How many page(s) are your CVs? Huh? Well, I tend to be pretty long winded so my CV was 5 pages! Yup. Because I have a long history of job experiences.. But now, I tried to summarize my CV and deleted off some of the job experiences.. Those in blue colour fonts are the jobs which I have removed from my CV.. Format of listing job experiences in CV will be in chronological order (from recent to former) but in my blog.. I'll list it the other way. From the very first job to the most recent and CURRENT job. . . minus the job description (what are your duties to support your job...) Working hours: Flexible (as long as I have to clock at least 6 hours in a day; so if I were to come in the afternoon after lunch, at 2pm, I have to end work at 8pm to meet the minimum requirement. If I were to come at 11 am, then 11am to 1pm for the first 2 hrs, then 2pm to 6pm for the next 4 hours and total: 6 hours! How flexible is that!) 9 January 2006 to 16 March 2006 Reason for leaving: To look for a permanent/full time job. (Very simple and honest reason: I have been getting temporary, part time and contract jobs right after I'd graduate from my Diploma and so my reason in CV.) So, my next job and my VERY FIRST PERMANENT job. Reason to leave: Wish to carve out a career elsewhere as there is no career path in the current company. Hahaha.. Yes, that was what I wrote in my CV.. I am very truthful person, I will say the truth. In fact, to think of it, after I've graduated and got my Bachelors Degree, I dun mind working in Donaldson PROVIDED my salary is of market salary for a degree level and my designation suits my qualification. Who would want to have a job designation as a clerk when your qualification is degree level?! Pple will mock at you! Kalau secretary or executive, takper juga.... What irks me... in some companies, pple with O level are already holding job positions of secretaries and executives! *eyes rolling* I did apply for those positions too but standard la.. this is Singapore: BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND MANDARIN. There was one occasion, when I speak a bit of 'koyak' Mandarin at this HR personnel since she was unconvinced I can speak little Mandarin. Then after she was convinced, she insisted on getting a Chinese for that job (means she wants a chinese lah), she asked me if I know how to read and write Mandarin and use Chinese software! *slaps forehead* Anyway, which company will be next in my list? Let's see.. Hmm .. HEALTH PROMOTION BOARD? Or RODYK & DAVIDSON LLP? *winkz*
