I seem to get jet-lagged quite often; once I thought it was a Thursday when it was actually a Friday. The days pass by without me noticing. It happens when I get cooped up in a place I don't frequent.
I feel tired quite easily now; though I'm getting used to the exhaustion. Good comfy shoes are a must.
The last AND most impt point, my job - which i had been working since 13 December last year - is dealing with Java Games n Ringtones n Wallpapers downloads. For Ringtones n wallpapers - I DONT HAVE TO TEST COZ ALL PHONE COMPATIBLE FOR TAT! But for Java Games, not all phones are customised for a certain Java Game.
So every end of month, I had to do nothing but test Java Games for NOKIA 3230, 6230, 3650 and 7610. Den I will record down in Excel sheet, whether OK or not OK. Once its done, juz emailed to da technical team. Tats one of my job scope!
But it's wonderful that I get the best of both worlds. Initially, I had wanted to be a teacher (despite being a Diploma grad from Computer Studies n now an undergrad in Business Admin -Marketing). Now I get to do a job which is related to my field of studies (both in computer n Marketing)
My grandma nagged saying tat I am a university undergrad n I had this kind of job blah blah.. Readers, wanna knw sumting? IF I HAD NOT CHANGED MY PHONE, I WLDNT GET TIS JOB! Wat da heck do i mean?
K, well, previously.. I used LG phone (NON-GPRS, NON-CAMERA). Sumtime last year Oct, I wanna trade in my phone wif any camera phone but my grandma said tat I have no job, find sumting impt first >> find a job first. But my mum had a diff perception. She said, "who knws if u changed ur phone, ur luck changed."
And yes indeed! After trading in my LG phone for MOTOROLA V220 (GPRS n camera phone), a few days later... I went for an interview for tis job! Cool! Tat phone gave me luck! How do I find out abt tis job? Since MOTOROLA V220 is a GPRS enabled phone, I played ard wif da GPRS.. den da GPRS lead me to WEBWALKERS portal. I went in.. there r ringtones, wallpapers, screensavers, java games n whole lot more contents.. den I scrolled down n saw: JOB OPPORTUNITY. So, I click to tat n read da details. Hence, I WAS SHORTLISTED FOR DA INTERVIEW N DA JOB!!!!
Though I'm just a part time staff, I'm glad that I'm given da opportunity to work here and gain more knwledge and work experience.. Also my job is contract basis.. My contract has ended on 30th June. Now is 13th July (been working in Kyocera for 7 months) and they didnt renewed my contract. They r still keeping me TILL FURTHER Notice.. Oh oh... more worries for me!
Anyway if i were still be pathetically using LG phone, i dun think i got tis job. I dun think i get any job too coz u knw lah (bilingual in Eng n Mandarin) and my grandma will nag more! But she juz cant understand whenever I tried explaining tat becos of my MOTOROLA phone, i got tis job... Sigh..
