New Year Resolution for Year 2005
Hmm..to lose weight of course! *Grinning*. For the past year, I have been slacking and not watching wat I eat. I did not discipline myself to slim down. I just eat when I feel like it. When I am stress, I also eat. When I need to solve problems and need to think, I eat then I can think. I am not saying tat I am Fat coz my weight hasnt reached 60Kg. So for the past year of 2004, I have been gaining extra kgs n phew! Lucky my weight doesnt reach 60kg. It is almost. So my new year resolution is 2 lose down weight. Discipline myself!

Since tmr is CHRISTMAS DAY, Monday will b a public holiday for my company. So, tat means I WONT HAVE TO COME TO WORK ON a Monday blues! Hah!
Then on da following Tuesday (28 Dec), my new semester for UOW starts. Next semester, I will only b having classes on every Tuesday. Lucky da sch gave me on Tuesday if on other days ESP Wed n Thur.. I will not b in a mood to watch my fav show: WWE Raw n WWE Smackdown. Hah
More good news. Next Tuesday, I wont have to go to Tanjong Pagar for my lessons anymore. Have u heard da news in THE STRAITS TIMES, dated November 9? Informatics will b moving to a new campus in Jurong East! So all the Informatics branch: Tanjong Pagar, Funan IT Mall, Plaza by the Park, Prinsep House and Woodlands >> ALL will moved to da new campus in Jurong East, which is next to da Science Centre. Remember Pioneer Junior College? Pioneer Junior College has moved to a new place so da building Informatics bought for its new campus! Very near! From Tiong Bahru, I travelled to Jurong East. After class, I'l just have to take bus. No need to wait for da MRT. Wont b reaching home at 11.15pm(Tat is if my mum n dad didnt fetch me, if they did.. I'l reach hm at 10.45PM becoz of own transport. Hehe)

The name of her son? Well, we (Rosliah, Faridah n myself) do not know the Full name. But we only knw tat her son's name is "sumthing" Haq. Hmm.. it could be Al-Haq. Zulhaq. Farhaq.

I am feeling a little under the weather. I wanna update u about yesterday event. Yesterday we went to Bukit Panjang Plaza. Starhub had this Roadshow Special. So we went. My mum wanted to sign up for a new mobile line. She is not using her SingTel line anymore. Since she had already used her name in Starhub for Khalid, she asked me to sign up my name for her. I agreed.
She bought NOKIA 3220 at a discounted price. However, she is not using. She said: "Leceh, ada camera." So, she passed it to Atikah. However, the line which I signed up for her is NOT for Atikah but her. Get wat I mean? My mum said, Atikah had to use a prepaid card.
Also, our dad wished to have a new mobile phone. He didnt want to upgrade his NOKIA 8250 for a new one. So, he bought for $0 NOKIA 3120! Haha! He had to signed up for another 2 years. Wat will he do to NOKIA8250? Well, he will pass to Khalid. Then wat happened to Khalid's phone(NOKIA 3315)?
Well, tat phone, my mum will use. Quite complicated and confusing huh? Well, it is indeed! Hah! So, the title odd one out is becoz of 2 things: ALL 4 MEMBERS OF DA FAMILY USING NOKIA PHONES! I AM THE ONLY ONE USING MOTOROLA!!
Reason 2: ALL 4 MEMBERS OF DA FAMILY'S HP number starts with 9 except for ATIKAH. Hers starts with a number 8! Yup, lucky number 8! Surprising huh? A prepaid card starts with number 8.. Huh!

Hooray!! So happy! I HAVE GOT A JOB! Where? Well, the company is at 14th floor of Central Plaza. For those of u who didnt know where is Central Plaza, it is next to Tiong Bahru Plaza. Cool.. I can go there shopping hahaha!
Well.. this job...i still got paid $700 per month just like my previous job BUT this is becoz it is part time.. I DO NOT NEED TO COME AT 8.30AM TILL 5.30PM! My working hours are from 1pm to 5.30pm.. $.5 hrs of work with $700 pay.. Worth it ryt? My pervious job was from 9am to 3.30 pm.. 6.5 hrs also given $700 pay.
Ok..Actually I have applied to this job since 8 November but i received a call from them on 24 November telling me tat I was shortlisted for an interview. Woah.. from 8 till 24..they selected suitable candidates for interviews?
On 25 November, as requested.. I came for the interview. The outcome of the interview was the same usual answer i got from my previous applications: We will call u once u r selected for the job/We will call u if u r shortlisted for the second interview. So..I was like "Forget it! All give same ans! Confirm wont get! They gave priority to their pple (Chinese) first!" But I was WRONG!
Yesterday.. I received a call from Carolyn..the lady who interviewed me on 25 November. She called to say that the Director and Sales Manager have selected me for the part time administrative position. I was overwhelmed with joy!
Today..I went to that company.. I was told to come to sign an Appointment letter. Woah..they got everything ready for me. Carolyn said that my desk is beside hers and they already set up my office email account! Cant u believe it? I have an office email account? Gosh!Oh yeah! The name of the company is Kyocera Communication Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. Since I am a Computer Studies majoring in Networks and Communications graduate, I think maybe that was the reason why I was selected for the job because this company is a Telecommunications industry.
See? I told u. People out there wants to look for suitable candidates for any vacant position in their company NOT BECOZ OF THE WAY PEOPLE DRESS! It was becoz of relevant/related qualifications and work experience.Wait a minute! My working place is at Central Plaza ryt? Which is next to Tiong Bahru Plaza.. I met Haizad there! Yes! At Tiong Bahru Plaza!
Remember? Ok..if u dun.. go to my archives (September) and it was on 27 or 28.. Hmm..maybe if luck is with me..I may able to c him again and this time..since I have a camera phone.. I can took photos with him? Hehehe..
So..when will I be starting work? This coming Monday 13 December. Damn! I cant watched my best friend, Ainn for the final time on tv on that day! Well..if u have been reading my entry on 4,6 and 8 December.. u will knw wat was going on. As I have said... there will be a repeat telecast of Heartlanders Season 1 and my best friend Ainn was in the episodes 5,6 and 9. I watched her again for episodes 5 and 6 which was on my birthday and 8 December. 13 December will be the 9th episode. I cant watched la! Darn! Well..its ok..she is my friend.. I will still be able to c or meet her ryt?! Hehehe..

This is me when I was 7 or 8 months old. I was doing some cleaning up during Hari Raya eve and found this, so I took it from my camera phone.. I have no scanner at home how to scan n put this photo in the comp? So, I use my camera phone and took it.. I do have more of my baby photos but I cant send it ALL from my phone to my email! There are charges for it! So.. I send it one by one. Meanwhile.. enjoy looking at this one! Hehehe

I watched my friend, Ainn on tv yesterday and today. For those of u who r wondering.. wat the hell i was toking abt.. go to December 4 2004 entry and read.
U knw when I first watched Heartlanders 2 years ago.. I said this in my mind: Cant believe my friend can act this well! I am proud of her.
I still remembered that I smsed to all my gang of friends abt Ainn appearing in Heartlanders Season 1 2 years ago. I can still remembered Suresh replied this: "Are my eyes playing tricks on me or is tat really our Ainn on tv?"
Haha... I replied to him: YES, it is our Ainn on TV! Cool, first is Nana and now her. When is it gonna be our turn? Hehehe
And Suresh replied: Dun worry, one day all of us(my gang of friends, we called ourselves 7-11 coz we're consists of 7 gals and 11 guys) will be actors and actresses. Hahahaha

Yesterday, I saw one of my fav Channel 8 actress, Chen Li Ping. Where? Near my AREA lah. Behind Blk 730 and Blk 731, the carpark area. She was there with a group of of extras and crew to shoot a drama serial.
Was it my first time seeing Channel 8 actress shot for a drama? NOPE! More than once! Hey, I'm not exaggerating ok! Its true! I "witness" Mark Lee and Patricia Mok at Ginza Plaza early last year shooting for episode 80 plus(Holland V). Holland V was a hit long running drama last year. Holland V had 125 episodes in all. The main stars in Holland V were: Chen Li Ping, Jeannette Aw, Xiang Yun, Mark Lee, Patricia Mok, Cynthia Koh, Pierre Png, Vivian Lai, Jamie Yeo, Huang Wen Yong etc...
Also in early last year, I saw Sharon Au and Fiona Xie.. They were window shopping at Funan IT Mall. Yup! Its Funan IT Mall not Shopping Mall. I didnt c any cameraman and crew so I assumed they werent shooting for any drama or variety serial.
Then middle of this year, I happened to be at Plaza Singapura..waiting for my classmate, Gwen to go window shopping there. While I was waiting.. I saw Chen Li Ping and Huang Wen Y0ng shooting for a drama which was aired in Sept or Oct this year at 9pm. I didnt watch the drama coz it was aired at 9pm. My mum n grandma wanted to watch malay programs! *How to improve on my Mandarin?*

Phew! My exams for this semester are over! I can now go and search for jobs all the way till January next year. I think my new semester will start next year mid-January..
Anyway,I received an email from sumone who wants to know if Ainn(my best friend) is really an actress. Well, thanks for passing by my blog and here is my answer to u:
Nope she isnt. She was a model from year 2001 to year 2002. Hey, only beautiful pple with beautiful face, legs and body can be a model. She signed up a 1 year contract with a modelling agency - tats y she cant go to Nanyang Poly Sch of Design in July 2001(she passed) becoz of her modelling contract.
The producer of Heartlanders saw her with a group of other models during a fashion show and approached them. They(include Ainn) were asked to go to MediaCorp for an audition for an upcoming new drama series. All of them went. Ainn told me tat she thought she didnt make the cut becozno phone calls for her for abt a week.
2 weeks after the auditions, the executive producer of Heartlanders called Ainn. She was shocked! So she went to MediaCorp studios to sign a 3-month agreement. (The shoots for Hearlanders took 3 months for 3 episodes, i repeat: She appeared in episode5,6 and 9). She agreed and signed and was given a script home to look through.
And there u have her in Heartlanders Season 1 acting as Zarina, Corporal Jamal's (Aaron Aziz) girlfriend.I'm proud of her. Oh b4 I forget, she is Fairuz Abd Jalil(the E.C actor)'s ex-gf.

1. Ainn - my best friend
Yesterday, I went home after visiting WESSC. When I reached home, I switched on the tv. It was Channel 5. The drama shown on Channel 5 was "Heartlanders". The first season. Yesterday was the first episode. I switched to other channels coz i have watched it already BUT i will watch for episode 5,6 and 9. WHY? My best friend, Ainn acted in the first season of Heartlanders in the episodes i mentioned. Shame on tat person who called her a f****** daughter of a Babe In Total Control of Herself.
In case some of u are wondering wat is Heartlanders, well the drama Heartlanders was aired on tv in year 2002. The drama starring Vincent Ng with co-star Aaron Aziz. As I mentioned just now, Ainn acted in episode 5,6 and 9 ryt? Well, she played the role of Aaron (Corporal Jamal)'s girlfriend, Zarina. Remember? If u dont, then tune it on next week for episodes 5,6 and 9. OK? Coz Heartlanders' repeat telecast will be on every Mon to Fri 3.30PM.
2. Britney Spears
Today is BRITNEY SPEARS' 23rd Birthday!! Hey, we(me and her) shared the same month of birthday! Thats why, she's my favourite artiste! I have been supporting her since year 1999. Am i her number one fan? Well,i cant boast and said tat.. Some pple wont be too happy.
3. Taufik, our Singapore Idol winner
Congratulations to TAUFIK!!! for winning the first Singapore Idol!! I was screaming in my heart man when Gurmit announced the winner!!! Hey, i didnt know tat Hazrul Nizam is Taufik's cousin. Last nite, both he and Sly performed Hoobastank's The Reason. Man! I was melted rite in front of the TV set! They sang one of my fav songs for this year, who could I not melt? Did I vote? YUP! For 22 times!!! Actually I can vote for more if the server didnt suffer from network congestion! Hahaha..
However Hamka, my Informatics friend who believed that Singapore Idol is so-called a lame show has this to say:
I was glad to be wrong. Yah...I'm happy he won too.
just remember, it doesn't matter.
I'm a skeptic, I just think that its very hard for Taufik to make it big.
When I asked why. He said this:
Just remember the American idol, there was this fat black guy who won the competition, Ruben wasn't it ? Versus the skinny white guy.
The skinny white guy lost but after they produce albums, the white guy ended up making more money and was the bigger start.
Ruben was a nobody. But at the end of the day, I think both won't go very far beyond, one album. They are "actors" on a tv show.
They'll soon be replaced by the next set of "actors", they'll soon be forgotten.
Name me one idol that produce hits in sequence one album after another.
I couldnt answer tat question coz Kelly Clarkson has two albums, Clay is in process of second album and Rubert... neva heard of his news.. And he said:

on a parting note, I just wanted to say, I voted for taufik yesterday. I just wanted to be proven wrong. I wanted to believe that Singaporeans are no longer impartial when in comes to races.
I guess, I was just glad. That I'm wrong.
Well, watever it is, Idol fever has gone! Wait a min! Idol fever is not gone!!! Next year, January 2005, there will be American Idol Season 4! Then as usual some time in June, will be Singapore Idol Season 2! Idol fever will be on and on forever!! Will it stop?
Argh! Tmr is my exam! I better stop and go back to study.

I am now at WESSC. I am changing my interface for my blogspot. My new interface/layout of my blogspot will be ready by MY BIRTHDAY!!! Oh yeah! Not forgetting, my Doodleboard will b back by 7 Dec too! My exams are on 3 n 4 December and as promised, I will put my doodle board back to my blogspot.
