B, my colleague working in da Accounts Dept on da 15th floor;, we are more than just colleagues.. We are friends who shares not many of our personal life with each other. We have become very close but there is a line drawn between us. Remember my entry dated 31st August 2006? B4 B expressed his feelings for me, I suggest him to be with sumone else who likes him more than I do, be with sumone who is of da same race and religion as him so as not to stir any discords frm both sides of family.
A friend said to me me, "Maria, kau lepaskan B pada org lain.. sedangkan dia sukakan kau. Jgn jadi bangsa dan agama tu satu alasan."
NO. It ISNT becoz of race and religion. Da actual fact is, I am not ready for a relationship yet. I only wished to be in a relationship ONCE I am stable financially. So I better not get involve with B so much.
EA, another colleague of mine... Whenever she asked me, "How u and B getting along?" I will ALWAYS answer, "We are getting along fine.."
Like I told u.. everywhere we go, we tend to meet pple who LOVES TO POKE THEIR NOSES INTO PPLE'S BUSINESS!!! EA said, (translated to English coz SHE ALWAYS SPEAKS MALAY to me!!!) "Nowadays I seldom c u lunching out.. Always lunch in. Usually with him.. Wat happen?"
(also translated to English) "Nothing... Shld understand, he's busy. If he wants to lunch in at his desk without any disturbance.. so be it.. U knw, give space?" She nodded but I knw she wants to find out more..
When she knws tat B wants to get to knw me.. I assurred her tat me and B are friends BUT she always said to me, "Me and my bf start frm friends." So wat?! Tat is her LIFE.. Not MINE!!
B4 I end, there is a piece of good news to share with u, readers. B and J are officially together. :) Yes. They are.. (remember my entry dated 22nd August? I mentioned tat B and J's conversation made me suspicious? Yup, they were sorting things out between them. I even heard my name being mentioned but in whisper - dun forget I study Mandarin, I knw wat they were saying coz I understand sum of da words in their sentences and I assume muz be abt working things out) As their friend, I am happy for them. NO, I do not regret my decison. I knw tat watever decisions I made ALWAYS do me good.
P/S: So far only me, PW, Abg Sofian and his wife knws tat B and J are officially together becoz of me. J said thanks to me(in private when B wasnt with her) B, when he announced da news to me, looked kinda worried coz he was afraid I wil get upset.. Haha.. C'mon lah!! Of course I WONT. Instead, I shook hands with him and said, "Congratulations.." With a BIG sincere smile frm me..
But u shld have heard of office rumours and office politics.. So I bet sooner or later ALL da staffs, secretaries, paralegals and lawyers will knw tat B and J are an item.. But y muz they bother?! They are only dating, they didnt do anything wrong.. But I have tis feeling tat EA will come over to me and bombard me with questions aft questions . . . Coz she always so-called 'advise' me, "Walaupun dia cina, ambik aja lah.. Lelaki melayu skrg bukan boleh diharapakan sangat. Menyakitkan hati!" (Oh really? But y is tat her bf is frm Malaysia and he's malay? - da way she advise me is to tell me to juz go for it?!! Dia ingat aku desperate sangat ke sampai Cina pun aku tak tahan nak ambik jugak?!!)
(Translate: Even though he's Chinese juz accept him la.. Malay guys these days..dun say la..)
(Translate: She thinks I am desperate for a bf so juz accept him no matter he is chinese?!!)
My verdict to da two translations above: If I am desperate!! I wld alrdy have got myself a bf by forcing him to accept me in any way he cld!!! But I am not tat type OK!!! In fact, I am still 22 coming 23.. 28 or 29 also can get married.. If didnt get married, da better.. Haha..
Note: B and J, may ur relationship last till marriage.. :D *thumbs up*
