I watched STAR AWARDS almost every year, which telecast LIVE in early December. Although, STAR AWARDS is an award show for da Chinese entertainment industry and da language spoken - Chinese, so wat?! Tat doesnt stop me frm watching. Yes, I dun understand wat they were talking abt but at least I can try to guess. As long as I see familiar faces (da actors and actresses) its definitely OK with me. The other 2 nominees; I forgot their names. However, they are not da winners. Da winner is one of them I've listed above : JESSICA LIU. BEST COMEDY PERFORMER oNE more nominee, I didnt get his name. Winner >> well, surprisingly.. Bryan Wong - tat cute guy with da baby face look. He's only 32 or 34 but he looks 22! BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS As usual, da name of other nominee, slipped off my mind. WINNER: Yvonne Lim BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR Winner: I have guess it correctly. I knw he can bag da award. He played da 3rd brother in Tong Xin Yuan. For those Chinese readers, after reading Tong Xin Yuan, U'll definitely knw who's da winner. U shld also knw who bag da award if u have watched da awards. The winner is none other than Cavin Soh. He plays da character: Zhou Daqiu in Potrait of Home 1 & 2. Adrian Pang, Yeow Wun Long, Terrence Cao & Pierre Png plays da role of his 1st brother (Zhou Dadi), 2nd Brother (Zhou Dashan), 4th brother (Lin Dahai) & 5th brother (Lin Dayang) respectively. There's another brother in da drama, da youngest one, Lin Dajiang. I didnt knw wat's his name. Can anyone tell me? Every year, there's a All Time Favourite Artiste award for both Male & Female. Last year, was won by Zoe Tay and cant remember da male winner. Tis year, da award go to Xie Shao Guang & Fann Wong. Shao Guang who wasnt in da award show will be quitting showbiz by next year, (tats wat I heard). There was only one award I missed watching it. I had to do a small 'business' in da Ladies and I was da only one watching it. I smsed my Chinese friends but they were all outside, didnt watch. Darn.. Can anyone tell me da nominees for Best Actress as well as da winner? BEST ACTOR I was hoping for Chen Han Wei to bag da award. Hey, it wasnt easy playing tat kind of role. If u'd watch tat drama (9pm), u knw wat I mean. Da moment I was waiting for, at da end of da show: TOP 10 MOST FAVOURITE MALE ARTISTE & TOP 10 MOST FAVOURITE FEMALE ARTISTE There are no nominations. I will list down 20 artistes who won tat award for tis year. TOP 10 MALE TOP 10 FEMALE There u go. My own review of STAR AWARDS 2005. =) Tmr, I'm gonna catch da final episode of Tong Xin Yuan 2 (Potrait of Home 2) Feeling sleepy rite now, so adious!
