Dear avid readers,
I have been searching for jobs - does not matter whether it is permanent, contract or temporary as long as I have a job to sustain my finances.
Alhamdulilah.
I have got one but a temporary. Well, it is full time but if they pay me hourly rate, I treat it as a temporary job. What job is that? A telemarketer. Boleh la daripada takder. Kerja telemarketer halal per.
Working hours are 11am to 6pm with 1 hour break time. Place is opposite the Central. My job scope is just to call people to invite them to try the products. No selling involve. Phew. However, they still pay me commission! If the person turned up for the trial, I get the comm on top of my basic hourly pay.
So at least I am relief and can relax to search for permanent job now coz I have got a job to at least secure myself in finances.
Before I end, afew of my friends including my best friend, A advised me to go back to ECSF since the director offered to accept me back should I change my mind - remember I did mention abt it in this blog on my last day with ECSF?
This is what I told them.
"I dun mind going back there provided:
1) The MINAHs are no longer working there
2) I am offered Marketing position
3) I expect for a salary of at least $1800"
A shouted at me, "Who cares abt (1)? Just dun care them. Treat them invisible, make ur ears deaf!" Sorry babe, I can't. I have this 'reputation'.

Today marks my last day.
For 4 months and 1 week. As expected by my boss, the lady boss and husband do not wish to confirm me. My boss shared with me that since I came in as HR Executive, they do not like it. (that was why they suggested to my boss to change my designation to Corporate Services Executive but my boss insisted to hire me as HR Exec hence, that's why my new designation is pretty long --> Human Resources and Corporate Services Executive.)
When I asked my boss the reason why, my boss said that the husband and wife would like to do HR on their own, after my boss has moved on. They do not need a HR personnel. Because the husband wife keeps saying that "there are confidential matters.." Of coz, HR has to deal with confidential matters but if these confidential matters, they do not want HR to deal with it, then why was I being employed then?
There are lots of other things that they kept from my boss. In the end, what my boss can guide me is to show me step by step the process of applying, renewing, cancelling the WPs, S-Passes and E-Passes.
No wonder I can't concentrate to study on HR at my desk. The husband asked me to do this, the wife asked me to do that. Then I suspect, one of them may have informed the senior managers that Corporate Service Exec will "do everything", coz I have to do photocopying for them!
If I am doing all these, what about my HR? My boss did the HR stuff and he did raise it up to the husband and wife but all fell on deaf ears and my boss concluded that they do not want a HR. Fine.
Well, what can I say? Maybe there is no rezeki for me in the company. Him? Yup, I told him and he seemed sad and was angry at the husband and wife but he can do nothing. He wished me all the best and he said he would miss me. *eyes rolling*
And now, JobStreets... JobsDB and JobsCentral, here I come again searching for better job offer.
