Aft work yestday, I waited for JS (she decided to join us at da last min) and J and we headed off to wait for JY, B and Karen(she quit on 31st May to pursue for her degree studies in Nayang Academy of Fine Arts) at Somerset MRT. PW cant make it at da last min. So, still there were 6 of us.
We had lunch at da Orchard Emerald food court. We reached SunLite PartyWorld KTV at Level 5 Cuppage Plaza 15 mins late. It shld be 2pm to 6pm, but becoz we were late, its 2.15pm to 6pm. Didnt get to sing much. :( They did most of da singing. I sang quite a number of songs too like, NOT A GIRL, NOT YET A WOMAN, EVERYTIME, FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY BROKEN HEART. (sing solo) MY HEART WILL GO ON, FIXING A BROKEN HEART, DANCING QUEEN and BECAUSE U LOVED ME (sing together with JS), SOMETIMES (sing together with Karen).
Da rest are all Mandarin songs. Hmm, B's voice not bad. His singing is not bad too. Well, basically all our voices and singing is NOT THAT BAD.. At least, we can sing!! Hahaa.. I did sing one Mandarin song with J. Coz I cant read da Chinese character. I knw da lyrics so I juz sing. Its LAU SHU AI DA MI.. Hah.. There was another Mandarin song - my fav song - chosen by B (B doesnt knw tat I like tat song, he chose it coz he wants to sing it). Tat Mandarin song is TONG HUA by GUANG LIANG. A song abt love is not a fairy tale. I had alrdy hold da mike wanting to start to sing da part but Karen asked me to hand over da mike to her coz she wants to sing tat song as tat is da only chinese song she got to knw of and she knws how to sing it.. ARGH!!! So, Karen and B sang TONG HUA together while da four of us sat down and so called relax..
Oh, u muz b wondering tat I did mentioned tat I cant read chinese character but for tis song.. I knw da lyrics.. frm start to bottom.. so i wanted to sing wholeheartedly.. Sigh.. Its OK.. Still have more karaoke activities to come.. :)
Aft our karaoke.. 3 of them (JS, JY and Karen) decided not to join us for our evening activities coz JS - she's 7 months pregnant - will be waiting for her husband to pick her up to have dinner with in-laws. JY and Karen wished to go for some shopping spree. So left da 3 of us >> B, J and myself to discuss our evening activity..
While discussing B mentioned tis, "2day we got no chance to duet. I only duet wif all of them but wif u no chance." He shooked his head in dissappointment. Hmm...
We had decided our evening activity and we headed off to MARINA SQUARE. I had been to MARINA SQUARE b4 it was renovated. Aft renovation, I had neva been there until yestday when they decided to have a game of bowling... But, omg!!! Wat a lot of pple at da SuperBowl!! We asked if they had any vacant alley. Sigh.. None.. fully booked.. We had to wait for one hour. One hour!!! So, B and I asked J if she minded playing pool. She didnt mind so we went next door. SuperPool.. We had a game of pool!! My fav!!!
Both of us guide/teach J on da procedures of pooling game. Not bad for first time player! She even beat me!!! B came on emphasizing tat I am da expert. In da end, he won most of da game!! Still he insisted on declaring tat I am da expert. *eyes rolling*
Aft pooling, we went to BK for dinner. While having dinner, I asked J how she find playing pool. She exclaimed, "very fun." Great! We can play again. Haha.. :D
Really had fun today. Tis is da first time I went out with colleagues.. :) I thanked my rezeki for getting tis job and meet many great and amazing colleagues like them..
Tmr, back to work and will only get to lunch with B and da rest for da whole week starting tmr coz he had to go reservist da week aft next.. for three (3) weeks.. I think it's OK coz b4 he asked me out for lunch, I went out for lunch with BB, sometimes with EA, Kak ZA and Kak SM, so i dun think it will be a BIG problem to me.
