I have been busy yesterday surfing the net at Aloha Cybercafe @ Ginza Plaza. I was busy searching for new template design for my blog. Cant find any which to me, is attractive enuff, so I'll have to stick with this design again TEMPORARY.
Not only was I busy searching for new template design, I was also busy reading messages in my friendster. U see, 2 to 3 weeks ago, I asked a few members of friendster who was in JURONG INSTITUTE batch 2000 to 2002, if they knw sumone in Commerce class.
Actually last year n late 2003, I'd asked diff pple n some of da answers put a smile on my face. Coz they heard of him, noticed him in da institute. I got to knw he was in Commerce class n went to SCDF - Singapore Civil Defence Force frm one of them last year.
So this year, I'd asked da same question 2a few more other ex-Jurong Institute students. Each n every one of them gave me a disappointment answer > knw him but wasnt close, heard of his name b4 but not sure..
One of them, I think his name is Yuhan. His name was a bit of a disappointment I can say coz he replied my msg: I lost contact with him after A Levels. He has changed contacts. Y not u try asking (blah, blah) in my friendster list..maybe he could help.
So, i got referred from a person to another person just 2find out more abt him. I wanted to help my friends to be able to contact him coz like wat Yuhan had said, he changed contacts.
I knw u will say: Let ur friends do da asking, y muz bother? Well, like as if u dun knw.. u have been my companion when im sad, happy, angry.. I wrote down everything abt my daily happenings in a book. Now tat I have a blog..I dun have to buy a diary book to write..just typed it all out here.
Diary, like as if u dun knw.. I have always been writing to u abt him.. So u shld knw da reason Y i am searching high n low for him. I guess, u shld knw by now who I was searching for. For those of u who r reading this..if u wanna be a kepo to knw who i was searching for.. plz recall or go back to da entry dated: 2 February n 22 February 2005. Dun worry, there will be a continuation of it in da future.
In fact, i will rewrite my past entries from my diary book in year 1999 to my blog. Like I'd said previously.. THIS IS MY BLOG! I'LL DO WATEVER I WANT!
I hope my search will not end in vain. I hope 2get some new information. PLZ DO NOT TELL ME.. He stays in CCK, in SCDF, blah blah.. NO NEED COZ I knw all that. Before he went to Jurong Institute, I knw he has moved from Clementi to CCK Blk 451..sumwhere around there.
So, i hope to get some new information. Huh? Email address? His email (Enharmonic3) is NO LONGER IN USED. Like wat Yuhan had replied me, he changed contacts as in changing hp numbers n email addresses.
*Hey since u knw he's staying in CCK, y not juz go find him there?* Hah, I'm not very familiar with CCK. U wan me to lose my way?

This is da second time happen 2me! WHY?!! Argh!! Why am I da unlucky one? Argh! Was it becoz my student ID? Look, I was from DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER n had to retain my ID which starts with 0103. Those who are formerly Business students, had to use ID starting with 0111. So was it becoz of MY ID STARTS WITH 0103, ALWAYS HAVE THIS PROBLEM!!!
Wat problem?! Ok.. Exams on 4 March 2005(for me as i'm taking WA204: IT MANAGEMENT). I do not know da actual commence date for exams. Who cares ryt?! And usually our exam entry card will be ready one week b4 da exams.
As u knw, I cant access my internet at home coz my internet's down. The modem is working perfectly fine, coz my laptop said there was an internet connection but when I opened up my internet browser, it ALWAYS stated: Error!! Argh!
So, to check my mails or surfing around, I'll have to go outside (Aloha, preferably), surf secretly in my office or if I have da time, I'll drop by WESSC n surf da net there. Yesterday, I went to school for a revision class. Since I was in school, y not I asked da school to print out da exam entry card for me..
I was very pissed. All my classmates had their entry card in da IVC - INFORMATICS VIRTUAL CAMPUS. Some of them had printed theirs,while some hadnt. I cant access da internet, like I've said, how to print? So I asked da school to print for me.
To my anger n disappointment, da sch done it again! Last semester or shld i say last year in December, was my FIRST TIME EVER TO TAKE DEGREE EXAM n I remembered how enthusiast I was.
I took 2 subjects last year AND da school DID REGISTER BOTH subjects BUT in my EXAM ENTRY card, only stated one: which is Marketing n IT WAS DA WRONG ONE!! I am in BACHELOR sCIENCE(HONS) BUSINESS ADMIN NOT IN HIGHER DIPLOMA IN MARKETING!!! So da sch had to write one whole page of report 2 da invigilator to let me sit for MARKETING DEGREE PAPER!! Argh!
The other subject, if u have guess it correctly, it was Accounting. Accounting WASNT IN MY EXAM ENTRY CARD!! So again, da school had to last minute make an entry card for me. Dont u find it very annoying for da students??
This semester, I took only one subject. And STILL SAME PROBLEM!!! I went to da Operations Dept in my school with my classmates. They waited for me while I went to a counter 2ask one of their staff 2help me print my exam entry card.
Like I've said, to my anger n disappointment, my entry card wasnt ready YET!! WHY! I told them other students have their entry card ready/printed. They said, they understood my problem n there was nothing they can do!! *Wat?!* Wat they told me was to try again on Monday. And to call da school look for Sandra(i think, tats da name) if on Monday, my entry card still isnt IN!!!
Darn! I told them tat I have exam tis coming Friday (4 March). Wanna knw wat they told me? "U can come on tat day n we will print da entry card at da last minute for u." HELLO!! LAST YEAR MY EXAM WAS SCHEDULED AT 2PM!! THIS YEAR, MY EXAM is in da MORNING 9.30AM!! They came to work at 8.45am. I had told them tat my exam which is on friday is in da morning. And they told me, to come on Thursday evening? Huh?! I have 2waste my transport fare just to go to da sch to ask abt my entry card? Rubbish ryt! Besides, I will have to teach tuition at WESSC on Thursday!
ARGH!! I'm so pissed!! Damn pissed!! Why!! During my Diploma n Advanced Diploma, my exam entry card was OK. No problem at all!! But when i just started out MY DEGREE, THEY DID THIS KIND OF THING TO ME!! DUN U FIND IT IRRITATING?!?!

Today is 24th February. A good friend of mine, goes by da name of Ainu Farihah Binte Abdul Rahim or just AINN, has turned 23 TODAY. Yeap! Her birthday's is on 24 February. She is now 23! Wow! How time flies.. she is already past 21! This coming June, she will be finishing her studies at SIA-Lasalle College of Arts. I am not too sure if she wished to continue to a degree level.
Have u take a good look at her pic? Does she look familiar? Hehe.. Remember her in HEARTLANDERS SEASON 1? (C'mon Maria, u had already stated tat she acted in tat show several times!!) Heh.. Well, couldnt help it lah.. Hah
Today is her 23rd birthday n me, Amy Maria wld like to wish her all da best in her future endeavours.. I wanted 2call her on her hp 2wish her but it seems dat she didnt pay her bills again.. Sigh..

Today is Racial Harmony Day. I came to school this morning with a "baju kurung". Since today's a special day and the school allows their students to wear traditional clothes, so wat the heck!
Hafidz Basri came and guess what? He wore "baju melayu"! He looked elegant in his traditional clothes. Huh? The other guys? Forget abt them! "Dah kemaruk dgn baju sekolah sangat ke pe?!" Not supportive at all!
Anyway, Hafidz Basri wore a green "baju melayu". Hmm.. green and yellow, matches rite? Huh? Well,ok, wat I meant is.. it was such a coincidence ("mcm berjanji") that he wore green n I wore yellow. Islamic colours: Green n yellow!
The funny thing is: He WAS THE ONLY ONE IN HIS CLASS AND THE ONLY ONE IN WHOLE OF SEC 4 wearing traditional clothes! Wat happened with the rest of them? So unsupportive!

I was very happy today! Firstly, there was no school becoz of Cross Country Race 1998. This is the 2nd year, Jin Tai organised this inter class cross country. Last year, I didnt join coz I wasnt selected. This year, I wasnt selected but I still participated in it as I volunteered! Haha!
Secondly, I WON 20th position! I couldnt believe I can be in Top 20.. Hmm, that means I still can have the energy to run? Coz I dun like to run, I dun like to jog! I prefer to walk! During the race, I spent more time in walking than jogging or running in a slow pace. But I still made it?! Unbelievable!
So, since I won the Top 20 singles competition, I won for myself a medal! When I was receiving my medal, to be precise, Hafidz Basri clapped! Yup, he was there! Tell u more after the next paragraph.
Hah! I told my mum and she said: "Tak hairan! Mak dulu every year, Top3! Kau baru Top 20! Sudahlah!"
After completing the race, I sat down. I was actually searching for Rosliah and Faridah when I heard my name been called. I turned behind and saw F.J (one of the band members).
Remember, I wrote b4 that Hafidz Basri, F.J and another of their friend make up a band and they named their band: FAST FOWARD and won Second in Talentime 1998? Ok,so, F. J was walking with Hafidz Basri when he called my name and i turned at him.
U know wat he said to me: "Maria, Hafidz, Hafidz " (pointing at Hafidz Basri). I just looked away coz I couldnt be bothered. But guess what? When F.J was pointing at him, he smiled at me. Alamak! I blushed "kat situ jugak tau!"

I was filled with joyfulness. I won a prize for TOP READER in J.T.S.S. Well, I am a bookworm. I love to read!
I read a total of 66 books for that year! Huh! No big deal! In some schools, their students read more than that in a year!
Hafidz Basri was not in school! He cant witness me receiving the prize! Da other Hafidz also wasnt in school. I dun care him. Hehe. However, Nasir, Suresh, Nazrul and Hisham was there.
I am so famous! When the Miss Tan Peck Joon (the teacher in charge of library) announced my name, da Sec 3(some of them) and majority of Sec 4 n 5 guys cheered by saying: "Power ah, Amy Maria!" I was blushing while walking towards the stage! Oh my!

On 19 Feb, tat was yesterday, da supervisor invited 10 volunteers of West Coast Student Service Centre for a CNY dance n dinner. It starts at 7pm but we went there from WESSC at 7.30pm. I reached WESSC at 6.45pm plus n minus. While i was at WESSC waiting to go to West Coast C.C at 7.30pm sharp, my bouncy friend: Mujib called me at around 7pm. :) We talked of course!
It has been a long time since he called. I couldnt even recognize him! He sounded like my sec sch friend: Firdaus (Bob) n he used a private number to call me. So i thought he was Firdaus calling me up just 2have a great chat. But gosh! I was wrong! It wasnt Firdaus! He was MUJIB!! Alamak! Mujib, if u r reading this, i wld like 2say sorry again for not recognizing ur voice coz u sounded different n sounded just like Firdaus! Lucky Mujib gave me some clues.
First, he asked (translate 2English): "How many outside friends u have?" I answered, "Outside friends? Hmm.. not counting from Informatics, Thames?" He went: "Yeah". So again, I think. I told him tat I have a lot of outside friends mostly girls n only a few guys. When he heard me mentioning da word 'guys', he asked further who are they. I told him, Nasrin, Mujib, Harris, Mokhtar n Rashidee. And he further added: "Da name 'Mujib' sounds familiar, like as if I knw da person." So, definitely I knw tat muz be him >> MUJIB.
I apologized 2him coz I couldnt recognize his voice. He was ok coz he said he hadnt been calling me only smsing me so he understood if i couldnt recognize his voice. Moreover, he used a private number 2call me. I have a few friends who has private numbers: Firdaus(Bob), Nazrul(Alun) n a few others. And also, I seldom called him. I only called him n my other friends if I have some problems. Last year, there ARE a LOT of PROBLEM happening 2me. After tat, we kept on contact through SMS.
We chatted for about 15 mins. He told me tat Kak Lenny, my 'kakak angkat' who is his cousin-in-law, is now pregnant. ALHAMDULLILAH. She got married on 28 December 2003 n she is now pregnant for da third time. Da first 2 time, da pregnancy didnt work out. Hopefully for dis 3rd pregnancy, everything turns out well. :)
At 7.30pm sharp, we got ready n headed down 2 WEST COAST C.C.When we reached there abt 10 mins later, wat a lot of pple!! There are like close to 3000 pple!! Majority of them are definitely Chinese. There are some Indians n Malays as well. I saw... Mohd Khabir n family! He was frm my sec sch. He was in da same batch as BAIKHAKKI KHAIZAN. Me senior, da two of them junior. By one year only lah. My family knws Khabir's family well. Strangely, me n Khabir didnt talk 2each other when we were in sec sch. He mixed around with his mates of da same batch n talked 2 some of da coolest seniors. I wasnt cool back then. I became popular after I joined Talentime. Only then, he did talk 2me but only for a while n then no communication after tat. Dont u find it odd coz his late maternal grandmother n my maternal grandmother were best friends during their 'kampung' days, n we (da grandchildren) happen 2b in same sch didnt talk 2each other?
During da CNY dinner n dance, Khabir noticed me! His table was directly across ours (da volunteers) n he was looking around n he saw me n he smiled n nodded. I smiled back. Hmm.. back in sec sch, he didnt even smile at me. Well, all of us had grown up.
I CANT BELIEVE DA SUPERVISOR OF WESSC KNOWS Khabir's maternal GRANDFATHER, Tuk Leman!! He told 2da volunteers dat Tuk Leman is his president or sumthing. Gosh! Great! Wat a small world.
Then, I saw another friend of mine from Informatics. Khairul. He was one of da malay guys serving different kind of dishes 2da malay families. He went 2our table quite a few times but I didnt manage 2distract him or say 'Hi' coz i dun wan da other younger volunteers 2 'anggap' me as 'gatal, tak leh jumpa lelaki'. Oh plezz.. But then again, I shldnt care ryt? Just say HI to Khairul, since he's my friend. And I did after...
I went 2da toilet. YUCKS! Dirty! So, i decided not 2go, just bear with it n did once i got home! Hah. And when I was abt 2sit down, Khairul came 2our table again 2serve another dish for da night. Then I distract him n he nodded n said 'hi' n i asked him, dun knw if he could hear me coz our table was very near 2 a big amplifier. I asked him, if he worked 2help serve da dishes. I dun knw if he heard me so he just nodded.

This has become a really dormant avenue for me. It seems like i have so little time that blogging is well, just a pass time thing. And today, i shall blog.
Shall i or shall i not? This is da question which has been pondering me. Dira's friend wants to sell her NOKIA 3650 to me coz i kinda like da phone n i have neva use a Nokia handphone b4. I dun mind it is 2nd hand. In fact, Dira's friend bought da phone since Jan last year and she only used it twice n till now didnt even use it at all coz she has another Nokia phone: 6600. So she wants to sell her Nokia 3650 to whoever willing to pay her $320.
Dira told me tat her friend said trade in are welcome and of course da price is lesser than $320. She approached me in da middle of January. At tat time, i was thinking of trading in my Motorola V220. I wld have 2pay $200 for nokia 3650.
On 2nd thoughts, I dun wish to trade in my Motorola which I just used it since October last year. So shall i or shall i not trade in my motorola for nokia 3650?
If i didnt trade in, i will only have to buy nokia 3650 from Dira's friend, i will have 2 phones.. If one of my family members found out..sure one of them will b asking questions. I dislike tat. Its like, u knw NO FREEDOM. Cant I make a decision on my own?!
Bring 2 hps wherever i go, so tat none of da family members know? I dun think i will do tat. But i will if I am left with no choice.
Sighing.. Since da day Dira approached me, I have been contemplating abt this. I didnt agree to buy it, I juz told her, "I will get back 2u by end of february whether i want 2buy frm ur frend anot." Now, it is already 11 feb. I have like 19 days 2 tell her wat is my decision.
Argh!!! I really dun knw wat to do!! The decision is in my hands not my family members! I am already 21! No way, will i let any of them decide my own life! Ryt, i will think it over carefully n let's see how.

3 June 1998
I wanted to write this since early Feb but keeps forgetting. But now, I had to write as it is da same thing happen today. Since this happens to me for more than once, i guess, i have to write.
Muhd Hafidz Basri.. I am not trying to say that I am "S.S(Shock Sendiri)" or "Perasan" but I think..(just a wild, innocent guess) that maybe he has a crush on me..
Today is da 2nd time he did tat. Did wat? well, the first time I got to know him was when he and I hit against each other's shoulders when we were buying food during recess time. It was after Hari Raya Puasa and before Talentime 1998. I apologised to him because I didnt mean to "langgar" him. Instead of saying: "its ok" or "neva mind", he winked at me and walked off. Huh? At that time,i didnt care much coz I have only this thought on my mind: "I think there's something wrong with his eyes".
The 2nd time is today at Ginza Plaza-McDonalds. After my Physics remedial lessons, I went to McDonalds to eat hash brown and I met him again! Well, we are in the same sch (but from diff class - he's in sec 4 n I am in sec 3) but we seldom bumped into each other in sch except that fateful day and of course during his band performance for Talentime 1998. His band(he - the lead singer n lead guitarist) won SECOND.
So, today is my 3rd time bumping into him. I'd always go to any fast food restaurant alone WITHOUT any friend accompanying me.. why? Well,when I eat.. I wsihed to eat alone.. why? Concentrate on the food lah! If eat with friends, no concentration! Only distraction and disturbance!
As I was saying, I was alone at McDonalds.. So was he! He was sitting where I could still see him!(But I had to make sure, he did not notice). After he had finished his breakfast meal(wat a heavy appetite!) he stood up and winked at me once again! I thought he was winking at other girls so, Iturned and looked all around the restaurant.. No other girls in sec sch uniforms there! So, that means, he really winked at me..
Huh? So coincidential? Why was there always something in his eyes whenever he saw me? Becoz of that,he had to wink at me with his handsome face! Hah.. *Maria, dun get too excited as yet, it is just getting started*
30 June 1998
Today, all Sec 4 Normal Acad pupils came! They had Preliminary exam - English paper 1. And guesswhat? Of course, Hafidz Basri was there and he went home together with me. Huh? No lah! I mean we took the same bus home. But..
While he was in the bus, he didnt smile at me. He acted as if he did not know me. He pulled a longface. Was it becoz of my hair? (Well, I've cut my hair short) or was it becoz of the paper? Sigh..Maybe he didnt notice me.
13 July 1998
At 10.35 am (that was already 10 mins recess, 15 mins to go), I saw Hafidz Basri. Yeah (2x), no big deal BUT for 2day, he kept looking at me. *Yeah(2x) everytime when I wrote abt him is always"he looked at me" *
I was with my Chinese classmates and as they talked to one another in Mandarin which I dun understandso while I was drinking my iced milo, i looked here and there.
When I turned and saw a glance of him, I saw him smiling at me and nodding his head. Hmm, I dun think he was smiling at me becoz he was talking to his friend who said something that made him smile.
However, after that, he looked at me like not the usual way. He looked/stared at me and latersmiled. I was stunned. I dun know wat the hell I was thinking so I just smile at him! Gosh!
