I know that sooner or later my family will know that I am secretly seeing him.. He does not have MSN (he is not so computer literate) so thats why he always meets me everyday.. His working hrs are 6.30am to 3.30pm, sometimes if there isnt any flight, he ends work at 11.30am. If he ends work at 11.30am, then he will meet me up for lunch..

Why cant these pple just leave me alone?! Why cant they mind their own business?! Why cant they just respect my privacy?! They already labelled me names such as cheap uni grad, shameless etc etc coz I meet him everyday! Do they think I wanna meet him? Its HIM who wants to meet me.. furthermore his sister (my best friend - I asked her for more info abt her bro, she didnt suspect anything yet) and she told me that once he likes this gal, he will stick with her no matter what.. Which clearly means, if I have any lunch appointment with a colleague, he will follow.. Thats why la those names they labelled me all occurs! I know some of them thinks that I am stupid. They dun believe in "stick with me no matter what" coz they will go on and asked, "u go ladies also he follow la? c'mon la.. dun be stupid..didnt u realize u've been controlled by him?"

WHAT THE . . . . . ? What control? If he controls me even before we are together, that would mean he shows no respect to me and definitely OUT HE GO from my life. I am confident he wont control me coz I'm his sister's best friend.. His sister will "KILL HIM" if she were to find out he has been trying to control her best friend's life! So, I really hope those assumptions of I'm scared of him or being controlled by him STOP!!

They even spread rumours that A is rich. For GOD sake! If he is rich, my family has already approves of him.. they dun mind the age being younger than me, they dun mind the education being way lower than me.. Because if he's rich, my family's perception : I will be secured / I will be stable.. no finance problems etc etc.. But being rich, wont gurantee happiness..

A is not rich but why these pple thinks he is? Just because he has LOTS OF TIME to meet me?! They dun work in airport, so dun anyhow assume! Furthermore, he is not under SATS, he is under a contract with a company so since its contract, that explains why he has such a funny working hours and why he can ends work at 1130am sometimes 1030am. Dont ask me, dont ask him, if u wanna know so much..pls go and ask the boss of that company who gave him the contract employment!

So, they disrespect my privacy and inform a relative of mine. That relative of mine is my step cousin-in-law who is working on 37th floor. My company is located on both 30th and 37th floor. Majority of the 37th floor are malays.. So u know la.. I dont have to elaborate further... (I have ranted this on 29th October 2008)

Further to the 29th October 2008 entry, I got a scolding from them for giving a white lie to them coz every time I come back home, my nenek will ask.. "he still got sms u?" and I will reply, "no." And my nenek revert, "jgn layan dia sangat.. perempuan muda ke sebaya dgn dia, dia tak nak kejar, dia kejar kan perempuan tua.. tak malu ker dia?" So since the secret's out.. I got no choice and tell them the truth that he meets me for lunch everyday (However, I still didnt let them know that he fetches me everyday coz more trouble for me so I just say sometimes he will fetch me)

So, whats next?

My nenek and my mum wants me to resign from this job! I told them I wanna wait for bonus, they agreed and they insisted that I leave the job after getting my bonus at the end of the year.. At first I thought that (refer to 29th Oct entry - the bottom paragraph) as the reason.. Now I know whats the reason..

BECAUSE OF HIM!

They want to prevent him from meeting me / fetching me.. They even warned me not to inform him of my whereabouts in future.. (which clearly explains: severe ties with him) I just kept quiet.. I find it unfair! Is he that bad?! Why are they criticising him? He may be lower educated than me but he never once ask me for money or sex... He may be younger than me but he is mature.. FYI... he sometimes scolded me for being immature.. So why they halang me?

Now is reaching the mid of November, I'll have 1 and half mth.. Yeah.. In 1 and half mth time, will be December and that mth is bonus mth.. After which, they expect me to go look for job and resign from ECSF.. I dun like to job hop! They themselves advised me not to job hop! But..! In Donaldson, I stayed for 1 year and 9 mths, I make a promise to myself that for this current job, I wanna stay for at least 2 years! And now because of him, they wanna me to resign.. Why?! Dun they want me to get married? I know they would love to marry me off but they expect same status, in this case, same education or higher education..

I watched this forum which was aired on Suria LIVE on Tuesday, 21 October 2008. The forum discussed abt topics such as relationships and marriages. I was shocked that the topic of guy being lower educated and younger than the lady was been discussed and somehow I felt that it is almost related to what both A and I are going through. The guy - NTC holder and the lady - Degree holder. The lady's family has no confidence that the relationship / marriage (no idea whether the guy in the picture already married to the lady or still in relationship) will last coz of his lower qualifications..

The counsellor was invited to give a discussion in the Cukup Tak Cukup Forum. He mentioned that there are many divorces involving men who are higher educated than the wives. There are fewer divorces involving men who are lower educated than the wives..

Surprisingly, my mum watched the forum and she agreed with what the counsellor said. She explains (in malay), "Mmg nyer.. lelaki kalau berpelajaran tinggi & pangkat tinggi abih isteri dia pun sama, mcm nak bersaing siapa better la.. then bila bersaing.. ada yg tak kena.. dah cerai.. Lelaki yg tak pandai sangat belajar dpt isteri yg tinggi pelajaran dgn dia, rumah tangga bertahan sikit.. ialah respect isteri la katakan.."

My mum explained that to me and my grandmother and yet she cant realize that she still disapproves of my friendship with A just because of his lower qualifications. Once again, pls be reminded that she does not mind A being younger than me.. She only mind that he is lower educated than me..

My otak buntu.. shld I listen to them or to my heart or seek guidance from ALLAH? Since this is my blog, I'll be frank. I am comfortable with him and I can see that he never even once said this, "U shldnt be wasting ur money on degree, shld go learn how to cook.." HE NEVER SAY THAT... but I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER who said that to me in 2004 - after the incident of kopek sengkuang with my fingernails.. Yes, that guy said something like, "distant learning degree so what? why not cooking class, kopek sengkuang pakai kuku, bodoh!" I related that to A's sister, my best friend. I believe A was there.

So, I do feel comfortable whenever A's with me. He knws I cant cook yet he said, its OK...I can learn slowly.. See! Thats what I call gentleman! However my mum and my grandmother cant see that - they dun even wantto meet him..

P/S: I believe my mum is trying to accept him. She saw a job advertisement on the Marina Bay Sands having vacancies such as Technicians, Waiters, Bellmen, Doormen and gave me the number for me to pass to him and she wants him to call the number. When I asked why, my mum replied, "Changi Airport jauh sangat.. Marina Bay dkt sikit.. Kesian dia kerja tempat jauh abih kena bangun pagi lak tu.."
