26 March was on Monday. Same usual routine.. Went to work on a Monday blue. Guess what? It was a livelier Monday than before. That's because of each and every one of da staffs (those who went for D & D on Sat, 24 March) kept discussing abt D & D. Some even laugh coz it was so damn funny. They could not forget.. Every 1 hr they kept talking abt it..
Well, I missed out on one "humiliating" moment at da D & D.. Here it goes..
Remember, da part I rant abt a commercial game? Da showhost gave us a slogan and we have to go to da stage to ans it? Well, there was a different way of answering for one particular commercial.
Da showhost said out, "I want a gentleman with spectacles to come out to ans this one." I didnt hear da word gentleman.. All I heard was spectacles. So I ran to da stage and MK (who sat in front of da stage - well, his table was near to da center of da stage) shouted, "No, sit down!! Go back! Sit down!" I was kinda appalled by his reaction. I was like, "We're in da same team, y did he ask me to go back and sit down?"
Nevertheless, I was still on da stage and da showhost said, "Is this a man?" All of them went, "Woman.." Da showhost exclaimed, "I dun know.. She ran from there to here, I thought was a man." All gave a huge laughter. I also laughed. Then da showhost said to me, "I want man la.." Feeling so embarassed, I stepped down from da stage.
Seconds later, PN's youngest son went up to da stage. Everyone clapped. Da showhost announced, "U are da man I am looking for. K now da slogan, 'I'm loving it'. Everyone knows it is McDonalds. Why u come up here is to spell out for me, McDonalds BUT not with ur mouth but with ur body movements."
When I heard that, Uncle Sabri's wife said to me, "No wonder they want man.. Lucky u didnt go up to da stage." Phew..
So PN's son had his butt facing us to spell out McDonald. Yes, he had to move his butt to 'draw out' da letters of McDonald.. No wonder man are wanted! Hahaha..
So that was da topic of discussion on Monday!! Oh boy was I embarassed? Well, nah.. I enjoyed it. Da more they talk abt it, da more I laughed!!
27 March was a Tuesday. Aft work, me, B and J went to Cineleisure Orchard to watch TMNT movie. TMNT stands for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.. I love da turtles..ever since I was young. Yup, I watched cartoons like X-Men, TMNT, Transformer, Fantastic Four, Garfield and Looney Tunes. So if any of da cartoons become movies, definitely I watch. Heehe.
Da movie was great!! I give it 4 out of 5 stars!! I thought Raphael was da leader!! To think its actually Leonardo! My fav turtle is Raphael!! Although I do agree that Mikey (Michaelanjelo) is da funniest of all!
28 March - Wedenesday
A dinner with my best friend, Faridah. Well, I thought I had to wait for her but it ended up that she has to wait for me coz I was being "caught" by this Financial Adviser from Prudential. Let's see, I have been approached by Prudential Insurers for abt 4 times already.. Pls.. I beg u.. I am not interested to insure with Prudential.. Dun ask me why.
So instead of meeting at 7.15pm, da meeting time was delayed till 8.00pm all thanks to da 'survey' and 'talks'. We had our dinner at Banquet VivoCity. Then we walked around VivoCity and had a chit chat. Before we left, we need to release ourselves so we went to da washroom at level 2. I went in to this cubicle and guess what I found?
A SONY ERICSSON K 700I handphone!! WoW.. With keychains hanging all around it. I was actually tempted to take it. So I told Faridah, "Sumone left a handphone here. Shall I take it?" Faridah said, "Just take it, since da person is so careless." I replied, "But its a Sony Ericsson phone. I couldnt get used to da functions not as user friendly as Nokia, Motorola or Samsung." But oh well, I just take da phone and put inside my bag. Faridah hinted at me telling me that its my own choice.
Just a minute after I took da phone in my bag, 2 gals abt my siblings age, came running to da ladies. Da taller one yelled, "Which cubicle?" And da shorter one answered, "This one, oh shit!" (pointing to da cubicle I was from and another lady went in). I gestured to Faridah saying in malay that da phone might be hers coz when I was browsing thru da photos in da phone, their faces look kinda similar. Faridah too agreed saying that da phone could be da shorter gal's. I approached them and handed over da phone saying, "Is this ur phone?" Da shorter gal went, "OH YES! THANKS.." Da friend, with a smile conveyed, "Thank You! Thank You so much!" I just smiled.
Am I honest? Or stupid? Wll, da reason I asked this was, when I went back home, I related what happen to both my siblings and both of them hurled, "WHY ARE U SO STUPID! U ALREADY FOUND DA PHONE! JUST TAKE IT AND PRETEND THAT U DUN KNOW ANYTHING!" I argued with them this, "Hello, if it is a Nokia or Motorola or Samsung, I'll do that, of course I will but its a Sony Ericsson phone! I still cant get used to da bloody features on da phone! Not user friendly at all compared to those 3 brands I just mentioned!"
But still my siblings dun wish to lose in da 'debate' so they said, "Aiyah., can sell what.. U make money.. So stupid.."
Stupid?! I am honest, gundhus!!
