1) Me? Commercial look?!
I was approached by a director of a modelling agency. He came up to me and ask some normal usual questions. He enquired if I am interested to have 'my face shown on mags / ads / tv'. I replied, "I dun mind for exposure but I dun think I am cut out for it."
He asked why. I told him honestly that I am not that attractive enuff (must be humble lah.. dun be so boastful - I know majority of the pple have mentioned that I am pretty and have a beautiful smile: thats what pple say.. NOT I SAY.. :P) etc.
He gave a chuckle and yes, he knows malay and he reverted, "U lawa what.. got a cantik smile also.. with some touch up.. dah cun what..U can start of being a tv commercial model for a start and those tv commercial models earn at least 4 fig amount and it can sum up to a 5 fig amount. This is my name card. If u have consider and u willing to give it a try, call me."
*JAWS WIDE OPEN*
Not only him! An acquitance of mine agreed too! He has an uncle who also owns a modelling agency and he got his uncle to come and meet me. His uncle also agrees that I have that look and he too offer me a chance to try out. Again, I received another name card. Hmm...
I dun mind trying BUT they need to take MY PHOTOS to send to those advertisers (maybe to MediaCorp) before I can show my face on tv. And to take those photos, I believe I will have to pay them la.. Thats how modelling agency makes $$ what.. I know coz I went for a makeover almost 5 yrs ago!
Hmm, do u think I am cut out for it.. Shall I try, just for exposure?
2. HOW?!!! - In regards to 19th April!!!
Why are malay wedding these days are being held on Saturday? And not the usual Sunday?
On 19th April - Eco Concert at Ngee Ann City with performances by Campus Superstar 2 winner, Aliff Aziz, HADY MIRZA and etc etc..
DEFINITELY I AM GOING COZ dah lama tak tgk HADY.. RINDU... I RINDU SERINDU-RINDUNYA KAT U LA HADY.. :D 19th April is on Saturday and the concert is from 6 pm to 9 pm. HOWEVER ...... !!!
MY COUSIN - MY FAVOURITE SECOND COUSIN (well, our grandmothers are adoptive sisters... which means, his grandmother's parents died during the japanese war and my grandmother's family took her (the only survivor) to the family - thats what I heard la...) will be having his wedding on 19th April from 4 pm to 9 pm!!!!

I HAVE TO ATTEND HIS WEDDING.. HIS MY FAVOURITE COUSIN and every year during Hari Raya.. he and his second bro (me not close with the second bro N third bro) always kena usik by our mothers.. Haha.. They can really recall that when I was only 1 or 2 yrs old, that cousin of mine was only 9 or 10 yrs old along with his bro who was 4 or 5 yrs old came rushing at my pram shouting, "adik kita dtg.." then they were fighting.."aku nak dukung dia.." "TAK BOLEH..AKU YG BESAR, AKU DUKUNG DIA DULU.." and both brothers fight.. Hahaha.. At that time, Aunt Leha (their mother) was the only one who was married and got kids. Uncle Rahman just married and the rest: Aunt Masturah, Uncle Kamal and Aunt Mas Ayu hadnt married yet. So, aku lah jadi "adik" mereka. Also, there was on one occasion when Uncle Rahman got married, Aunt Leha she shouted to her boys when she saw me, "Ni dia Maria dtg.. Nanti dah besar kahwin dgn siapa?" Then her two boys again will fight: "Kahwin dgn aku.." "TAK AH! KAHWIN DGN AKU... AKU YG BESAR.." etc etc.. Those were the memories...
ARGH! HOW?!! Terpaksalah I have to give it a miss! Nanti apa pulak kata my relatives: "Tak abis-abis dgn dianyer Hady Mirza...blah blah..." *I felt like crying already* I called my cousin and demand an explanation on why THAT PARTICULAR DATE! Why cant today?! Or on 26th April? Why must it be on 19th April? Grrrrr!!!!

HADY.. I GONNA MISS U... ALL THE BEST FOR APM, K? =D Speaking of APM, APM 2008 will be held at K.L Malaysia and definitely majority of the HapyHadys (esp the Fan Paling Heboh winner - SV! U dah popular ah.. My mum dah kenal banget dgn ur face! Ur face was in the Berita Harian a few days ago.. hahaha) are going! There's a busloads of HapyHadys going there next week, according to Warna 94.2FM (or was it Ria 89.7FM - Not so sure, I was inside my step dad's car so aint that sure which malay radio station he listens to..) I confirmed with a few HapyHadys and WoW! I got this as a reply, "Yes! The travel agency reserve the whole bus for HapyHadys!"
Woah.. SEMANGAT HAPYHADYS! BE SURE TO ENJOY URSELF AND NOT ONLY SHOUT OR SCREAM FOR HADY... FOR OTHERS AS WELL, SUPPORT LOCAL TALENTS!!!!
