I am going for the above. I understand that my withdrawal to resign is not accepted and I have to be dismissed on 15 October 2009 together with another colleague but Allah somehow helped me. My supervisor tells the management and director that she still needs me. I am grateful and thankful. Allah knows everything. Maybe 15 October was not the time for me to leave yet, that's why I am still here.

I have R.S.V.P to the above. I will keep praying to Allah to allow me to work in my current company till after year end. InsyaAllah, Allah will answer my prayers. Anyway, for this year's D & D, the theme will be BLOCKBUSTER NIGHT. We will have to dress up as a movie character from 9 blockbuster movies selected.

There are 9 movies. I am in luck. Thanks to ALLAH. I am in the same table as Kak OLIN! Maybe Allah has hinted me something? I'll leave it to ALLAH for his decision. ALLAH knows best. Anyway, I am in the same table as Kak Olin. Well, if I am still staying put till D & D, at least I have a few to talk to (who are neutral - NEITHER on my side NOR others - use their brains to tell them whether it is right or wrong). If I am staying put till D & D and I am in the same table as most of the pple who are NOT on my side and NOT even feeling NEUTRAL, do u think I will be able to enjoy the D & D? 1. I did not make it for the Dating Challenge. No worries, it does not matter. If I win, I dun get cash $$ anyway, I only get to have free makeover, photoshoot and haircut.



2. One month is up and I still do not know what's my verdict - whether I can stay or not. The GM has seen me 1 week before the one month verdict. She said she will get back to me on my withdrawal of my resignation.. Sighz..

I send my name and photo to the above organised by The New Paper JUST FOR FUN and I was surprised that I got shortlisted. When I saw my photo with the rest of the contestants who got shortlisted, I was the only non-chinese. Hmm, does the organisers think that I am a non-malay? Hah.

This Sunday, we'll run your photo along with the other shortlisted players, and our readers will vote for the final 4 women and 4 men to take part.The contest will run from Sunday till Wednesday.

I'm writing to you early for a few things.

1. Should you be chosen as the final 8, there are several things to note: There is a makeover photoshoot session on Monday 16 Nov, 7pm. Hair, makeup and wardrobe will be provided for the shoot.We'll have experts to tell us how best to enhance your look, so you'll look the best in every situation. But before that, we would need you to head down to The Body Shop to meet with their expert, so we can speak to her about the type of makeup and skincare routine that'll suit you. This is LIKELY to happen Friday 13 Nov, 7pm. We'll be sending your photos to the hairdresser too and he'll be giving his opinion too. He might want to trim your hair or color it (but we've stressed that it has to be natural and not alter your appearance too radically, unless you permit it). If you're required to trim your hair, this is likely to happen on Thurs 12 Nov, around 7pm too. Both times, there will be a The New Paper (TNP) photographer present to capture the behind the scenes moment too. Then I'll need your sizes (chest, waist, hips, height) so our stylist ZH (who has styled The New Paper New Face since 2003, and celebrities such as Zoe Tay, Huang Biren, Joanne Peh, Jesseca Lui, Dawn Yeoh, Pierre Png and Christopher Lee, just to name a few) can selected the appropriate selection from Topman (for guys) or Dorothy Perkins (for girls).

2. The final 8 will be going through 4 fun-filled activities, and these will happen over a course of two weeks. For now, the first activity is on 21 Nov morning, 28 or 29 Nov and the morning of 6 Dec.

Could you please hit reply all to confirm if you can make it during those dates?3. In the end, when the match has or has not been made, there will be gathering to conclude the series. This activity would be held on the week of 13 Dec.

A's sister, my best friend is back! She came back on 17th Sept (the day of misfortune, I stepped onto a nail - OUCH!).

Her contract is over and it will take ages to renew so she can't stay without a valid permit so she returned to her hometown, Singapore to start earning some $$ before going back to London to work and study there.

She knows abt my problem (the one abt blogging and the one abt resigning and the one abt one month period). She knows everything. As a friend, she scolded me for acting foolishly. She scolded me for not using my brains before react and she advise me that when it come to work, it is not abt the quantity but the quality. She advises me to do my work as slowly as I can to avoid any minor mistakes. She will help me to get a position in her current company should anything happen to me. She is working in an advertising company fyi..

She is on my side, though. She said it is OK to write abt someone in a blog. She said that the person should be happy that I am making her famous in a way.

Though I have less than 1 week to know whether I can stay or not, I still R.S.V.P for Dinner & Dance 2009 - Blockbuster Night! Just as I am grateful that I have got a part time job, I have to accept the fate that my income from my part time job, will not last. W.e.f 31 October, there is some renovation going on and I was informed that there won't be any telemarketing till further notice.

When I collected my cheque last Friday in another office (they tumpang another office - for $133; syukur alhamdulilah), I was informed that the renovation will be over in late Jan 2010! So I can only resume back in Feb 2010! Gosh.

Looks like I have to source for other part time job to sustain my income.
