Hooray!! So happy! I HAVE GOT A JOB! Where? Well, the company is at 14th floor of Central Plaza. For those of u who didnt know where is Central Plaza, it is next to Tiong Bahru Plaza. Cool.. I can go there shopping hahaha!
Well.. this job...i still got paid $700 per month just like my previous job BUT this is becoz it is part time.. I DO NOT NEED TO COME AT 8.30AM TILL 5.30PM! My working hours are from 1pm to 5.30pm.. $.5 hrs of work with $700 pay.. Worth it ryt? My pervious job was from 9am to 3.30 pm.. 6.5 hrs also given $700 pay.
Ok..Actually I have applied to this job since 8 November but i received a call from them on 24 November telling me tat I was shortlisted for an interview. Woah.. from 8 till 24..they selected suitable candidates for interviews?
On 25 November, as requested.. I came for the interview. The outcome of the interview was the same usual answer i got from my previous applications: We will call u once u r selected for the job/We will call u if u r shortlisted for the second interview. So..I was like "Forget it! All give same ans! Confirm wont get! They gave priority to their pple (Chinese) first!" But I was WRONG!
Yesterday.. I received a call from Carolyn..the lady who interviewed me on 25 November. She called to say that the Director and Sales Manager have selected me for the part time administrative position. I was overwhelmed with joy!
Today..I went to that company.. I was told to come to sign an Appointment letter. Woah..they got everything ready for me. Carolyn said that my desk is beside hers and they already set up my office email account! Cant u believe it? I have an office email account? Gosh!Oh yeah! The name of the company is Kyocera Communication Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. Since I am a Computer Studies majoring in Networks and Communications graduate, I think maybe that was the reason why I was selected for the job because this company is a Telecommunications industry.
See? I told u. People out there wants to look for suitable candidates for any vacant position in their company NOT BECOZ OF THE WAY PEOPLE DRESS! It was becoz of relevant/related qualifications and work experience.Wait a minute! My working place is at Central Plaza ryt? Which is next to Tiong Bahru Plaza.. I met Haizad there! Yes! At Tiong Bahru Plaza!
Remember? Ok..if u dun.. go to my archives (September) and it was on 27 or 28.. Hmm..maybe if luck is with me..I may able to c him again and this time..since I have a camera phone.. I can took photos with him? Hehehe..
So..when will I be starting work? This coming Monday 13 December. Damn! I cant watched my best friend, Ainn for the final time on tv on that day! Well..if u have been reading my entry on 4,6 and 8 December.. u will knw wat was going on. As I have said... there will be a repeat telecast of Heartlanders Season 1 and my best friend Ainn was in the episodes 5,6 and 9. I watched her again for episodes 5 and 6 which was on my birthday and 8 December. 13 December will be the 9th episode. I cant watched la! Darn! Well..its ok..she is my friend.. I will still be able to c or meet her ryt?! Hehehe..
