Received an email from TL.
Hey, that's not bad for a newbie like me. What was it abt?
The TL consolidate the results (points, rather) for the month of September and I was in Top 8! Wow! Yup!! The Top 8 CSRs for my team for the month of September.
I actually can talk on the phone. My chipmunk voice still able to be trainer... still able to be in Top 8. Not bad ehk... Alhamdulillah...

There is a new staff today.
He is from the Philippines. Standard procedures... newcomers will have to be trained by the senior staffs. I am not that senior. I was with the company since 1 Sept. Guess who has to train the new staff?
ME!
When the TM informed me that I have to train him and TL informed me to teach him how to log in and etcetra etcetra, I NEVER ask them WHY me coz I am not that senior yet and I have lots of things to learn too. I never ask. I fulfill my duty. Coz the job scope in my contract as a CSR states that if TM and TL assigned me to do other tasks, I have to do... NO QUESTIONS asked.
But on 2nd thought, maybe TM and TL have the confidence in me. Maybe they believe that I can go this far, to train new staff. Maybe they see me as a potential employee for their team. I am not supposed to judge myself how good or bad I am.
All our conversations with the customers are all recorded. And the TM and TL listened to the recording of ALL their team mates everyday to do an appraisal report. That is not easy job for them. They have to catch the misuse of the tone of our voices, how we interpret customers' queries etc etc.
I couldnt believe it myself too when I was told to train this new guy. Is this the career for me, in a call centre? Only ALLAH knows best. Amin
