TODAY WAS THE DAY I bid my permanent goodbye to Donaldson. I repeat: PERMANENT GOODBYE! Yes, I am not coming back! Though I heard rumours, "MBS sure will come back to Donaldson if she cant perform there.. PT comes back.. so did CGN.. Next one surely MBS." I AM GOING TO PROOF TO THEM THAT I AM NOT GOING TO COME BACK!
I received a very expensive farewell gift from 15 Donaldson colleagues. Before I continued.. I would like to voice out some 'unfairness'. I still remember vividly when NJ, Kak Liz, Kak LS, the lawyer: Mr ELK, PT (he comes back), CGN (also come back) almost everyone in the I.P department contribute a certain amount of $$. Usually about $5 each. There are about 36 or 37 pple in I.P department and usually about 34 or 35 pple contributed. Not bad ah the gifts about $100plus excess balance buy a card - a big one!
When it comes to me.. Hey, I dun mind. I am not expecting them to buy for me. Its up to them. BUT PLEASE IF THEY DIDNT CONTRIBUTE..JUST SHUT UP...
Like I'd mention in the earlier paragraph, I WONT BE COMING BACK.. I DUN WISH TOO.. please DO NOT ASSUME I WILL COME BACK. I've a habit that once I left some place I will not want to come back. I heard this: "WHY THOSE PPLE (those 15 pple whom I will list down their names/initial later) contribute to give MBS such an expensive gift?! We all also contribute to others but worht it.. Not wasted.. Liz, NJ, LS, ELK neva come back. PT and CGN come back and they're not afraid MBS will come back too.. Definitely their $$ gone wasted! I am not going to contribute. Waste of my $$ she sure come back.. What for?! Mark my words.. Definitely she comes back. So what if her position there is a secretary?! Cannot perform... out u go... Definitely come back here ah.. other place dun want her!"
WHY? She not happy issit?! 30 over pple contributed to give gifts to those who have left and that gift was about the same price as mine? She expects those 15 pple buy me a not so nice gift issit?! (means 15 pple contribute $5 to $6, for a gift of $75 to $80) I neva ask them to buy for me anything.. Its the thoughts that counts. Its their business.. They want, they contribute, they dun want..JUST SHUT UP..
I heard more! The above is from a non-malay complaining to another non-malay. Means, one is Indian and the other is Chinese. If both are Chinese, they will speak Hokkien or Cantonese - no longer in Mandarin - because they know I understand Mandarin. So, what if I understand mandarin?! Is it a crime to understand another language?!
The below is from a malay lah who didnt contribute.. complaining to another malay and.. aiyah JUST READ AH!
Person A said, "MBS so stupid. Over here at Donaldson, her job is very simple already - report to clients on the trade mark journals! If I ah get simplest job like that, dun want to resign but she stupid resign. If she resign go and do some other easier job than just reporting of the gazettes, i wont bother but she resign from Donaldson to do a more harder job in Ella Cheong! Stupid ah! Dah dpt kerja senang nak kerja susah!"
Person B added, "Not sure if she wants to come back. Donaldson now has decided to have the "come back policy". If you're resign, can come back. MBS pasti come back punya.. Tgk si PT.. go to Rodyk then cannot adapt there, he comes back.. CGN went to A & G also cannot adapt dtg balik ke Donaldson. MBS confirm dtg balik nyer ah.."
GOD really pities me.. Whenever I was in the cubicle, those pple who said those hurtful things were also in the toilet.. Thats how I got to know. DO U KNOW I WANNA CRY OK! FROM THE FIRST DAY I STARTED TILL I WANT TO RESIGN.. SURE HAVE VERY HURTFUL THINGS TO SAY ABOUT ME.. WHAT DID I DO TO THEM? HAVE I OFFENDED THEM IN SOME WAY? Yes, I admit.. The way I talked may sound like I'm kinda boastful or proud. But I am not, I have that slight confidence more than others, probably.. Whats up with them?!
TAKE NOTE OF THIS EVEN IF DONALDSON OFFER ME TO COME BACK, I DO NOT WANT TO COME BACK. Should I not be able to adapt with the working conditions at ECSF, I can always look for others.. I DO NOT WISH TO COME BACK. I AM HEADING FOR THE FUTURE NOT RETURNING TO THE PAST.
The 15 pple who contributed to the (I think each one forked out $10 because that is indeed an expensive gift!) are: Kak Lin, PT, TSL, Kak SM, Kak RA, Kak ZA, MAM, KR, KL, EA, SU, Naushad, Uncle Bakri, Uncle Eunos and Shyla. Because the rest DUN WANT TO CONTRIBUTE and YET MAKE SO MUCH NOISE, these 15 pple has to fork out more than the normal usual budget of $5 but $10, I believe so.. Because that gift is indeed expensive. That was why those who didnt contribute got to know about this, they voiced out their unhappiness, they expect the 15 pple forked out $5 each?! Hahaha! they're wrong!

Agree? That gift is definitely ranging from $100 to $150. Or is it more? The model is Titus ok from City Chain! How can it the price ranging from $100 to $150? Hmm, dun tell me each of them fork out about $12 to $15 and the cost of the watch is around $180 to $200?! Care to enlighten me?
Sighz.. There's a mixed rush of emotions in me. Happy, sad, relieved. Though the uncertainty is high, but I am certainly relieved that I won't be working in Donaldson anymore.
Well, I'm gonna miss everyone here. Not that I want to but I have to. Live has to move on... Bigger environment, bigger tasks, bigger responsibilities.... As a matter of fact I'm not mentally ready (for now, i guess). Hopefully, things will change for the better.
Well, finally, I am outta here. That was what SP said to me too when I shook her hands before 5.45pm, giving a pandan cake and all, "Finally, you're outta here.." However, (wont be able to bump into him anymore because my new job wont be located at Raffles Place.. It is now located at Beach Road.. Hmm.. )

Whee!!! Alrite Ross, do keep me posted of any developments k.. I will try my best to be there.. Oh... Will Hady be there too?!! I SO WANT TO SEE HIM.. LONG TIME DIDNT SEE HIM.. I MISS HIM LAH!! Argh!!! Speaking of Hady.. He's representing Singapore at the very first ASIAN IDOL.. PLEASE vote for him.. U pple receive year end bonuses.. so definitely got some $$ to vote.. Unlike me.. :(
