1) I had wanted to blog abt this since end of last year but always forget.. =.=
My good friend from sec school, Nazrul aka Sermio Ramos in Facebook and Friendster participatd in Projek Cerpen (Short Story Project). His short story UNFORTUNATELY wasnt featured in Suria (the series has ended to make way for the second season of the drama: Janji Diana) because he got 11th place! Suria only selected Top 10! Man! The title of his short story: Hasil Tok Bomoh.
I can share only a little bit.. *gleam* According to my good friend... "well its about this family of four, who happens to be very entertaining but both husband and wife bound to quarrel almost everyday..until one day the wife made up her mind to see this bomoh...eventually its goes the wrong way.. the bomoh kena bantai because pergi ubat salah orang.. Its supposed to be kinda hilarious.. "

4) ECSF is organizing company trip again! In 2006, was a trip to BEIJING CHINA.. In 2001, was to Phuket Thailand, usually the company trip is every 5 yrs but now seems like its every 2 yrs (Whee! I dont have to wait till 2011 for the trip!)
I did blog on 15 March 2008, that they're thinking of organizing a trip to Hanoi Vietnam, Langkawi Malaysia or Bangkok Thailand, rite? It has confirmed and the trip will be:

OF COZ I MUST GO! A CHANCE OF A LIFE TIME.. 9 yrs ago, I went to Pulau Karimun, Indonesia for a sch trip and I told myself that Indonesia WONT BE THE FURTHEST PLACE I will be travelling.. Hahaha.. Mulut ku kan masin.. See, it comes true!
What? Passport? Itu bisa diatur.. Ditanggung beres! (Aik? How come now I am writing in Indonesian?!!)

23rd Feb was my FIRST TIME to California Fitness, and it shld be my FIRST training with my trainer, Naz (refer to my 14 Feb entry) however, I came at 8.55 am (coz Naz scheduled the training to be at 9am! so early seh!) and was already in the women changing room (means, I have arrived lah) when I received an SMS from an unknown number. I read the sms and it read, "Hi Maria, Naz here... sorry for the late notice.. I'm not feeling well, got to reschedule..I call u tmro to arrange for next week training ok.." Anyway, upon receiving that sms, I replied, "Alamak.. I am here already in the changing room.." A reply came from him came and it read, "Its ok...u just do light workout...no weights...we train next week ok?" Of course lah I replied.."Ok...sure..Next week will do.." Guess what? He called! He didnt use his hp to call me.. I assume he was still in the gym, preparing to go home.. coz the number that was flashing on my hp starts from 6534 blah blah.. He told me before he stayed at Bukit Batok (sumpah aku tak tanya pun!). Bukit Batok starts with number 656 blah blah... Since he called and I have free incoming call, I answered the call. I was rite.. that was him.. Maybe he called to clarify the mon 4pm thing lah.. Our conversations are in English.. *eyes rolling* Do I need to be a chinese to listen to chinese songs? I also listen to Indonesian (I have fallen in love with Ungu's song: Kekasih Gelapku and Tercipta Untukmu & not forgetting, Kenangan Terindah by Samson, which I have fallen in love with last year) songs, does that mean I have to be from Indonesia? *slaps forehead* Before he left, "U do this for about 20 mins ah.." I went, "Hah? 20 mins?" He gave a sarcastic look, "then u want 2 mins?" I gave him an evil smirk... I did the workout on the stepper for 20 mins.. Next is the treadmill but I didnt start on it straight away.. Hahahah..Baru 20 mins dah penat?! I went down to the changing room to rest lah! Hmm... coincidence.. Last week, he wasnt feeling well, then the next week cousin passed away.. *aah dont care lah, not my problem!* So, the training's rescheduled on Sat, 8 March at 1pm. I was there way early, at about 1220.. I went for warm up first... on the treadmill.. Then came 1pm, Naz out of nowhere appeared! He asked me to start on the stepper again.. for 10 mins.. After that, we proceed to the moving stairs.. Yeah.. There's this machine that looks like a stairs BUT it is moving. (can say it is like an escalator but smaller like stairs) So, when we work on it, we have to constantly step and step on the stairs.. Tired sia! Naz knew I look tired so he said, "Dont have to do for 10 mins.. When the timer reaches 7 mins.. U stopped." I nodded but in my heart, I was saying, "Why 7 mins! Why not 4 or 5 mins.. Aku dah tak larat ni.." LoL.. The moment I stepped on to the moving stairs.. baru 2 mins I cannot already.. Sighz... Naz wants me to rest. So I rest. He began the conversation. "You malay rite?" *eyes rolling* Didnt he just ask me that a few weeks ago? Didnt he know the name Maria is a Malay name and didnt he remember speaking malay to me? Definitely I AM MALAY!!! I cldnt be bother to argue with him..layankan ajer ah.. and I answered, "Yes." Now I know why he kept staring at me..trying to be gatal with me on the eve of Valentines Day when I signed up as a member at California Fitness. . . . . because . . . . The next thing he asked, "U stay clementi kan?" Bingo! Great memory there! I nodded.. Pple tired ah wanna rest cannot talk much.. Hah. He continued, "Clementi Ave what?" Hmm... Layankan ajer ah.. I jwb jer ah, "Last time I stay Clementi Ave 3 and 5 then I moved to Clementi West, which is in the middle of West Coast and clementi." Then he gave a look as if he was right. "No wonder u look familiar.. From Jin Shan Primary kan?" *shock face* JIN SHAN PRIMARY?! Bila masa aku gi attend Primary school kat Jin Shan?! Dia betul ke tak betul? I looked at him and gave a surprised look on my face, "huh? Jin shan? me? No.. I wasnt from Jin Shan pri.." He really thinks I am.. "Sure, u were not from Jin Shan pri? u really look familiar.. u sure u not my ex-junior from jin shan pri?" *raises eyebrows* I look familiar to him? How come he doesnt look familiar to me? He said I look like someone he knew from Jin Shan pri? I gave him the assurance look at my face, "Betul.. I wasnt from Jin Shan pri.. I was from Clementi Town Pri." Dia tak putus asa... "u sure u were not from jin shan pri and then coincidently went to the same sec sch with me at Dunearn Sec.."? *slaps forehead* DUNEARN SEC?! "Wah.. Gi Dunearn Secondary School sey dulu.. kencang ah... I attended secondary kat Jin Tai the sch popular with gang fights during my first 1 and half years in that school," I spontaneously replied to him with a smile. "Oh.. from Jin Tai..not Dunearn?" Sorry, Naz I have to disappoint u but my answer is yup..I was from CTPS and JTSS and not from Jin Shan Pri and Dunearn Sec. Out of curiousity, I asked him why suddenly that question.. Naz told me.. "Coz u really look very familiar to me..last time I stay with my grandmother at Clementi Ave 2 and like to disturb this gal who happen to be my junior in pri school..she really looks like u.." =.= *do I have a twin?* "Pelanduk dua serupa agaknya..." He gave a disappointed expression and agreed, "mungkin.." Hahaha... Patutlah bukan main gatal that time.. He thought I was that gal he loved to disturb while at Clementi Ave 2.. ... The next training: To climb up and down the stairs.. Hahahaha... I told Naz.."senang nyer.." He looked at me.. "senang eh... u have to climb up the stairs 2 steps at a time..not the normal steps that we took..." I gave him THE ROCK's eyebrow look and tersenyum sengih.. "Ouh.. like that ah.. Ok.. Can lah.. No problem.." So I start.. I climb 2 steps at a time and Naz from behind, "do not touch the railing.." =.= OK!!! So, I have to do the 2 steps climbing up the stairs for 3 rounds.. 1st round: 3 times.. 2nd round: 5 times. Again after the 2nd round, he instructed me to take a rest. The conversation continued, "Penat eh?" I nodded.. Mmg ah penat! Climb 2 steps at a time on the stairs without touching the railing and continue doing that for 8 times! Mana tak penat! Remember rite, he has that tattoos on both his arms and on both his legs.. He has those drawings at arms and legs.. God knows..maybe kat badan dia jugak ada.. so I didnt bother much.. Guess what?! While resting, Naz whipped out his handphone and showed a picture to me, "This is my daughter." *BIG SMILE IS SHOWN ON MY FACE* "Woah.. cute nyer.. belum 1 year I guess umur dia.." Naz nodded.. Hahah..I got it right.. He kept showing the photos of his daughter.. "K... c'mon continue one final round.. if u do this climbing up the stairs everytime u come here, confirm can lose weight.." *Mcm sindir ajer si Naz ni... Slim down eh? Aku gemuk sangat ker?!* So, I carried on with the 3rd round of climbing up the stairs with 2 steps and without touching the railing.. the 3rd round has to do that for 7 times! =.=' Actually after that 3rd round, he has to train me on something else.. Tapi agaknya dia tgk aku ni dah tak leh continue lagi so he asked me to rest and told me that he will be back to get something.. He came back with 2 things on his hand. "K, Maria.. Since u look very tired.. we end the training now..coz with 10 more mins, I dun think u can larat lagi.. and I have presents for u.. Remember last week I had to cancel our training because my cancer striken cousin passed away, so as a make up for that.. I give u a California Fitness Sport Shoe Bag..u can keep ur sport shoes inside and I also give another present for u memandangkan u cant continue anymore.. u look really shagged so, here's a California Fitness Pouch for u.. I call u to schedule for next week, ok?" I smiled and said, "Thank u.. k lah see u next week." Naz whispered this, "actually not allowed to give u these things but takper u take it.. sssshh dun tell others..." (I wonder what will I get as a 'free gift' for next session? Hah!) I am looking forward for my next's training.. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I didnt knw that Naz was under contract with California Fitness! He didnt tell me.. I dun bother to ask also.. Haha.. so, I was left with one more session (the free one) with him and a new trainer took over lah.. A male also...Ok lah.. Not bad.. Better looking than Naz.. Wahaha.. Name shld not be disclosed here yet.. :P On 30 Mar, I went for my supposedly last session but with a new trainer. I checked my height and weight.. WHEEE!!! From I have to pay la for the personal training because personal training is not part of the monthly subscription.. Actually, my training with Naz was supposed to be 4 trainings + 1 free = $288 w/o GST (promo price for the month of Feb, actual price = $420 w/o GST, which doesnt come with a free session). However, I told Naz at that time that I dun think I want the training because of the price. As stated earlier, he thought I was his ex-junior from Jin Shan Pri, he probed further. I am very good at making pple pity me.. Heehe.. Just make myself look pitiful and pathetic la.. So maybe after I explained my situation.. he did what he wasnt supposed to do.. unless California Fitness belongs to his family! He The same goes for this new trainer. That's why I dun wish to reveal the name here. I dun want him to suffer same fate as Naz - if it is true that they didnt renew Naz's contract due to the above. *lalala - not my fault rite?* (For the month of March, the promo price increase to $320 w/o GST; actual price is still $420 w/o GST.) So as usual the promo price of $320 is subjected for 4 + 1 free. The new trainer noticed that my body is still very stiff.. Hahaha.. *I am not an exercise person la* So, he encouraged me to sign up for 1 more 4 sessions of training.. Hahaha.. Those who have been very loyal to my blog will know I am having some financial woes rite now.. So, do u think I take up the $320? The answer is NO..Hahaha. However, *these personal trainers..do they get commission for signing pple up? hahaha* the new trainer probed the reason why.. Hmm... the same thing I did.. Tunjukkan muka ku yg sungguh kesian and pathetic and this was what he said, "Ok.. the actual price is $420 for 4 sessions + 1 free and since $320, the amount is too steep for u.. $420 divide by 4 is $105 for 1 training.. Ok with u? But between u and me.. I am giving u 2 sessions free.." At first I didnt understand why he did the mathematics calculation.. Then I realized that he was telling me that I will be having 3 sessions with him for only $105! Which is a better bargain than the previous, isnt it? Previously, it was 3 sessions for $144 w/o GST and now I have another 3 sessions for $105 w/o GST. Hmm.. OK lah.. SET..! I agreed. In Feb, I paid for 2 sessions get 1 free.. As of 30 March (even though the training resumes in April, I have to make early payment because should I be paying in April, the usual price wont be $420 but more than that and I aint sure if there will be promo price for PT in April), I paid for 1 session get 2 free.. How lucky am I... I related this to some of my male friends and again they're being very sarcastic. "Iya la tu.. Pandai lah kau buat muka sedih..muka kesian... muka cute kau tu.. U can do that to other guys.. tapi dgn kita semua kau nak buat gitu...tak jalan punya.. hahaha.. kau nasib ah dpt male personal trainer.. We dun think female personal trainer can give u special treatment, no matter how u tunjukkan ur muka yg kesian tu.." (FYI: In Republic Plaza branch, there IS ONLY ONE FEMALE personal trainer..) =.= Another sarcastic remark: "Kau kan skrg nak sgt kerja part time in the weekends kan? Go and ask any hunks over there if CF ada vacancy in the weekends part time.. Kau buat la lagi muka sedih, muka kesian, muka manis kau tu confirm they can recommend kau nyer! Since school till now.. pple always give u red carpet.. In sec sch, u're the teacher's pet..most of the teachers adore u, likes u for God-knws-what-reason..(FYI: I SWEAR I DIDNT KNOW I WAS TEACHERS' PET..*shrugs*) Now u're already working, we heard stories from u and we can tell that those pple also give u the special treatment.. Why u so special ah?" =.= =.= I have no comments and the remark about making my face looks so sad, pitiful, and pathetic is NOT Very funny, get it guys?!!

Hahaahaha.. "Yes." (I need to change the ringing tone soon, that chinese ringtone is so outdated..hahahha)

"Can lah little bit.." (I am trying to change lah! Can end the call fast! Hah!)
"Actually, I am here already but I cant train u coz not feeling well, I have to go home so later u do simple workout.. dun carry weights eh.."
"Ok.." (of coz lah if I wanna workout.. who wants to do the weights...I go gym to slim down not to tegapkan my shoulders or badan by doing weights! Hah...)
"ok..bye.."

After that phone call conversation, I went to do my workout.. like he mentioned, he was there and getting ready to go home so I saw him there.. Of coz he saw me.. and again he said the same thing.. he was sick blah blah.. and he brought me to stepper machine to start my workout..
"So, u know how to operate this thing?" I giggled.. "This is stepper, (pointing to rowing machine), thats the rowing machine and that one (pointing to treadmill) is treadmill, so maybe I know lah.."
He gave a chuckle.. "Eksyen eh.. U try to operate this stepper." Hmm, the normal stepper I know.. doesnt have this 'operating' thing just step on it and exercise lah! So when I step onto it, I cant start!! Naz said, "U see what I did...tu ah eksyen lagi.." He press here, press there.. and the stepper started to move! I also start my workout!
While working out on the stepper, he talked to me.. Layankan ajer ah.. He mentioned he was sick and he was asked to leave, order by the management coz if he still wants to train me, he will spread to me.. so he was assuring me, "tmr we confirm eh." "Ya..ok.." *how many times must he say that?!*
On Sat (1 Mar), I shld be going for training on 1 Mar on Sat. I woke up in the morning and switch on my handphone. An unread msg from Naz. The msg reads: "Maria, I noe u gg to be super mad but I have to cancel today's training. My cancer-striken cousin passed away. Kena pergi kebumian dia. So sorry will reschedule asap." 
56.6kg to 54.4kg!! Yippe!! My target? Well, when I was in sec 1 and sec 2..my weight was 50kg.. but I dun knw why my weight shots up to 56 kg - 58 kg after sec 3! LoL.. So, the new trainer's target for me is 52kg.. I disagreed. Me: "50 kg boleh?" He ok jer lah.. Haha..reduced the price to $144 w/o GST for 2 sessions plus 1 free training session. The free training session is between me and him.. Like I said, he thought that I was his ex-junior so he shld do something la kirakan! Hahaha.. *Maybe because of this, CF didnt want to renew his contract / make him permanent? Oh dear! My fault ah? Nah.. could be some other reasons la*

1) Me? Commercial look?!
I was approached by a director of a modelling agency. He came up to me and ask some normal usual questions. He enquired if I am interested to have 'my face shown on mags / ads / tv'. I replied, "I dun mind for exposure but I dun think I am cut out for it."
He asked why. I told him honestly that I am not that attractive enuff (must be humble lah.. dun be so boastful - I know majority of the pple have mentioned that I am pretty and have a beautiful smile: thats what pple say.. NOT I SAY.. :P) etc.
He gave a chuckle and yes, he knows malay and he reverted, "U lawa what.. got a cantik smile also.. with some touch up.. dah cun what..U can start of being a tv commercial model for a start and those tv commercial models earn at least 4 fig amount and it can sum up to a 5 fig amount. This is my name card. If u have consider and u willing to give it a try, call me."
*JAWS WIDE OPEN*
Not only him! An acquitance of mine agreed too! He has an uncle who also owns a modelling agency and he got his uncle to come and meet me. His uncle also agrees that I have that look and he too offer me a chance to try out. Again, I received another name card. Hmm...
I dun mind trying BUT they need to take MY PHOTOS to send to those advertisers (maybe to MediaCorp) before I can show my face on tv. And to take those photos, I believe I will have to pay them la.. Thats how modelling agency makes $$ what.. I know coz I went for a makeover almost 5 yrs ago!
Hmm, do u think I am cut out for it.. Shall I try, just for exposure?
2. HOW?!!! - In regards to 19th April!!!
Why are malay wedding these days are being held on Saturday? And not the usual Sunday?
On 19th April - Eco Concert at Ngee Ann City with performances by Campus Superstar 2 winner, Aliff Aziz, HADY MIRZA and etc etc..
DEFINITELY I AM GOING COZ dah lama tak tgk HADY.. RINDU... I RINDU SERINDU-RINDUNYA KAT U LA HADY.. :D 19th April is on Saturday and the concert is from 6 pm to 9 pm. HOWEVER ...... !!!
MY COUSIN - MY FAVOURITE SECOND COUSIN (well, our grandmothers are adoptive sisters... which means, his grandmother's parents died during the japanese war and my grandmother's family took her (the only survivor) to the family - thats what I heard la...) will be having his wedding on 19th April from 4 pm to 9 pm!!!!

I HAVE TO ATTEND HIS WEDDING.. HIS MY FAVOURITE COUSIN and every year during Hari Raya.. he and his second bro (me not close with the second bro N third bro) always kena usik by our mothers.. Haha.. They can really recall that when I was only 1 or 2 yrs old, that cousin of mine was only 9 or 10 yrs old along with his bro who was 4 or 5 yrs old came rushing at my pram shouting, "adik kita dtg.." then they were fighting.."aku nak dukung dia.." "TAK BOLEH..AKU YG BESAR, AKU DUKUNG DIA DULU.." and both brothers fight.. Hahaha.. At that time, Aunt Leha (their mother) was the only one who was married and got kids. Uncle Rahman just married and the rest: Aunt Masturah, Uncle Kamal and Aunt Mas Ayu hadnt married yet. So, aku lah jadi "adik" mereka. Also, there was on one occasion when Uncle Rahman got married, Aunt Leha she shouted to her boys when she saw me, "Ni dia Maria dtg.. Nanti dah besar kahwin dgn siapa?" Then her two boys again will fight: "Kahwin dgn aku.." "TAK AH! KAHWIN DGN AKU... AKU YG BESAR.." etc etc.. Those were the memories...
ARGH! HOW?!! Terpaksalah I have to give it a miss! Nanti apa pulak kata my relatives: "Tak abis-abis dgn dianyer Hady Mirza...blah blah..." *I felt like crying already* I called my cousin and demand an explanation on why THAT PARTICULAR DATE! Why cant today?! Or on 26th April? Why must it be on 19th April? Grrrrr!!!!

HADY.. I GONNA MISS U... ALL THE BEST FOR APM, K? =D Speaking of APM, APM 2008 will be held at K.L Malaysia and definitely majority of the HapyHadys (esp the Fan Paling Heboh winner - SV! U dah popular ah.. My mum dah kenal banget dgn ur face! Ur face was in the Berita Harian a few days ago.. hahaha) are going! There's a busloads of HapyHadys going there next week, according to Warna 94.2FM (or was it Ria 89.7FM - Not so sure, I was inside my step dad's car so aint that sure which malay radio station he listens to..) I confirmed with a few HapyHadys and WoW! I got this as a reply, "Yes! The travel agency reserve the whole bus for HapyHadys!"
Woah.. SEMANGAT HAPYHADYS! BE SURE TO ENJOY URSELF AND NOT ONLY SHOUT OR SCREAM FOR HADY... FOR OTHERS AS WELL, SUPPORT LOCAL TALENTS!!!!

That chinese guy from Myspace (Yes, like what I have ranted in this blog: I have met him that day - however he wish to meet me again, at the same plc which I find it boring and who knows in the near future, he may try to do some 'naughty' things? Whatever it is, stay as friends and just be careful), if u wanna know how he looks like.. to be precise: curious to know how he looks like... He looks like this Channel 8 actor: Adam Chen. That same hair, that same smile, that same mouth, that same nose, that same eyes, that same voice.. Yes! I watched Channel 8 dramas (since I was in pri 2 - Chew Chor Meng was the actor that catches my attention 17 yrs ago.. :D) and definitely I can recognize Adam Chen's voice.. *grin* Aint sure whether that MySpace friend of mine has similar ears and eyebrows though.. :D Unsure how Adam Chen looks like? He did add me before then he removed himself from the list informing me that he wish for his profile to be private.. He didnt want my friends to know how he looks like ah.. Hmm.. Strange.. Hahaha.. Maybe he is afraid that my friends may 'spy' on him... Hmm... maybe lah.. LoL.. Anyway, yup..he really looks like Adam Chen.. =) I am a mighty red LIVERPOOL FAN forever... According to The New Paper on Sunday (I forgot dated 23 March 2008) LIVERPOOL is number ONE in SINGAPORE!! Surprising! Hahaha.. All along I thought its FYI: My step dad, my mum, my grandmother (yes, I kid u not..My grandmother watches soccer and WWE...yes! My lovely grandmother watches WWE.. her all time fav WWE star: UNDERTAKER), a few of my relatives as well as myself supports the mighty red Liverpool FC. My younger sis supports This is gonna be in malay: Ahh!! My fav song is currently playing rite now: KEKASIH GELAPKU - UNGU.. Hmm, can I change the lyric and the title to Kekasih Fairku? Hahahaha... Manalah tau once I did that, I sing that Kekasih Fairku, I got ehem ehem ehem.. who is fair... who knows.. might be 
MANCHESTER UNITED.. coz almost every one I know supports that team! Including the majority of HapyHadys and the Asian Idol, Hady Mirza! Jeng Jeng Jeng... The NEW Paper on Sunday reveals that LIVERPOOL tops the chart!! Nyaahaha..Manchester United.. She didnt watch soccer.. She supports Man Utd just because of this Christiano guy (whats his name - Christiano .... ? *scratches head*) and my dear bro supports CHELSEA. My late grandfather supports Everton FC.. Huh? EVERTON?! 
Aku tahu aku mmg sudah mengundur diri.. Bila dia MSN, aku tak mau chat diamkan sahaja.. Hmm.. that day, dia online.. dia yg mulakan chatting di MSN dgn "Assalamualaikum.." Sebagai seorang Islam, seharusnya aku menjawab salam itu.. so selepas menjawab.. perbualan mcm biasa.. Tapi tidak semesra dulu.. Aku tiada lagi sms dia seperti dulu: sms yg padaku normal dan hanya utk bermanja-manja. However, kita tetap kawan. Kawan seperti biasa. Aku tak mau menimbulkan masalah lagi so aku kurangkan sms ku pada nya.. Namun, aku gembira kerana dia masih ingat the title yg dia berikan ku: Nurse. Yes...panggilan yg dia berikan kpd aku walaupun aku dan dia tau aku bukan seorang nurse.. *shrugs*HADY? :D *impossible - dream on lady!*
