have no idea whether I'll be comfortable with my new job at ECSF. I have a new role now and I have to treat it seriously. Once I am comfortable and to release stress, sure I will either play pool, go arcade, watch movie and/or even karoake!!! Whee!!

Besides I have a stepfather.. My grandmother wants me to show my good side to my stepfather, coz my stepfather doesnt like his children (my step siblings) to come home no later than 10 pm. Later than that, they will get a slap on the face! Both my step siblings got it before.. I witnessed it! I am an exception for certain days due to nite classes. If it wasnt for nite classes, I will also kena not from my step dad.. From my GRANDMA! So, how to go for the countdown?! My grandmother will tell me: Kau kena tunjuk pada dia yg kau tak suka keluar malam mcm anak-anak dia." So, u tell me now how am I going to the countdown (for the very first time in my life) ?!!

The Asians has their say... HADY IS THEIR FIRST ASIAN IDOL!!!
YES!! HADY IS THE FIRST ASIAN IDOL!! I KNOW HE CAN WIN THIS!! I understand it is a tough fight but HADY CAN WIN THIS!
I voted and voted.. Bonus or no bonus... I WILL VOTE FOR HADY NO MATTER WHAT!!!
When Ata announced, "And the first Asian Idol is Hady Mirza (did you notice the shock on his face?!) of Singapore!" (Hady knelt down controlling his tears) After that announcement, I was like a mad woman jumping around the house, shouting, screaming and yelling, "Aaaahhh!! HADY MENANG!! Aaaahhhh! HADY WINS!! Aaaahhh!! HAhahahaha! Aaaaahhh!" And that woke my grandmother up. (She didnt watch the results show - she went to sleep.) My step dad and my mum were in the room. My mum came out to check on the commotion only to see I was shaking my boots with the cheers, "YEAY! YEAY! HADY MENANG! W00-HOO!!!"
Then my mum went, "Kau ni dah kenapa? Hady yg menang, kau yg melebih.. Terpekik-pekik mcm perempuan tak betul!" My 2 younger siblings interrupted, "Takkan Mak tak tau.. bila pasal Hady ajer Kakak mcm org giler!" Ahahahaha.. Which is TRUE..When it comes to Hady.. I am like a crazy woman!

TODAY WAS THE DAY I bid my permanent goodbye to Donaldson. I repeat: PERMANENT GOODBYE! Yes, I am not coming back! Though I heard rumours, "MBS sure will come back to Donaldson if she cant perform there.. PT comes back.. so did CGN.. Next one surely MBS." I AM GOING TO PROOF TO THEM THAT I AM NOT GOING TO COME BACK!
I received a very expensive farewell gift from 15 Donaldson colleagues. Before I continued.. I would like to voice out some 'unfairness'. I still remember vividly when NJ, Kak Liz, Kak LS, the lawyer: Mr ELK, PT (he comes back), CGN (also come back) almost everyone in the I.P department contribute a certain amount of $$. Usually about $5 each. There are about 36 or 37 pple in I.P department and usually about 34 or 35 pple contributed. Not bad ah the gifts about $100plus excess balance buy a card - a big one!
When it comes to me.. Hey, I dun mind. I am not expecting them to buy for me. Its up to them. BUT PLEASE IF THEY DIDNT CONTRIBUTE..JUST SHUT UP...
Like I'd mention in the earlier paragraph, I WONT BE COMING BACK.. I DUN WISH TOO.. please DO NOT ASSUME I WILL COME BACK. I've a habit that once I left some place I will not want to come back. I heard this: "WHY THOSE PPLE (those 15 pple whom I will list down their names/initial later) contribute to give MBS such an expensive gift?! We all also contribute to others but worht it.. Not wasted.. Liz, NJ, LS, ELK neva come back. PT and CGN come back and they're not afraid MBS will come back too.. Definitely their $$ gone wasted! I am not going to contribute. Waste of my $$ she sure come back.. What for?! Mark my words.. Definitely she comes back. So what if her position there is a secretary?! Cannot perform... out u go... Definitely come back here ah.. other place dun want her!"
WHY? She not happy issit?! 30 over pple contributed to give gifts to those who have left and that gift was about the same price as mine? She expects those 15 pple buy me a not so nice gift issit?! (means 15 pple contribute $5 to $6, for a gift of $75 to $80) I neva ask them to buy for me anything.. Its the thoughts that counts. Its their business.. They want, they contribute, they dun want..JUST SHUT UP..
I heard more! The above is from a non-malay complaining to another non-malay. Means, one is Indian and the other is Chinese. If both are Chinese, they will speak Hokkien or Cantonese - no longer in Mandarin - because they know I understand Mandarin. So, what if I understand mandarin?! Is it a crime to understand another language?!
The below is from a malay lah who didnt contribute.. complaining to another malay and.. aiyah JUST READ AH!
Person A said, "MBS so stupid. Over here at Donaldson, her job is very simple already - report to clients on the trade mark journals! If I ah get simplest job like that, dun want to resign but she stupid resign. If she resign go and do some other easier job than just reporting of the gazettes, i wont bother but she resign from Donaldson to do a more harder job in Ella Cheong! Stupid ah! Dah dpt kerja senang nak kerja susah!"
Person B added, "Not sure if she wants to come back. Donaldson now has decided to have the "come back policy". If you're resign, can come back. MBS pasti come back punya.. Tgk si PT.. go to Rodyk then cannot adapt there, he comes back.. CGN went to A & G also cannot adapt dtg balik ke Donaldson. MBS confirm dtg balik nyer ah.."
GOD really pities me.. Whenever I was in the cubicle, those pple who said those hurtful things were also in the toilet.. Thats how I got to know. DO U KNOW I WANNA CRY OK! FROM THE FIRST DAY I STARTED TILL I WANT TO RESIGN.. SURE HAVE VERY HURTFUL THINGS TO SAY ABOUT ME.. WHAT DID I DO TO THEM? HAVE I OFFENDED THEM IN SOME WAY? Yes, I admit.. The way I talked may sound like I'm kinda boastful or proud. But I am not, I have that slight confidence more than others, probably.. Whats up with them?!
TAKE NOTE OF THIS EVEN IF DONALDSON OFFER ME TO COME BACK, I DO NOT WANT TO COME BACK. Should I not be able to adapt with the working conditions at ECSF, I can always look for others.. I DO NOT WISH TO COME BACK. I AM HEADING FOR THE FUTURE NOT RETURNING TO THE PAST.
The 15 pple who contributed to the (I think each one forked out $10 because that is indeed an expensive gift!) are: Kak Lin, PT, TSL, Kak SM, Kak RA, Kak ZA, MAM, KR, KL, EA, SU, Naushad, Uncle Bakri, Uncle Eunos and Shyla. Because the rest DUN WANT TO CONTRIBUTE and YET MAKE SO MUCH NOISE, these 15 pple has to fork out more than the normal usual budget of $5 but $10, I believe so.. Because that gift is indeed expensive. That was why those who didnt contribute got to know about this, they voiced out their unhappiness, they expect the 15 pple forked out $5 each?! Hahaha! they're wrong!

Agree? That gift is definitely ranging from $100 to $150. Or is it more? The model is Titus ok from City Chain! How can it the price ranging from $100 to $150? Hmm, dun tell me each of them fork out about $12 to $15 and the cost of the watch is around $180 to $200?! Care to enlighten me?
Sighz.. There's a mixed rush of emotions in me. Happy, sad, relieved. Though the uncertainty is high, but I am certainly relieved that I won't be working in Donaldson anymore.
Well, I'm gonna miss everyone here. Not that I want to but I have to. Live has to move on... Bigger environment, bigger tasks, bigger responsibilities.... As a matter of fact I'm not mentally ready (for now, i guess). Hopefully, things will change for the better.
Well, finally, I am outta here. That was what SP said to me too when I shook her hands before 5.45pm, giving a pandan cake and all, "Finally, you're outta here.." However, (wont be able to bump into him anymore because my new job wont be located at Raffles Place.. It is now located at Beach Road.. Hmm.. )

Received the most expensive present of all times.. Neva have I received such an expensive present! *Wonder where in the world, my younger sis g0t the $$?* Kak ZA gave me this present: From the rest: Kak RA, Kak ZA, Shyla, SU and Kak Lin.. They sang happy birthday song and before I blow the candle, I have to make a wish. What's my wish? "To be happy in my new job and work place, InsyaAllah..kena haruslah bersabar." I bought a dress for myself. For my birthday. Haha.. I bought a present for myself. I will show you the front and the back photos of it.. I'm sure you know which one is the front and the back.. :P Also not forgetting... THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO HAVE SMS me wishing me happy birthday. I was so equipped with my hp while at work.. Whoever mentions my name at the presence of pple who despise me, dislikes me or whatever lah and / or mentioning my name to pple who find my name disgusting or you have goosebumps upon mentioning of my name, please still do respect MY NAME coz my late grandfather gave me that name. Do not wish to respect me, no worries, but please respect the dead man ok..
So, if thats the case... I better change the name in my NRIC (cant change the name in my BC) from MARIA BINTE SLAMAT to MARIA BINTE SLAMAT @ (@ is alias) Amyria? Possible? I believe it is but I have to seek lawyer's approval and some other things. That means, MORE COSTS involve. *I'm still in debt*
To those pple who have added some other names to your NRIC, care to share whats the procedure like? I know they are majority of the pple out there who are born as TAN KIA TECK but has changed to BENJAMIN ISSAC TAN KIA TECK (nama yang digunakan adalah rekaan semata-mata dan tiada kena mengena dgn yg hidup ataupun yg mati) in their NRIC. I know. A few of my Diploma friends added their English name to their surname like the example I stated above. Maybe I can ask them about the procedure..
I would like to have a gentle reminder to my avid readers:-
Whatever entries I rant in my blog are PURELY based on my EXPRESSION. I expressed my anger, hatred, excitement in BOLD. So, please DO NOT NEED TO BE AFRAID. I am just a normal human being. The way I wrote entries in my blog may seem to be "scary" but I am not Stephen King, RL Stine or even Rusell Lee (or is he Rusell Wong?). These pple can write pretty damn scary stories that can make us goosebumps..can make us feel our hairs stand. My entries are pretty OK.. So, whats the problem? Whats so scary when pple mention my name... Haha.. Weird.
If I still hear pple have goosebumps upon mentioning of my name, I am really gonna change the name in my NRIC... I will not want to bother about the cost. I will do what it takes to ensure pple will not to be afraid of me.. *evil grinz*
I wish to revamp myself, can I?
Took half day leave on 30 Nov. Went window shopping at Raffles EXchange Mall, Bugis Junction, then headed down to Tiong Bahru Plaza, lastly to Jurong Point. Still cant find a suitable one! Once I found a suitable one, it is either sleeveless or 1/4 sleeve! I need to find one that is full length sleeve or at least 3/4 sleeve. Then when there's one with full length sleeve and 3/4 sleeve, I dun like the design!
I AM NOT LOOKING FOR BLOUSE. I HAVE ENUFF OF BLOUSE. I am now looking dresses! Yes, I wish to revamp myself, to change my image. Soon, I will have a new job with a slightly higher designation: secretary. Secretaries have to look presentable. I know myself. I have lots of clothes in my wardrobe, keeping up with the latest fashion but somehow, I still dun look presentable enuff still. So, I have to slowly and gradually change my image. I know. It is IMPOSSIBLE to change within a short time. Just have a bit of patience and you will see the changes in me soon.
Please pple.. I do not want to hear this: I changed my image, personality blah blah for others. NO. I change FOR MYSELF. For my future. Boss mana nak secretary dia very simple? If I neva change myself, who knows my new boss will demote me to clerk and promote or hire sumone else who looks presentable! So, a gentle reminder to u readers: I change for myself. Thank you.
P/S: Any one of u out there who happen to have err WORN ONCE dress of long sleeves and wish to give it away, sell to me at reasonable pricing can? Heehe... If ur dress has been worn more than once and wish to sell it away, can forget it.. I want WORN ONCE and STILL in GOOD LOOKING condition. :p
