Both part time jobs NO LONGER needs me.
For Sunday's cafe job, I understand that it is a change of ownership - change boss so definitely the new boss does not want me coz the new boss does not know me and may not need me. My last day was last week - 24 May because tomorrow, 31 May, the makcik wants to do some spring cleaning before the new owner takes over w.e.f 1 June.
So, I thought the Saturday's belly dancing job can tide me over. It has been my standard procedure to call at the belly dancing shop on either Thursday or Friday to ask for the time for me to report to work. When I called, the boss told me that they no longer need me - for the time being - because business is really... really slow...
I felt that it was unfair. The Saturday job has not have the change of ownership yet but then they do not need me - for the time being - due to bad business. Sighz.
Looks like I have to 'rot' at home in the weekends starting today. I will look for part time jobs again but not now, as I do need a rest too - that's what most of my friends and even my dear grandma says. Perhaps, I will take a rest and should the need to have another job arises, I will hunt for another part time job, preferably in a retail supermarket or fast food outlets because those are the places which ALWAYS in A NEED of SERVICE STAFF. As for my finances, from now on, I will jot down on a piece of paper my expenditures and make sure I'll have sufficient funds for bills, transport and lunch, else I will either have to starve or beg for food or $$ which is so pathetically pitiful..

so what if the Desaru trip was cancelled? I will be going to Pulau Perhentian Terrengganu in end July / early August.... =D
I will be going with a few colleagues... =D This is what my grandma says, "Kalau Kak Olin tak pergi, kau jgn pergi.. takder org nak jaga kau.." Hahahaha... Who says Kak olin won't be going?! She loves Perhentian... Definitely she's going!

My part time jobs may soon be over. For both days. Reason: both jobs are of the same reason.
Saturday - The owner of the shop who is also a belly dance teacher revealed to me last week that she has called her property agent to help her sell away her shop. She wants to move on and do other things.. She told me that it is tiring to be owner of a shop. Here's the catch: When the new owner takes over, I can't be a part timer there anymore because the new owner does not know me and does not hire me. I was hired by her, not the new owner so I can't work as a part timer at the belly dance shop anymore once the new owner takes over. I don't know when that will happen.
I thought if the change of ownership takes place, I can rely on the Sunday part time job. Wil try to negotiate with the makcik to allow me work on Saturdays and Sundays instead of only Sundays.. However. . . .
Sunday - 31 May may be my last day for my Sunday job. I just found out that the makcik will no longer be the owner of the cafe as of 31 May! Why wasn't I informed? At least I was informed for Saturday's job. Oh dear!
Looks like I may go for job hunting for part time again after the changeover of owners. Since 31 May is my last day working in cafe, I may ask the belly dance shop owner if she wants me on Sundays.. If she agrees, it may lighten down my financial burden for a while. After a new owner takes over the belly dancing shop, then I am off wandering and hunting again for part time jobs.
What luck! I got 2 part time jobs and both will be changing ownership soon.. Sighz..
