Further to my entry of 20 April 2009, here’s the continuation… Its in a mixture of English and malay coz the title for this entry is MINAH. MINAH is a malay word and I can’t stand MINAHs or anyone who acted like a MINAH. wHy?

For small trivial matters, will make a big fuss abt it and furthermore, make sure the fuss is heard by almost everyone! DUHZ! I dun like being in a scene!

Incident 1:

Tin Susu

Everyone who has been constantly reading this blog will know that I am clueless when it comes to housework HOWEVER at least I know how to open a can using the can-opener la..

Let me ask u… If the can is upside down, and wanna open the can with the can-opener, is it possible? OF COURSE IT IS! It is MILK in the can! So whether it is upside down or not, when u have open it, it is still milk! I'm sure u all know that even if the tin susu is upside down, it is still susu inside! Not cheese or whatever!!

STUPID RIGHT! THINK SHE IS SMART TO MARAH-MARAH ORG.. SHE IS OLDER THAN ME AND YET SO CHILDISH! AKU FIKIR AKU YG BELUM MATURE, ADA JUGAK MANUSIA YG UMUR LEBIH TUA DARIKU YG BELUM MATURE?!! Well, thats not what I call immature, I guess... THAT’S what I call MINAH.. WHY SHE IS A MINAH? MINAHS KNOW THEY ARE STILL CHILDISH SO THEY COVER THEMSELVES AND TRY TO ACT AS IF THEY’RE SMARTS BUT THEY DIDN'T REALIZE THAT THEY'RE NOT..

So when this minah finds out abt it, she wants to know more abt what had happen. This minah here thinks that her English is superb! Bleargh! Try la talk to A’s sister! I’m sure this minah cannot take it! A’s sister speaks English as if she’s a Caucasian but she is not. This minah here speaks English because she wants to be like a mat salleh tapi tak jadi.. Hahaha.. Anyway, here goes…

“MBS, what did u do to the can opener?" Being very honest.. I relate what happen..

U know what she said, "WHO TOLD U TO BE SO SMART, OPEN UPSIDE DOWN? TAU BUKAK OR TAK TAU BUKAK?"

I know I am not good in housekeeping but I am being appreciative enuff to try to open the can opener myself.. In fact, da banyak tin susu I bukak cuma on that particular day its UPSIDE DOWN…

So this is my reply, "DUN ASSUME I AM CLUELESS IN HOUSEWORK.. I KNOW HOW TO OPEN JUST THAT FOR TODAY ITS UPSIDE DOWN"

Dia tak puas hati.. she continues, "do u know what u are doing upsets Mummy Letchmi (she’s in charge of housekeeping ; pantry cleanliness and office cleanliness)?"

"OK, I will apologize later but now I wanna know WHAT HAS THAT GOT TO DO WITH U? WILL IT AFFECT YOUR WORK? WILL IT ALSO AFFECT MY WORK?"

Pasal tin susu pun nak bising bising.. At first, after this incident, I never thought that this is how a typical minah would behave. But after observing more, I’ll finally realize..

Incident 2:

HANDPHONE NOKIA CHARGER

For quite a number of occasions, I have been charging my handphone at one of my hearing-impaired colleagues' workstation. U see, I don't have extra plug at my workstation, there is extra at his. Initially I brought my own charger and went to his workstation, which is just on my left opposite side of me. When I went to his workstation and SL (sign language to him ) to him that I want to charge my hp. He said sure and there is already a charger at his workstation. He charged the handphone for me.

I did ask him, whose charger that belongs to. He did not know. Fine. So, for a few times, I have been going to his workstation and charged my handphone there UNTIL...

Until one fateful day, the same minah happen to notice that he handed me over my handphone after charging and guess what?

BUKAN MAIN MENGAMUK DIER!!!

MINAH: Pandai-pandai ehk pakai org nyer charger.. kena bayar tau!"
Me: JKC's has the plug and there's a charger.

The next comment from the MINAH makes me wanna shout at her but like I'd mentioned I dun like to be in a scene. I, a degree graduate do not SHOW OFF my English. My English are all very simple.

MINAH: Hey, u dun understand simple English? It's my charger.
Me: Of course I understand English. Everyone here knows English. What I mean is, when I asked him whose charger was it, he didnt mention who. All he mention is, there is a charger at his place so its not my fault.

Well, this minah expects me to diam after her comment on the 'simple english', she didnt expect me to talk back so her next comment..

MINAH: Woah.. da pandai menjawab. Da pakai orgnyer property, tak nak say sorry ..."
Me: I told u its not my fault, so why must I say sorry.. Go and ask him why he didnt tell me u are the owner of the charger, and next time please write ur name on the charger la.

Silence.

I know pretty well the reason why she tried to find fault with me. Well, I observed that many other colleagues went to his' workstation and used the charger and she was there and she diam ajer, but when she saw me using her charger, she makes noise..

Simple explanation in malay: Bangsa lain and pangkat besar dia suka bodek tapi org dia (org melayu Islam) sendiri dia buat bodoh. Understand what I mean?

Never mind if u dun. Ok, now the reason why she try to find fault with me is because I am close with someone she really dislikes.. She is jealous of this person. Well, this person is older than her and yet can be so stylish and though she's married, still can maintain the figure whereas the minah over here, badan is an enormous size and all of us were shocked that she's married? Haha. So I guess perhaps could be she is jealous of this person so she dislikes whoever is close with the person.. And I am close with this person and it happens that I am same dept with her, so AKU LA YG KENA!!

I did complain to the person abt this minah. U see, this minah used to be in same dept as the person and due to her bad work performance, she was transferred to my dept so now I suffer. I always said this to the person, "Kak, asal they all tak nak buang kan ajer dia tu.. why transfer her? Nak transfer pun, other dept la.. Why my dept.. Sakit hati tau dgn dier.. Ader ajer dia nyer comment!"

Now that's what I call a Minah. Can't find fault with the person they dislike, they will find other targets. I know. I have noticed ever since she has been transferred.. She is not happy with me coz I hanged around with this someone. If I were to say that this someone is someone who is very stylish and all artistes know her, I'm sure u all know the reason why a few Minahs dislike her. As u know, Minahs.. whatever they wear are not stylish or fashionable but they tried to be one.

So when this someone befriended me instead of them, of coz la they not happy and always target at me.. Don't u find it so childish? If they dun like the person, FINE.. but why must they also dislike whoever who are friends with the person they dun like? Say if they dun like S and I am friends with S, they won't like me as well.. For what sia? Why they bother? I have my own choice of who and whom I want to make friends with. I make friends with those who never make such a big fuss over small matters, who are more mature than me so that I can learn, who likes to advise me on just anything and treat everyone fairly.

Sighz.. If this minah continues to find fault with me or whatever, I think I'm going to ask for transfer. So, if she continues or talked across to another colleague some childish topic until I was disrupted, (I did tell her in a gentle manner to lower down volume but she is the type who tak amik perduli org melayu walaupun org melayu tu pangkat tinggi UNLESS I am CINA and high post. I will ask for transfer.. I have my degree.. I must make use of it.. Hence I may want to ask to transfer me to Marketing dept, which I know not easy coz NO MALAYS in that dept.. I'll try my luck..

P/S: Betul lah kata my nenek, kalau ader melayu kat tempat kerja, jaga diri.. kekadang tu percakapan diorang kasar.. kekadang tu kalau dia nampak kau berpakaian baru, dia cemburu etc etc.. Which is true! Thats why they dislike the person. *eyes rolling*
