It was lunch time. Boring sia always eat at Level 3 canteen so i wanna eat at somewhere else.. My choices are Clementi, IMM and Jurong East the nearest.. But my boss wants to meet his client somewhere at Tiong Bahru, he gave me a lift and I don wish to let him waste petrol so I asked him to drop me at Tiong Bahru Plaza.. I wanna try the foodcourt there.
So, after my lunch, I relaxed for a while when I saw a familiar face on TV. You've guess it!! The familiar face is HAIZAD IMRAM Singapore Idol semi-finalist/wildcard!! He was standing beside me; waiting for someone or something..
As u know, I am a very shy type of person.. I am a bit scared to meet new pple or to ask around.. But I plucked up the courage to approach him.
I bravely said "Hi" to him n asked how things so far after Wildcard show. He said, "Fine and great". I also asked how come he wasnt working today.. He said he is in the night shift today.. I didnt want to ask him which hospital he worked at coz I may blurted out here in my blogspot and who knows his fans happened to read my blog and then go to tat particular hospital and SERBU..
Since, I am helpful..I like to help my friends lah..U know wat I asked him? I asked something which a girl is too shy to ask but as I've said, i want to help my friends who are "in love" with Haizad, I asked him for his number. He asked me wateva for. TERUS TERANG I told him the number is NOT FOR ME BUT for my friends.
He said, he wld love to give BUT he told me: I have a gal already.(See, as wat I'd expected..a guy with a professional career n a handsome face, definitely has a gf)
I just smiled when he said that. U knw wat I said 2him? " Lucky, u met me, if u met y friends, they die-die want ya number; force u to give them ya number" Haizad gave a cheeky laugh/sheepish smile. (sorry gerls >> fans of haizad, he's TAKEN)
I actually wanna take a photo with him for memorance n as a proof tat i met him.. BUT my hp has NO CAMERA function!!! Dratz!
Just received my hp bills haha.. Remember I vote 22 times for Haizad during Wildcard show? Hehe.. FIRST TIME my hp bill shoots up to $102 and how many cents was it..WOW.. Do I look worry? U damn rite..I do BUT it doesnt matter ryt? Coz i paid for my own bills..

Guess where am I? I am in school!! Yup.. While on the way to school, I met another of my best friend, Faridah's mum. She asked me how was I getting along and I said fine as usual. SHe asked me where was I going.. I told her to school..and she said: "All ya friends ah..start working already..u n Faridah..same.. study n study... " *Grinz*
Ok, while waiting to start class at 7pm, I went to a room which has computer plus internet connection and surf!! Haha.. I wanted to post for today's entry but i have no time at home.. From work, go home then have a shower b4 going off again for class..so i saved this into a diskette and brought it to school and open it up and post it..

Ever since I put up Haizad's photo in my blog, I have been receiving some tag messages/emails telling me thanks for dropping by to their blog, aawww..haizad didnt make it..too bad..
I think Haizad had to pay me advertising fees coz it is like I am advertising him (his pictures for gerls to drool over) in my blog!! Haha (Like as if he will!)
Alrite then, nothing to enter anymore so gurls..u wan to drool somemore? Sure! I will post more of his photos (the last few pictures..no more already!!) If u know my brother's blog, he did post a poem in his entry..ryt? Well, tat poem is for me but he said he has nothing to post so i ask him to post tat poem.. Mokhtar send me tat poem..
Speaking of Mokhtar, some of u may think tat there's something between us!! HELL NO!! He is only my abg angkat and nothing more than tat!! Y i am proud of him is becoz he is one in a million fillial son among those out there..
I did ask him y he is already in his late 20s and still no gf. He said tat having a gf can wait..Wat is more important is, DIA MEMBALAS JASA IBU BAPANYA.. because he said IBU BAPANYA YG TANGGUNG PERSEKOLAHANNYA DAN SKG DIA DAH BEKERJA, BIARLAH DIA MEMBALAS MEREKA.. Understand? Tats y..
He also told me tat he has a few more thousands to go and al his "debts" to his parents SELESAI but, he said MASIH TAK CUKUP. Why? DIA MAHU IBU BAPANYA MENUNAIKAN FARDHU HAJI. ITU ADALAH JANJINYA PADA DIRINYA SENDIRI.. He is a man of his word. Coz he said as the eldest son, ITU TANGGUNGJAWABNYA.. My mum and grandma had been bugging me 2 find another job(which earns $1.2k) A.s.A.p!! Argh! The payment for my degree course will be starting in Oct or Nov and I managed to ask if I can pay less - only $700 instead of $800. I didnt break the news to them. WHY? They will DEFINITELY ask me 2 quit!! I'm already half way through! NO WAY!
Why did they ask me 2 quit? Well, they told me to bargain the payment - asked if $500 is ok. If cannot get $500, they want me to QUIT!!
So in order for them not to know is, for me 2get a more paid job.Less burden n worries for them. Hmm, shall I work part time during weekends and at nite. Shal I work at a fast-food restaurant again?
But I scared I cant cope! And tat means, I am working 24-7(24 hours 7days a week). Monday and Friday after work, go for class Wed n Thur, gave tuition. If I got the job at Mcdonalds then Tuesday, Sat n Sun, I work. Wont tat be tiring? Then how to do revision? And if I am too tired, I WILL fall SICK!!
*Sigh* I dont know lah. This morning, my mum lectured me. She said: "Kau ada ramai kawan Cina kau tanyalah sama ada tempat kerja mereka ada kosong ke tak?Apasal mulut tu berat sangat?"
I understand that it is very hard for we, Malays to get a job UNLESS due to recommendation. This job of mine is due to recommendation. My mum's AIA Insurance agent recommended me tis job as a clerk and he blurted out tat I am stil studying, hence I worked part time and earn around $700plus.
Why do I say it is hard for the malays to get a job? If u've been reading the papers esp. Recruit/Classified section, u'll know why. ALL the job advertisements state: Bilingual in English n Mandarin, Chinese-speaking preferred, speaks and writes Chinese blah blah...
This tells me tat it is OBVIOUS tat Chinese pple are wanted! Goverment very bias! If chinese work, then Malays? Wat the malay gonna do? Then the malays study so high also no use lah.. if cant get job?! Indians? Well, the President of S'pore is S.R Nathan, he's an Indain. So, some companies hired the Indians in case those Indians complained to the President!
I think ah, it's 'Chinese conquer all'. Majority of the population are Chinese, so they want Chinese lah!
First example: My cousin. She'd graduated with Diploma in Biotechnology or Biomedical(no idea) from Singapore Polytechnic in August this year. She just started work 2 weeks ago. Is her job related to her field of study? NO. I heard from her mum tat a M'sian Chinese girl recommended my cousin tat job, lcoated at Bras Basah Road (NTUC Building).
Tat M'sian Chinese girl will be furthering her studies to Australia so my cousin replaced her BUT my cousin only work temporary til December! If tat M'sian girl didnt further her studies, I think she will work there permanently. See! So bias ryt!
Another example, Mokhtar's friend, Harris(read the Aug 8 entry). Harris, he graduated from Monash University, Australia with Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. And wat did he ended up working as for the past 3 years? 1.5 years as a security guard!! Cant u believe it?! A Mass Comm graduate worked as security guard! Then, now, he worked at Natural Cool Air-Conditioning as an aircon repairer. See, wasted ryt!
If only! If only! Argh!! Enuff abt all those stuffs! I dun wish to have a headache!!

Did I mention tat the Indian food stall was opened yesterday? Yes! They're back in business BUT only his mum and the cook are there! The triple noize guy wasnt there! Maybe, he was bz recording songs for Triple Noize's new album! I hope to get 2c him b4 I quit coz he promised 2 give me a poster adn a burn copy of his CD album for me! Aww... how nice of him!

Take ur time to read it.. for those who are NOT interested to read, just buzz off.. (I am still at werk, after tis entry, i go home, my working hours are from 9.30am to 3.30pm)
After lunch, Nazrul called me. Well, on Sat, he SMSed me asking me to give a look out for any private schs offering a diploma in medicine or psychology for his gal and a diploma in hotel management for himself.. He is more interested in hotel management than logistics.. So, i bought the Straits Times today and SMSed him all the information he needs.
Then to be sure, he called me just now around 12 plus, close to 1pm. He was shocked the moment he heard my voice. He asked if I am Maria... Duh! He called my number, definitely I AM MARIA!! Wanna know y he was shocked? Well, he said this: Hey, suara kau dah lain eh.. Dah 'matured' ah.. Amacam kau baik? (Your voice now different. Sounds more mature. How are u?)
Huh? My voice sound mature? Then how come there are still pple saying I need to GROW UP? Hmm, well, Nazrul knows me MORE than other pple do so I trust him. So, wat was my reply to him?

Haha.. Well, it is true tat I have been singing all day long but about joining Singapore Idol next year, tat..I am not too sure. But Nazrul said this: Apa nak kisah apa org ckp. Just go with the flow. (Dun care wat the heck others say, just go on and join > Singapore Idol). Hmm, but he himself said Singapore Idol is a Lame show, then if I join next year, will he watch? Will he vote for me? Hehehe... If i join, I think he will be glued on TV!
Ok, tat was my first entry. Now for the next one. Last nite I went for my class.. My nite classes are on Every Monday and Friday but my Friday class started first. Monday, only last nite start. Last nite subject is Accounting!! Well...
Ok, I have no idea wat the lecturer had been explaining. I asked a few questions and I still dun understand >> because his accent is Indian accent!! I tak faham!! So, I think I need to study on my own... BUT
If only my sch principal (JTSS) allowed Normal Academic to study Principles of Accounts, I dun think I wld be struggling!! He ah, bias.. Express student he let them study Principles of Accounts along with 2 humanities.. Normal Academic, he said Principles of Accounts is an upper secondary subject only meant for Express students!! Huh! Who is he trying to fool? When I was bz preparing for N levels, I bought 10 year series assesment books, I saw N level assesments books for Principles Of Accounts! My other friends from other schools(they do not take accounts but) said normal academic stream in their sch studied Principles of Accounts.. Argh!! So, my batch, we have to study(my class: Geography and Elements of Office Admin >> I wld like to have History and Literature), 3N2(History and Elements of Office Admin >> Try to transfer to tis class but my mum said: Dah bagus tu class nombor satu kau nak class nombor 2 apasal..tak payah lah.. geography n history no difference.. (U r posted to 3N1 and u want to transfer to no 2 class, forget it lah..geography and history no difference at all >> it really is a DIFFERENCE!! I HATE Geography very boring subject.. I prefer History..we can know more abt the past!) and lastly 3N3 (Art and History/Geography and History)
Now I don know how to cope with Accounts!!! I have no basic knowledge of accounts!!! I need to look back at Secondary sch Accounts textbooks and understand from there.. *Or shall I get a secondary sch student to tutor me Accounts?* HAHAHA... Younger student tutor me!! LoL..
Sigh.. Dun know lah.. but like I had said, GIVE UP is NOT the word TO BE used to describe me. I will find a solution to my study problem.. *Why is Accounting a compulsory subject?! Argh!!)

Since the Singapore Idol fever is ON.. I betta publish this.. hehe. How do I know tat Haizad had a sore throat(read on to find out more)? Well, I have my ways.. *winks* By the way, I am at work.. FINALLY i can surf the net at work.. hehe..
Poor Haizad, he had a sore throat while singing.. or so he claimed.. But i believed him cuz when he talked after dat performance of "This I Promise U", his voice did seemed rusty. One word to sum his performance on Sept 16(the Wild card show). It was clear that he was struggling with dat song.. Argh... If only, if only!
After his performance... The judges fired him with lots of crushing critics... I know dat brought him down alot.. I appreciate Ken Lim for calling Haizad, Mr Handsome but its clear that Haizad knoes how to handle compliments, he juz shrugs it off when he was complimented abt his good looks but not his good voice... N yeah, i hope wat Ken said is true, abt the whole acting thingy.. I hope Suria WILL take him up as one of their new actors..
Anyway, he looked very vulnerable while facing the judges on the wildcard show n i respect him very much for succeeding in withstanding the harsh comments of the judges..
During the end of the wildcard show, when Gurmit wanted him to say a few words before the show ends, he said "Think wisely before spending your money" U got wat he means? He was obviously disheartened by the whole thing n didnt want to continue the battle any further.. n he was advising anyone who was voting to think wisely before voting..(including ME) U know voting costs money.. 50 cents per sms..
Dats exactly wat i'd been doing right after all Wildcards had performed.. VOTE FOR HIM.. He needed the help of ppl like me.. His fans....
He didnt looked enthusiastic at all after his performance and any time the camera focuses on him... Usually he'd be smiling or goofing ard.. But not during the wildcard show.. He was playing it quiet. I noticed dat he was like praying to God or sumthink before the credits rolled..
No matter wat, Haizad is STILL my Idol! Taufik? Well, he's my Idol too but i am proud of him for being the only Malay in the Finals.. Well done Singaporeans!! Thanks for voting Taufik! (Actually, me also vote for him, Muneerah..blah blah..)

I met a new friend two weeks ago(Sept 3 start of course for degree). Her name is Nur Liana.. She's 18 this year. Some of u may be surprised on why she's 18 and she is already studying for her degree.. Well, her O level results, she passed got mostly Bs but since her Maths is a failed grade, so she had to take private. But abt y she's 18 and already a degree student.. tat I don know.. I just know her and I dun wish to ask much from her. Oh.. I forgot..she was from Crescent Girls Sch so which means, she took Sec 4 O levels..
She took different major.. She's taking Mass Communication major and me, Marketing and y we happened to be in the same class every Friday nights was bcoz Marketing is one of the compulsory subject for both majors..
Well, at least there's one classmate who is younger than me.. coz my instincts told me tat once I joined part time, I will be the youngest coz most of the part time students are mid 20s to late 30s.. Phew.. I wasnt.. And I have a classmate named Andrew.. he is in SCDF.. I managed 2b confident and asked him which camp he was. Hopefully he could answer Jln Bahar camp or Woodlands or Ang Mo Kio camp.. But he said he's in Paya Lebar HQ.. Ok, neva mind. He was asking me y i asked so I said tat I was trying to find a friend who I lost touch in.. (U have guess it, he is Muhammad Hafidz Bin Basri, my friends said they saw him in a SCDF uniform). Lucky, Andrew didnt ask for the name.. If not, he may get the wrong Hafidz.. who knows there may be other Hafidzs who are in SCDF..
Nur Liana just started working tat was y she signed up for part time class. Last night during our break, I asked if she watched Singapore Idol.. She said, No. And I was like, "Oh no! Another one who thinks Singapore Idol is a Lame show?" But I was WRONG!! I asked her further if she dun like to watch. She again said, No. B4 I could ask more questions, she told me tat she had to work overtime(to cover up for a colleague) -> she's working as a Sales Promoter in a boutique shop. Her working hours are supposedly 2b 10am to 5pm BUT on tat Thursday, Sept16, her colleague was on M.C and she had to cover up her colleagues shift all the way to 10pm!
She asked me who got into the Finals.. I told her, Maia Lee(who was the judges choice), Beverly and Sylvester Sim(the Top 2 SMS votes). Then I want to tok abt something else when she was so-call toking to me this: "Asal seh Haizad tak dpt masuk?!"(Why Haizad didnt manage to get IN). I asked her: "Dia handsome kan?" (Isnt Haizad very handsome?) And she was exagerating herself saying... "Yeah..very handsome, dia ade gf?"(does he has a gf?). I shrugged my shoulders. Again she was exagerating and said: "Ala, jgnlah dia ade gf..I nak ah dgn dia.."(Hopefuly he doesnt cos I want to know him) We both LAUGH!!!
I told her tat even if Haizad has a gf, she could still have Taufik. She shocked her head saying Taufik is cute NOT handsome.. Haizad.. he's Very Handsome and then she grinned at me..
The thing tat make us laugh the loudest(dun worry only me and her were in the class, we didnt go anywhere) was when she told me this: "Si Haizad nurse kan?" I nodded my head. "I ckp dgn my adik eh..' Jom kita pegi cari Haizad kat SEMUA hospital kat Singapore' and my adik kata..'kau dah gila ke pe?' " (Haizad is a nurse ryt? I said to my younger sister to go n find Haizad in ALL the hospitals here in Singapore and she said to me ' Crazy lah u!') Haha.. We did really laughed very loud.. She asked me what song Haizad sang yesterday. I told her "This I Promise U". She got excited and she said "Aww..he sang tat song for me". I also jealous when she said tat..so I told her "No, he said to Gurmit, a lot of pple wants him to sing tat song so he sang tat song.. He also sang for ME tat song.." I said,with my tounge lashing out at her. Then we both laugh.
Now, back to Singapore Idol.. Oops..I forgot to tell Liana tat judge Ken Lim call Haizad: "Mr Handsome"! Neva mind.. Wait, she will exagerrate herself again. I think my hp bills for the month of Sept will be exploding coz I called the hotline number to vote for HAIZAD.. not forgetting SMSes too abt 20 times for each.. Wah.. *Semangat seh aku* but the votes are all Wasted coz he didnt EVEN make it to TOP 5.. Well, nonetheless, I do agree with the results.. Maia, Beverly and Sylvester had improve and they ought to be in the FINALS.
So, there is only ONE malay contestant who make it to the FINALS.. Well done Taufik! U bet..since Haizad will not be in the Finals, I vote for Taufik next.. :)

A Singapore Idol contestant will soon be joining a respected profession - nursing. 25-year-old ( I thought he's 24? Ah..24 or 25, it doesnt make any difference) Mohd Haizad bin Imram graduated from polytechnic with a diploma in nursing and hopes to join the service once he's stint with the Army ends.
Catch him this Thursday LIVE (Sept 16) in Wild Cards Performs.. Which Top 3 will join the other 9 Finalist? (Hopefully is Haizad!! Wld like to c more of him)
Above is a picture taken from Episode 5 Group 2 Piano Show. He sang "What a Wonderful World". Dick Lee commented: 'Wat a wonderful mess'. I Disagree with him coz I personally thinks tat is a wonderful song sang by a Wonderful Guy.. hehe ;)
Muhammad Taufik bin Batisah and Nelson Tan both have something in common, both are currently serving in the Singapore Police Force(SPF).
Nelson is currently attached with the Traffic Police.
Taufik, on the other hand, is finishing out his National Service at a police division in the western part of Singapore. (Thanks to my 12 or 13 times of SMS votes plus my other friends' votes, Taufik IS IN TOP 3, he is a FINALIST!! If u watched the Group 3's episode, did u c the shock on his face? Haha)

Maria, you're too QUIET!! Even when you are at home, you seldom communicate. You only talk when there's a need to. You will only talk if you were been asked some questions or one of ya family members talks to you first. BUT that does not mean u r ARROGANT! They dun know you that much, how could they anyhow say you are one? Anyway, ALL your comments from Aug 28 to Sept 9 are all VISIBLE.. You didn't delete any of it.. Why did the comment by Anura said that you delete the comments?

Maria, among our friends, you have always been the smartest.. You always top ya class. Among all the malays, you, Fadhil n Iqbal were vying for the Top Malay Student position. For N levels, you are not among the TOP 3.. Surprising rite? So those who pass N levels, go to O levels. So when we were in Sec 5..when Fadhil encountered any problem in his studies, he approached you for help.. Did you turn him down? NO!
If you r ARROGANT, u would say this to him: "Asal kau tanya aku? Kau dan aku kan kau lagi pandai..solve yourself lah" But I don't think you convey that to him, I saw you coaching him.. You do sincerely and willingly help not only Fadhil but others in their studies.. NOW IS THAT CALL ARROGANT?!
Before the release of O level results, we were discussing among ourselves who could be the Top Malay student in Sec 5 for O Levels.. We were all pining hopes on u.. But when the results were out, how shocking it was. You didnt do well, in fact, we did better than you. You were'nt envious of our achievements, in fact you felt proud of us.. Till now, you still kept in touch with us, U never forget a friend. That's the thing I like about you.
ARROGANT pple are those pple who do not wish to entertain pple who are lessly educated.. But DO THEY KNOW that most of our friends are all ITE students, did you look down on them? NO! Even Rosliah n Nazrul who are only O level graduate, they didnt continue their studies..did you insult them? Lok down on them? Didnt want to contact them anymore? NO! You are happy to be their friend! So how could THEY possibly say you are ARROGANT?!
So when I read all those sickening english comments, I was angry. How could a great gal like you been regard as sombong/arrogant to the eyes of others? I did some soul-searching and came to a conclusion that maybe you are too quiet so pple have that kind of perception about you.. Or maybe bcause you seldom speak malay so that could be another reason.
Whether or not, you do not like to speak malay or do not like to voice out, WHY must they CARE? This is your LIFE! You feel comfortable this way.. But somehow you have to think. Take for example the singing trophy. So WAT if they do not believe... Just keep it to yourself, you do not need to publish here in your blogspot.. When the time comes for you to show off your talent, then you secretly filled up a form and then who knows you are already in Top 10 for a singing competition..

NEWS 1: Comments
WOW! i cant believe.. I'm so "famous". Haha.. Ever since Sept 1 entry, I have received a lot of comments till sept 9!! Haha.. It's like a BATTLE between two groups of pple.. Let's call my friends - Group A and the others Group B. Group A and Group B were debating among themselves..
But I wonder WHO is the person who gave the 7th comment for Sept 7 entry?? The person didnt mention any names. Dun know guy or gal. BUT the person mention his O level credits.. ENGLISH A1? WHO?! So far ALL my friends' English grades are in a range of B3 to C6. But this person scored A1 for English n was in 3 year Pre-U(A Level)?
Wait a minute! Could it be... ? Nah! It couldn't be him! I dun believe in "Old Flames May Rekindle"But my instinct tells me tat the person who gave the 7th comment for Sept 7 is Hafidz Basri! My so-call crush back in secondary sch(i had a crush on him since sec sch NOT the other way round). But if it is really HIM: 1) How he knows my blogspot add? and 2) His ENGLISH is grade B3 NOT A1!

Where is he?! WAt happened?! For a week already he didnt open up his stall... I mean his family didnt open up the stall.. Boring sia always eat at malay stall... Who am I toking abt? The Indian guy member of Triple Noize lah! Told u b4 tat he helped his mum at her stall.. so everytime lunch time i can chit chat with him.. but for the past week..his stall is so spick and span.. I asked the makcik beside their stall, she said, they couldnt do business coz the price of chicken, mutton and fish at the market.. increased..
Haiyyah! They can sell other food wat..like rojak, mee goreng..and when the prices of chicken, mutton and fish are ok.. they can resume back their nasi briyani business...

There are still some pple think I failed my Os as I cant get into Poly.. Well.. FAIL means... our subjects have the grades of D7,E8 and F9.. I dun have any of those grades... So how could it be fail?!
I cant get into poly(at tat time) coz the cut-off points for I.T courses are 18 for L1R4 my L1R4 is plus 7..how to get in? Cut out points for Engineering courses are 26..i can go in but I AM NOT Interested... not my field of study...
In fact some of the courses allow a D7 in English in their O level to enter to Poly..not E8..not F9... SO HOW COULD ANYONE SAY I FAIL? If I fail, I cant teach tuition coz pple with at least O level(pass) can teach tuition. If pple consider me as a failure in O level, how the hell am I able to teach tuition??
Also, I voluntarily tutor a Sec 3 student... If Fail O level, Cannot teach Sec 3 level... In fact, I have neva fail any Major examinations at all...

How time flies. Today is already the 3rd day of September.. And the beginning of a new sch term,which had already started. I just got back... My class was from 7pm to 10pm...
Reading the comments for my daily entry dated Sept 1.. by 2 anonymous jokers and my best friend... The first two comments, one of the stupid advice is: Get a life, grown up.. Hey, I am a grown up.. BUT the way i'm thinking is NOT.. so the advice shld be: THINK N BEHAVE LIKE A GROWN UP instead of get a life and grown up.. *wanna give comments also dun know how to give properly*
Actually my best friend wanted to comment about wat i wrote for Sept 1 yesterday but she forgot coz she's too bz.. Only today at 4pm, she realized she hadnt done so.. Well, she gives memorable comments n not vaqueless comments like wat a joker did.. When she view my bloggie... she was shocked to see 2 childish comments being posted! Damn! She was 3 hours late! And those 2 stupid comments waste her time coz apart from commenting mine, she had to comment those two comments too...
She didnt wanna alert me abt those two comments... she alerted me after she wrote the comments and me too was shocked to read it.. BUT in my mind, I AM HAPPY why? Well at least there are some other pple who stil behave like a kid! The way the comments were being posted/written is like a child's thinking.. But tat again, this leads to STRESS! Yah.. stress! MEREKA TAK KESIAN KE? Opps, i forgot.. how to KESIAN if they have childish thoughts.. They wont EVEN CARE WAT KIND OF STRESS GROWN UPS HAVING.. TATS Y THEY WROTE SUCH THINGS....
But I still lay out my thoughts abt the kind of stress I had here anyway. I shld have post this on Saturday, 28 August... coz this happened on tat day BUT too bz crying.. yAh, I cried.. wat happened?
I juz got back form school coz the sch wished to inform me how much I have to pay monthly for my degree. I was told $800 without GST. When I went back home, I told my mum n grandma coz they asked me the moment i stepped in the house! *Couldnt they let me rest?* So, after I told them, they made so much noise..
Both of them said to me to negotiate the payment; make it lesser. I told them tat the sch has already made the payment less for me. My mum n grandma still werent happy. They made noise until I BINGIT!!
Then my mum got fed up and asked me to call the sch to say tat I wanna quit..(she wants me to quit NOT me...I'll neva quit till i get wat i want). I did not oblige. I sat down staring at my laptop waiting for any friends online. My mum asked me to do it quick. I shocked my head & then tears flowing down my cheeks. I said to her: "I want to study"
And my mum called for my grandma saying tat I was crying. My grandma also fed up. She said,"If she cries, wat can we do? Since she insisted to study, let her be lah, let her pay. She herself shld know tat she's working as a temporary part time clerk n per month, she brought home her salary of $700plus to $800..if she used tat to pay for her degree course, then wat she want to eat? Where 2get more money to pay for her hp bills, internet bills, other expenses?"
When I heard tat nagging from my grandma, I told her tat I will find a full time permanent job which earns more than $1k to support my studies. *But I know its not possible coz nowadays very hard to look/find jobs*
So tats y I'm now STRESS!! And those pple..can add more stress to me!! In fact, (sorry for being harsh) they ought to be ashamed of themselves for saying those things to me(those who understand malay..wil knw coz the comments are in malay with a mixture of english) Why did I say tat? No matter how "SELENGER" I am or how bad/good I sang, I am a degree student... in fact majority of the Selengers and Kentals pple are degree students... *Dun judge a person by the looks, the way they dressed watsoever coz u will neva know tat person holds a betta qualification than u*

*Sigh! I don know if I shld publish this but I think I shld coz THIS IS MY BLOGSITE.. MY OWN WISH.. Nazrul had read my blog last nite well, I think not only last nite, he will read it as and when he's free and there's his name and he didnt even mind.. So, that means it is my own wish to do wateva i like with my blogsite.... *
So, here goes.. I do not know if I had publish that I am in charge of singing.. So far there are already 6 girls participating for the singing.. And the song that the girls gonna sing is "Lucky" by Britney Spears.. Since the song has something to do with winning a trophy.. I brought mine for practicing.. I won the singing trophy back in year 1997...(Sec 2)
One of them did not believe that the trophy is mine.. Well, apparently so coz the trophy doesnt have my name BUT that person cant assume that I borrowed the trophy from someone else or worse, picked it up from elsewhere.. Well, maybe tat person meant it as a joke but mcm menyindir ah.. Tak suka...
Another one asked if the judges were just like me.. (u know, SELENGER just like me). Hey, tats very insulting coz the judges were the Teachers! Two of them are my favourite teachers: Mdm Roslinda and Mrs Chiang.. How could the teachers been called selenger!!?
When I told that the judges were the teachers themselves, another question was, "Did they wear an ear plug?" Well, I cant remember if the teachers did use the ear plug or not coz it has been 7 years so I assume they did and nodded my head.. And I got this as a reply: No wonder ah.. they cant hear properly.... Thats insulting too... Coz 1) it means to say that the teachers were deaf.. and 2) I dun have a nice voice(my voice sucks when I sang) *well, I dun know how to judge my voice.. I just sing and let the teachers did their fair judging..*
Well, I dun care much coz maybe this is a matter of jealousy... And in fact... I didnt sing BRITNEY SPEARS' song.. I sang KEMBALILAH by AMY MASTURA.. And thats how my name, Amy Maria came abt.. Nope, I DIDNT COPY the name from the singer.. I was given tat name..by my friends and seniors.. Whenever the seniors saw me, they wld called out : "Hi, Amy Maria, nyanyi kan abg2 (dan kakak2- if the seniors happened to be girls) ni semua lagu kakakmu.."
And my instincts tells me tat some pple thinks tat I am "stealing" Amy Mastura's name, so I shortened the name Amy Maria to Amyria..
Well, I will heed Ainn's words: JUST DUN CARE WAT OTHERS SAY ABT U, THEY JEALOUS OF U TATS WHY THEY SAY ALL SORT OF THINGS.. JUST LOOK HIGH UPON YOURSELF AND DONT CARE TOO MUCH.. THEY WILL EVENTUALLY STOPPED..
And not forgetting Mokhtar's words : Be true to yourself.. (Yah, I am being true to myself and telling the truth tat the trophy is MINE)
